AN:
So I started this chapter off listening to Skillet, so go with it guys. I'm going to try and write this as fast as my creative juices will allow, but I also have a side project I want to start soon; while the idea is fresh, you know?
READ:
Anyways, about the subject of Flyleaf, this is the band that I have chosen for Kagome's voice and I do realize that Flyleaf is a Christian band, but in this story, they are not. So please ignore the religious meaning in the lyrics and sort of mend them to how Kagome, Sango and the rest might be feeling.
If this offends any fans of Flyleaf, or any of the Christian belief, I'm sorry. But this after all my story and I can bend the reality of things to my will.
Muwhaha! *insert evil laugh here* Oh, and about my own religion. Well, ha-ha… I'm not, by any means, of the Christian faith. I am Wiccan. But I am very open-minded and hold no ill thoughts about any religion. As for religion in the bands I choose/listen too…look, good music is good music. That's all that matters. And even if some of the bands are Christian, they have a wonderful message about life.
I might not live with Christ, but I live happily with the Goddess.

Sango was furious.
'Of course he doesn't want me...' she thought, ignoring the grogginess in her head. 'He's got all the women he could want!' she shoved past a group of girls, ignoring their rude looks and nasty responses. One even snapped at her and if Sango had felt better right then, she would have confronted them. But she didn't, her body was too hot and her head was spinning.
Sango ran her fingers through her long onyx locks, eyeing the faces in the crowd. The girl wanted to have some damn fun. She didn't want to think about Miroku and his womanizing ways anymore. It wouldn't be long before she got very bored and did something stupid. It was almost odd the way she felt so anxious. Was their really something in that drink?
Deciding to entertain herself, Sango climbed onto a bar stool hoping to peer over some of the heads that blocked her view. It was a stretch, but she could still see Kagome. Her friend was definitely nearing the end of the song, but the girl didn't look any where near finished. She was pressed against the Dog Boy (Sango rolled her eyes at the thought) and was moving her body very seductively with the beat of the song.
“Hey babe, how's the weather up there?”
Sango looked down, aware that someone was speaking to her. A young man, (she was guessing he was in his twenties) was smiling up at her. She didn't notice any of his good features at first, just his pearly white teeth. The girl cringed inwardly; too white teeth, they were practically glowing.
“Fine.” She answered, turning her attention back to the stage.
The man remained there next to her, as if caught off guard by her aversion. He took a swig of his drink before setting it down on the table next to her. For some reason unknown to Sango, he then decided to take it upon himself to curl a strand of her hair around one his thick fingers. “Mind if I join you?”
The dark eyed woman looked down at him immediately, surprised at how brazen his actions were. She swatted his hand away and pulled her long locks to the other side of her body. If she had been sober, she would have sent his ass flying. But she wasn't, and didn't feel like getting violent.
“I'm sorry, I'm here with someone.” Sango said cooling, her full attention back to the stage. Kagome was facing Inu-Dog right now, her head dipped closely to his. It looked as though there was barely any room for the damn mic anymore. Sango's eyes narrowed.
The looked like they were kissing.
“Does your boyfriend know where you are?” he asked, a making it a bit obvious that he was flirting. The girl rolled her eyes and plopped her butt down in the stool. The music was finally fading as Kagome's voice rang out the last line of the song. Sango let out a long sigh, pleased that it was coming to an end. It had nothing to do with her friend's performance, of course; she just wanted to dance. She had a need to feel skin against, other than her own…oh, and the guy's next to hers.
“I never said it was a boy.” Sango told him dulling, ignoring the wide smirk that crossed his face. The little lie was supposed to send him a big red sign, but didn't.
“Well now, are you in for some more company?” He asked again, leaning against the table before her. Sango growled slightly to herself before she finally placed a charming smile on her face.
“I'm not interested, honey.” She said to him, as softly as possible. Leaning her weight against the back of the stool, she tipped it back to rest against the wall behind her. 'I don't feel in control at al, so I better just focus on Kagome.' The girl's thoughts drifted away from the man before her and back to the dark haired monk. Sango had left him quickly, and ignored him as called after her. But the girl had ignored him, determined to be out of his line of sight.
Sango was pleased when the white-toothed guy finally gave up and left, but she immediately thought of THAT other guy again. She imagined that on his way to `rescue' her, he probably found some girl with big boobs and blonde hair, striking up polite conversation and dropping pick-up lines.
Her teeth gritted together at the thought. She was definitely going to do something she would regret if she didn't get to Kagome soon. Sango wasn't sure how long she could keep her drunken behavior in check before she let it take over. When it did, it was better to be around the only other female she trusted.
