Chapter one. The poem that starts it all!

-Inuyasha-

I look into your eyes, Kagome,

Sadness, joy, love, hate...

All appear when I meet your gaze,

And I think to myself its too late.

-Kagome-

I look into your eyes, Inuyasha,

Power, hunger, wishful, whole,

Don't you see making you love me,

Is my absolute, true one goal?

-Both of them-

I look into your eyes,

And sometimes I see nothingness,

Blackness that covers feelings,

And hides them, none the less.

I wish I could tell you,

But words won't come out,

What all my side glances, my hugs,

What it's all about!

I wish I could speak to you,

Even just a word,

Or the three that should be easy to say,

But are much easier to be heard.

When I look into your eyes,

I don't need to hear those things,

Your eyes tell me all your secrets,

The ones you try to keep from me.

I know when you are lying,

I know when you are sad,

I know when you are excited,

I know when you are mad.

It's in your eyes,

Written crossed your face,

Eyes are like a delicate book,

Decorated with fragile lace.

So I've talked myself into it,

And courage I've withdrew,

To say these beautiful, simple words,

"Inuyasha/Kagome, I LOVE YOU!"
