Ch. 6 im passing out win or lose, just like you

Pity, Pain, Betrayal, sadness. These were the things that Kagome had felt. She saw it all. From Inuyasha falling out of the window to falling asleep in a cardboard box. These emotions triggered her memories of what happened that not-so-fateful night.

 

FLASHBACK

 

Kagome was walking on her way home from her last day of college. `Finally. No more school. Here comes the adult responsibilities though.' Kagome sighed. In just a few more minutes, she reached the front porch of her apartment complex She almost had a heart attack. There was a man lying on the steps. He was pretty beaten up and had blood coming from a lot of his gashes. Kagome rushed over to him and knelt down. She gently shook his shoulder as he groaned in response. He slowly started to get up as Kagome helped him.

 

“Hey, are you alright?” Kagome put her hand on his arm as he flinched away. He started to back away and was about to run. “No! Wait! Don't go!” He stopped and stared at her for a moment, just before collapsing.

 

“EEEK!” Kagome ran towards him and caught him just before he hit the concrete. The extra weight caused Kagome to fall backwards. “Ooomph!” Kagome looked at the man on top of her. “Oh great! Now what am I supposed to do?”

 

About twenty minutes later, Kagome finally got the boy off of her and up to her apartment, receiving strange looks from the people who passed by. He was currently on her sofa and Kagome had just finished bandaging him. After cleaning up, she sat beside him.

 

`I've never seen anyone with silver hair before. I wonder how old he is. Come to think of it, I haven't really seen him around here at all.' A twitch from his head caught her attention. She leaned up and saw two little doggy ears on his head. “KAWAII!” She was about to reach up and rub them when a moan made her stop. She looked down and saw his eyes looking right at her.

 

“HOLY SHIT!” Kagome fell on the floor gasping for her breath. “You scared the crap out of me!” The boy jumped back at her outburst and hid behind the couch.

 

Kagome looked surprised. `I must have scared him.' She slowly crawled on all fours and looked behind the couch. All she saw was a pair of drop dead gorgeous, golden eyes staring back at her fearfully.

 

“Hey, I'm not gonna hurt you,” Kagome said calmly as she stuck her hand out to him. He moved back, but then forward and started to sniff her hand. “That's it. Come on boy.” Kagome backed up slowly as he started to come out of hiding. They were both now on their knees, face to face.

 

“So what's your name?” He looked at her, tilting his head like the way a dog does when it doesn't' understand what it's master is saying. “I-Inuyasha.” She smiled. “My names Kagome. Well Inuyasha, I bet you're hungry. How about some ramen?” Inuyasha's ears perked up at this, making Kagome giggle. He smiled. Oh how they were going to be great friends.

 

Ok well that's all for now…um I just graduated thursday..yay me! So I have the summer off now and im sure that im gonna be posting so well see…um I know that this chappie is short…just like all the others..lol but I need to get into the writing mood…so this chap is the beginin of what happened that tore them apart ciao for now.