Sango used foot to kicked her body weight away from the wall, tipping her seat back into it's rightful place. Satisfied she was completely balanced, she jumped off the bar stool and made her way towards the stage were Kagome was still standing. She couldn't help but smile at herself after her little bar-stool trick. If it were any other person, those actions probably would have caused her to fall flat on her face. She didn't mind the admiration and envy displayed on some of the faces around her either.
Sometimes it paid not to be as normal as other girls.
Sango moved her body into the crowd, adding a sway to her hips along the way. She wasn't really sure why she did; it just felt good to do so. She could imagine Miroku behind her, picking his jaw up off the floor as he watched. After every step she took in her friends direction, she could feel less and less sober. Her body was warm and her skin felt tingly. She was aching, but aching for something she knew she couldn't have.
But that didn't mean she couldn't try.
It was strange though, she didn't really feel drunk.
Whenever she actually chose to be intoxicated, she was rather inquisitive about things…and a little bit silly. But right now, she felt like touching things. Well actually, she felt like touching people. Sango had the unverifiable urge to dance. It didn't bother her. Even the fact that she would probably dance with any living/breathing creature right now…
She really needed to find Kagome, or she was going to wind up in trouble.
Sango eyes glanced up to the stage, standing on her tiptoes. The crowd was roaring with cheers and whistles, their applause sounding like thunder from the Gods. She could see her beautiful friend, with her eyes glossy and faced pink. She was bowing, sending winks here and there. Sango laughed at the sight; Kagome was going to hate herself in the morning.
She had finished her little song and was looking rather fabulous as she walked off to the side of the stage. Now all Sango had to do was pull her ass off their and make her dance with her.
`SANGO! Stop it! You're going to cause a fuss!'
A little voice was screaming her name, trying desperately to grab her attention. A few moments ago, she would have listened to it. But not now, not when she was so close to Kagome. She could almost touch her, she could almost feel someone else's warm skin. She would be free any second. Sango would be able to do things she never normally would. Thank Kami!
“Kagome!” she called, pushing the tiny voice to the back of her mind. She waved her hand madly in the air above her, she pushing and shoving her way closer to her friend.
Kagome looked up from her spot on the stage, obviously recognizing Sango's voice. Her eyes searched over the crowd. It was hard to make out anything, let along anyone, thanks to the stage lights. But it was a relief to hear Sango. Kagome knew what she had just done, and she couldn't believe it. She felt like she was going to panic. She wouldn't though, she would calm down and find Sango.
Not able to see the petite form of her friend, she moved closer to edge of the stage. A hand reach out about the same time she got close enough, pulling her forcefully off the stage. She could hear InuYasha's shout, but oddly didn't feel at all in danger.
Her eyes widened in shock as she connected with a soft body instead of the ground. Dazed, she looked up expecting to see someone other then Sango. But there she was, a wide smile dancing across her features. Sango laughed playfully as her friend stumbled, bracing herself to fall. She hadn't yet regained her balance, but the girl would never let her friend just fall. She opened her arms to catch her.
“Sangie!” Kagome cheered after she recovered, her voice was young and playful.
Sango smiled back at her, tucking the girl's long hair behind her ear. “You did great Kaggie-poo!” she insisted, wrapping her tight into a hug. Kagome's eyes fluttered slightly, glassy and sparkling. For some reason, she looked oddly beautiful tonight.
“Really, you think so?” she asked, her index finger touching her lips in thought. Sango rolled eyes at the girl. But she couldn't hold herself for long as they exchanged look. She couldn't help but giggle at the whole bloody night. For some reason, right now seemed like the appropriate time to giggle.
“Kaggie…” Sango laughed and grabbing her friends hand. “I think we're drunk!!!” she insisted, bringing her head to rest on the girl's shoulder.
Kagome laughed with her this time, grinning and blatantly ignoring the people tapping her shoulders and whistling around her. “You know Sango, I think we are too!” They giggled loudly before jumping together in, yet another, over joyful and silly hug. Sango was reveling in the feeling of another persons skin against her own, not caring whose it was, and Kagome will just happy.
Neither of them seemed to care, if even notice, the fact that their voices were higher than normal, or that Kagome was giving Sango silly nick-names, or that people were touching them. The girls could hear their names being called, but neither turned and neither wanted to.
“Higurashi?” a loud voice booming from the mic finally broke their moment, causing the pair to turn their heads to the stage. InuYasha stood before them, well before the mass of bodies in which they were located, with his honey eyes searching for the latest entertainer. Kagome's own eyes widened and she ducked down immediately, pulling Sango with her.
“Higurashi Kagome, you need to come back on the stage.” His voice insisted, though his tone sounded rather punishing.
Kagome turned to her partner (in crime), and found herself fighting off another fit of giggles at the goofy smile on her face. “Oi Sango, let's get out of here!” she whispered to her, cupping her hand over Sango's ear. Sango listened intently, only to scrunch up her nose and shake her head. Kagome watched the girl's hair fall over her shoulders, it looked so nice.
