Everyone had made camp by a lake. Soon everyone fell asleep, but Kagome

Laid there in her sleeping bag .Watching Inuyasha while he slept in the tree above her.

`Inuyasha…' Inuyasha suddenly got up and left the camp.

Kikyo's soul collectors were near by. Kagome sat up carefully not to wake up Shippo, who was in her arms asleep.'Inuyasha why do you always run off to here why can't you be with me instead? `Kagome got her bow and arrows and headed for the lake that was near by the camp.

“Inuyasha why are you still hanging around my reincarnation? “ Kikyo asked walking up to Inuyasha.

Inuyasha just stood there not knowing what to say. “She is only to find the jewel shards. That is why. “He said without thinking .Soon he realized what he had said and regretted it. “That mean you will be coming to hell with me soon after the jewel is complete.” Kikyo hugged Inuyasha .”I will be waiting Inuyasha.”

Kikyo soul collectors came and took Kikyo away.' Thank god Kagome is not here' He thought.

“Kikyo…” Inuyasha headed back for camp.

Kagome finally came upon the lake they had past before they had set up camp.

She put down her bow and arrows and looked up at the sky.

“Inuyasha this song is for you. To bad that you will never hear it though”

Kagome didn't know that a `'he'' was in a tree listening.

`What is Kagome doing out here in the middle of the night?'Inuyasha asked himself. Kagome started to sing the song that was for Inuyasha.

I looked away.

Then I looked back at you.

You tried to say.

Things that you can't undo.

If I had my way.

I'd never get over you.

Today's the day.

I pray that we make it through.

Make it through the fall.

Make it through it all.

`What the hell does she mean?' Inuyasha leaned in to listen better.

Inuyasha sat there in the tree think about all the names he has called her.

`She sings beautifully .Kagome I'm so sorry for everything. Only if you knew what you meant to me.'

Kagome stopped singing and stood there looking up at the sky.

“Inuyasha only if you knew what you mean to me …”Kagome signed.

Inuyasha jumped down from his perch. Not making a sound behind Kagome and wrapped his arms around her waist.

Kagome jumped and turned around.

“Inuyasha!”Kagome gasped in surprise.” How long were you up there?”

“Long enough to here the whole song. “Inuyasha buried his nose in Kagome's hair

Taking in her wonderful scent.”Inuyasha I love you “Kagome looked at Inuyasha in the eye. Inuyasha smiled at those three words he been wanting to here from her lips. “I love you too Kagome.”Inuyasha then kissed Kagome with all of his love.

Kikyo was standing there the whole entire time watching the two.

`Err… my reincarnation will not have Inuyasha' She got her own bow & arrow and aimed it at Kagome.'If I can't have him then my reincarnation will not have him!'

Kikyo shot her arrow at Inuyasha.Kagome say it heading for Inuyasha.

“Inuyasha Look out!!” Kagome pushed Inuyasha out of the way.

(A/N damn when did Kagome get that strong??? On with the story)

“Kagome!” Inuyasha yelled as Kagome was struck in the chest with Kikyo's arrow.Kikyo then vanished.”K-kagome… KAGOME!!!” Inuyasha got up and ran over to the bleeding Kagome. “Hold on Kagome “

Inuyasha ran back to camp, luckily the others were awake and saw kagome.

“Inuyasha put her down and get some water from the river!” Sango said working on Kagome's wound.

Okay I'm going to cut it off there. Yes I know it probably long yet short. I was going to make it one chapter long, but I have to make another chapter.
