She ran through the forest at the speed of light, even though she knew her wings would allow her to soar through the air much faster, but she was in a hurry and had no time to think about such things. For soon she was to die and another was to take over her duty as the Fukai Tenshi, she could not let them do that to her. All her life… well from before she became an Angel she knew and loved the forest. She always had loved the forest right?

Her name was Mahou no Hisakata (Magic of the Sky) but she went by Alana, she was true to her Angel name for she was Mahou no Hisakata after all she could do many things others couldn't. She was also true to her mortal name, given to her by a little human girl many years ago; of course the girl grew up and still she stays with the taiyoukai of the western lands. Eventually Alana had to slow as she became winded; the others were chasing her coming for her, catching up to her. "Kami-sama Onegai, I don't want to loose the fukai." With a quick glance back with her fukai green eyes she sprinted forward again. This time with her wings spread out and her earthen brown hair streaming behind her she went for the well.

If I can only make it to the well then maybe I can hide in it till they stop looking for me. Onegai Kami-sama let me make it to the well.

But she was not destined to make it to the well her destiny lay somewhere else, some where in a different world and time where her mortal self lived and served another. One known as Naraku, but it was Naraku who used his magic to seek one that was as powerful as him to take their power, which pulled her through time. In this time she was known as Mahou no Hisakata A.k.a. Alana, Angel of Inuyasha no Fukai moreover its protector, but in that time she was known as Kanna, offspring of Naraku.

Only destiny knew what was to become of her as she jumped and flew over the river before her, soaring through time and space to the Feudal Japan era. Her feet touched the ground after what seemed like several seconds and stopped running sensing that the fukai was younger much younger than when she took over as its guardian. She held up her hands and created the mirror that only she could see, she gazed into it searching for the creatures that sought her, to kill her. Not finding them she thanked Kami for giving her another chance.

But will mysecond chance be worth it?I am defiantly not in my time, I am in another world…it seems that my future lay here somewhere…She turned her head and spotted Inuyasha and his crew behind him, is this the legendary hanyou whom the fukai is named after? Maybe he can help me figure out what is happening…Alana stepped forward and folded her wings, she watched the small group battle a mistress of the wind… Kagura and a small child that held a mirror much like hers. "Fujin no Mai", "Kaze no Kizu!" Laughter could be heard from the retreating party, "We shall meet again Inuyasha."

It is Inuyasha, I hope he will help me out…Alana looked into her mirror watching the retreating party and saw Kanna, who is that girl I see, staring straight back at me? *Crack* Alana looked down at her mirror and then let it go returning it back to air. Could she be my mortal self?

Alana walked nervously towards the group, her wings spread about three hand widths apart. Inuyasha raised his head and looked around, he sense some one was near but could not get a grip on its scent. "What is the matter Inuyasha?" The group began to ask, Kagome looked out into the forest the same moment Alana made her self known to the group. Inuyasha protectively stepped in front of Kagome. "Who are you?" He snarled, Alana stepped back fear springing to her eyes. "My name is Mahou no Hisakata. Please can you help me?"

Kagome blinked as the name registered slightly, `Could this be the Angel?' Kagome had long ago heard a story about an Angel with that name, and how she had watched over some forest but she couldn't remember which one.' "Hai, I am. I am Mahou no Hisakata the Fukai Tenshi." Kagome looked at her surprise in her eyes, `had she read my thoughts? No, I don't think she could have.' "Please call me Alana."

During the short conversation Sango had been looking Alana over, she was about as tall as herself, but she looked like she could be Kanna's twin sister. That is if it hadn't been for her earthen brown hair and forest green eyes. "Miroku…" Sango began softly, Miroku nodded that he was listening. "Don't you find it strange that this alleged angel looks exactly like Kanna only taller and a bit more mature?" Miroku nodded again, "Yes more mature…" Sango turned her head and glared at him, "HENTAI!" She screamed and smacked him upside his head. As he lay swirly eyed on the ground Shippo spoke, "Hai, she does look like Kanna."

Apparently Sango and the other two weren't alone on there thoughts, Inuyasha stood trying to figure out why she looked so familiar himself. He began to sniff the air, as a way of truly trying to get her scent. "Inuyasha what are you doing?" Kagome asked in mid sentence to what she was saying. "I'm trying to catch her scent wench." Alana frowned, Lady Kagome was explaining her weird kimono to her when she pointed out that this hanyou was sniffing her.

"My scent?" She asked timidly, Inuyasha took that as a cover up. "Your hiding something aren't you!?" He screamed in her face unsheathing his sword. "My scent Inuyasha is all around you. Close your eyes and breath." Inuyasha did as he was told…for once. I smell Jasmine and honey… The trees and dirt, basically every scent the forest gives off. "All I smell is the forest and her." He pointed at Kagome rudely, "I can't smell you at all."

Alana spread her wings to there full width, and looked down at Inuyasha, "You smell the forest ne?" He nodded, she flew upwards and looked down, her wings covered the sun and cast a shadow down upon Inuyasha and Kagome along with Shippo who now stood next to her. Inuyasha looked a bit frightened and shocked. He could be seen sniffing the air as if it had changed, "The forest, its like its scent went softer." He mumbled more to him self than anything, nonetheless all three heard it.

Alana landed softly and looked at the hanyou again. "I am the forest Inuyasha. I am also far from my home, you see where I come from…" Here she paused, and her eyes clouded over. "You are just a legend in children's stories. I watch over your forest, for long ago you left. I my self do not know it all, except that you are a legend I am just there to watch over and protect the forest." A deep hurt crossed her eyes, "But even there my time to protect it has come to an end. I don't know where I belong any more."

Far up on a hill a man in a white baboon suit sat, watching through a mirror held in Kanna's hands, "She resembles you greatly Kanna." Kanna just nodded, Kagura stood watching too. "She appeared not that long after you caste a spell to bring some one powerful to you Naraku-sama." Naraku nodded, "Yes, we must find out more about her. If she was brought by my spell she will be key in destroying them and getting the rest of the shards." Far down below laughter rang through the forest.