“I don't think…I don't think I can drive.” Her friend slurred, lazily running fingers through her long hair. Kagome sighed and chewed on her bottom lip. She looked up at the people around them, suddenly feeling the heat from all the bodies in the room. She let her hazy gaze run back to the stage, noticing InuYasha was disappearing behind come curtains.
“Uh, oh…” Kagome mused, her voice sounding childish. She thought for a moment, and then with a shrug of her shoulders, she pulled Sango back onto her feet and helped her through the crowd. “Well then, let's go some place we're Inu won't find us!”
“Let's meet some boys!” Sango cheered, still holding her friends hand and throwing her free one into the air enthusiastically. Kagome laughed out loud, and nodded.

“Where is she?!” Miroku growled, politely moving in between two young women. They smiled at him appreciatively, but he paid them no mind. He didn't have time to be a flirt, he needed to find Sango. “Sango!” he called out to her, trying to stand on the balls of his feet to see over the crowd.
Nothing.
There were about 400 plus people in this club tonight, since it was the grand opening. Those girls weren't even supposed to come tonight. They weren't party-girls in the first place! Miroku rubbed his temples roughly, deciding to go back around the other way.
“Damn-it Sango…” he mumbled as he walked, his thoughts drifting back to the girl before she had run off. He wished he would have done or said something different to her. She never would have taken off if he had. Now Buddha only knew where she was, who she was with and…the monk swallowed hard—what she was doing.
A roar from the crowd drew his attention to the stage where Kagome was performing.
She stood their, her eyes off in a far away place, kissing InuYasha Taisho. Miroku's eyes widened in shock, and he ran a nervous hand through his hair. “She is definitely going to be pissed in the morning…” he thought aloud, suddenly fighting the urge to pound his head repeatedly into the nearest solid object. How could two teenage girls be such a bother?
Kagome separated herself from InuYasha, singing the last verse of the song and moving to the opposite end of the stage. The Miroku noticed something. The girls head abruptly turned to the side, and she looked as though she were searching the crowd for something. A hand shot out and snatched up her arm, tugging her forcefully into the body of people.
Panic gripped him momentarily, and his chocolate eyes immediately went to InuYasha's. The dog demon looked slightly panicked too as he tried to grasp Kagome's free arm before she was pulled completely from the stage. He was a split second too late and missed.
Miroku quickly began to force himself back through the crowd, pleading with the Gods above that his friend was alright. Heaven only knew what one of the creeps would want to do with a beautiful intoxicated woman, especially with someone as innocent as Kagome.
He called out for Sango again, then Kagome. Neither responded, and he guessed neither heard. Pulling the cell phone from his pocket, he quickly dialed a number he only recently memorized. He put the phone to his ear, listening to the line ring for barely an instant before a gruff phone spoke up.
“InuYasha?” Miroku stated, looking to the man on the stage. They were still very far apart, the monk being on the complete opposite side of the club. “What happened?”
He watched InuYasha press a finger to his ear, and shout something to some men on the stage. He then turned to the crowd. “I'm not sure, she just got pulled off!” he growled, his eyes were searching the bodies of people.
“Well get off of there and help me find them!” Miroku shouted, half out of worry and the other over the people shouting and cheering.
“Them?”
“(people whistling)…Sango's missing too—”
“Damn, not that wench!”
“Ugh, whatever just find her, okay man?”
“Keh. On it.”
Miroku snapped his phone shut and continued his search through the crowd. InuYasha on the other hand called to Kagome over the mic, but received no response. He jumped down from his place at the stage finally, a bit irritated. Damn that wench! He growled mentally, carelessly shoving people out of his way.
The DJ took control of the hosting position, announcing a 30 minute break before the judges made their final decisions. Not that it mattered, Higurashi had already won. As his eyes swept across face after face, he couldn't get the girl from his mind. She was so fucking confusing…and full of surprises.
The smell of her was branded on his mind. It wasn't her normal scent, the one that was so calming and delicious. No, it was something else. Her temperature had been too high, her actions too bold, and her smell was…different. It was almost as if she was in heat, but not. He knew she was intoxicated, but it was nothing from this place. It had to be something else.
Suddenly, his mind flashed back to before she had even begun singing. The other wench—what was her name…Sango? The one had brought a drink on the stage.
InuYasha's golden eyes narrowed. Those girls had been drugged.

“Kaggie, let's dance here!” Sango called out, pulling her friend away from the small road table. Kagome laughed, winking as she was tugged away from the cute boy she had been chatting with. She let her friend lead her onto the dance floor, her hips moving to the bump of the bass through the speakers.
