Kagome sat under the God-tree, thankful for the shade. The day had become very warm. She knew Inuyasha would be coming for her soon asking why she was late, but Kagome didn't feel like moving just yet. The yellow backpack was at her side when the dark haired girl suddenly had an idea. Giggling to herself she ran back inside to get something.

As she walked back to the God-tree, Kagome was greeted by a red blur as it dropped in front of her.

"Hi Inuyasha," she said smiling at the irritated hanyou.

"You're late," he told her. He looked her up and down. "You're wearing different clothes."

Kagome laughed. "Really? I hadn't noticed." She had on an ocean blue skirt with a light blue tank top that had a rose embroidered on the front.

"Feh, how could you not notice?"

"I was kidding Inuyasha! It's so hot out today that I didn't feel like wearing my uniform." She sat down under the tree with a small bottle in her hand.

Inuyasha noticed she was holding something. "What's that?" he asked curiously forgetting about Kagome's lateness.

"Bubbles!" she exclaimed happily.

"Huh?" the hanyou asked confused.

Kagome giggled. "Here, I'll show you."

She took the cap off the bottle and took a two ringed 'stick' out of it. As she blew through one of the rings, round glassy looking things flew out.

Inuyasha stared at the site as one landed on his ear.

"AHHHHH! WHAT WAS THAT!" he yelled jumping up and covering his ears.

Kagome was cracking up. She clutched her stomach as she sat in the grass laughing.

"What are you laughing at wench!" Inuyasha yelled, getting angry.

"Don't call me that!"

"I'll call you whatever I want to, wench!"

Kagome got an evil glint in her eye and Inuyasha knew he was done for. He almost fell over on his own when she just shrugged and started blowing those 'bubble' things again.

"Wha-why didn't you… AHH" he yelped as bubbles flew at him. They were everywhere! He swatted at them as they disappeared. He crouched low, growling.

"What are those!? Where did they disappear to?" he yelled jumping towards Kagome. She just giggled again, until she found herself on the ground with Inuyasha over her. She looked into his amber eyes and laughed again. He was so infuriated over a couple balls of soap. Her arms were still free so she lifted the bubble-wand to her lips again and blew more bubbles into the hanyou's face.

"AHH" he yelled again, but he didn't get off of her as she thought he would. He glared back down at her and she knew she was in for it now.

"Inuyasha?" she asked, getting a growl in return. Then he noticed he was still sitting on top of her. Blushing, he jumped up and put out a hand to help Kagome up. Unfortunately, he pulled to hard and she fell into him. She looked up into his eyes again as his blush faded and he leaned down, kissing her lightly. She had hardly registered what had happened before Inuyasha jumped to pick up the fallen bottle of bubbles.

Kagome tried to suppress her laughter as he examined the bottle scrupulously.

"How did those…round thingys…bubbles…come out of this?" he asked.

"Like this," she said sticking the wand into the liquid and blowing them in his face again.

"AHHH! I'm gonna get you!" He yelled, dropping the bottle as Kagome picked up her backpack and ran towards the well.

"You hafta catch me first!" she yelled back.

A red blur caught up to her at the edge of the well. As Inuyasha grabbed Kagome around the waist, his momentum carried them both into the well. They entered the feudal era tangled in each others arms.