Somehow they had managed to make it to the top level of the club, far out of reach from InuYasha. She had kissed him, right in front of hundreds of people. She wasn't sure why, but she did. And only a few moments ago, she and Sango were playfully flirting with a group of college boys, too old and too experience for the likes of them. But they did it anyways.
Kagome giggled as Sango pressed her body against her own, dropping down to the floor and seductively bringing herself back up. The girl's grinded hard against each other as they moved their hips in unison, their bodies drunk to the hypnotic pulse of the music.
Kagome could feel eyes pouring into them, most obviously recognizing Sango and her as the two girls that had just been on stage. She didn't care though, she loved it.
“I'm having so much fun!” she cried to her friend, lazily wrapping her right arm around the girl. Sango laughed and placed her fingertips on the girls' hips.
“Me too!”
Just then, one of the guys from the table they were just at came up to them. He grinned, slipping his arm coolly around Sango's waist, forcing her to face him. Her eyes widened slightly, but she was still drunk off the pulse of the music (among things) and didn't seem to mind. She let her defenses down and moved her body against his.
After a moment, the boy's hands became more daring and slipped down to rest on her hip, while the other made its way to her thigh.
Sango didn't have the opportunity to complain, his appearance was followed by another.
…Miroku.
As his beautiful eyes met her own, an overwhelming guilt clenched in the pit of her belly. They were wide, probably in shock or disbelief. But before any real thought could register, Miroku was on his way over to her. Those eyes were narrowed now, and very dark. He had seen the other guy's move.
The girl's heart skipped a beat, and suddenly her body felt like it was on fire. She was ashamed. Here she was, acting like a little tramp and throwing herself all over another guy…and the Monk truly had been looking for her the whole time. Sango felt like a total idiot. Before she could pull away from the guy, she was separated…
Miroku was on top of the other man, his fist pounding repeated into the guys face.
Sango gasped and backed away, snatching Kagome's hand and pulling her with her. She watched in horror as the monks fist continued to make a bloody mess of the guys face. Her body started shaking and she moved to grab his shoulder, but was immediately yanked out of the way. Sango's head spun at the force as she crashed into the floor, feeling the cold tile beneath her.
Kagome was screaming. Those boys they were talking to, all 5 of them, were on their way to Miroku.
“Get away from him!” Kagome was screaming. Sango panicked and pulled herself off the ground, shaking her head free of her previous intoxication. She made a move to rip on of the guys away from her friend, but was thrown back into the nearest wall. Her eyes widened. She hadn't even realized she and Kagome had been flirting with a group of demons…
Kagome was still shouting, even though Miroku was letting half of those boys who came after him have it… the other boy he had been pounding was forgotten. One with a wicked snarl on his face pulled his newly clawed fist back. The miko's eyes narrowed and she immediately gripped his shoulder, channeling his purification energy through her nervous system into his.
It was a dangerous thing to do, but at that moment Miroku was fighting off 5 different guys…and there were more forming. The man Kagome has just zapped, wretched his body away from her, hissing in pain. He cursed wildly, but it only took him a few moments to recover. When he lifted his eyes to meet Kagome's, the girl new she was in for a world of trouble. His eyes were glowing crimson.
“You little fucking bitch!”
Kagome couldn't help but cower, closing her eyes tightly and pulling her hands over her head to protect herself from the impact of the demons attack. A second passed, then another. She waited for the pain, but nothing ever came. The girl slowly opened her eyes.
There were ten men sprawled across the floor, blood splattered across the floor and decorating the same ten faces. The music was still blaring, still pounding. But everything in the top level of the club was still. Kagome saw Miroku, stumbling but still standing.
Sango was at his side, clutching her head in her hands.
And there stood InuYasha, clutching the demon she had used her powers on by the collar. His eyes were dark, making him look dangerous. Very dangerous.
“Don't you, EVER touch her.”
Kagome's eyes widened immediately at the sight. She was at a lost for words. In fact, she was just lost. She watched the mans limp body crash to the floor as InuYasha dropped him. A lump was swelling in her thought. The music was making her dizzy. The alcohol was loosing its effects.
Her eyes moved to Sango's form again. For the first time she noticed Sango was staring at her. Her friend nudged the injured boy next to her. Now Miroku was staring at her. They were shouting. Kagome's head felt heavy. Why where they shouting? Hadn't they been shouting and screaming enough tonight?
She looked back over to InuYasha, who was facing her now. His eyes were focused on her, the terrifying look she had seen only an instant before was replaced with something else. Something she remembered. Her eyes widened.
It was the same one as the night of the accident.
They were shouting her name.
Kagome blinked, and tried to swallow. It wouldn't work. She wanted to sit down. But her body was frozen. She needed to move, but she couldn't. InuYasha was moving quickly in her direction, and Sango cried out her name.
Her mind went blank.
