Naraku was dead and the shikon no tama was whole . The hole in Miroku's hand

was gone ,but his lecherous ways were still going strong and Sango

wouldn't have it any other way . Almost all of there problems were solved , it was

only a matter of making a wish on the jewel and Inuyasha's decision

between Kikyo and Kagome . Kaeda , Kikyo , Kagome , Sango , Miroku , Shippo ,

and Inuyasha were all gathered around the blazing fire and waiting for

Inuyasha's wish and decision . Kagome was a little nervous she knew he cared for

her but didn't know if it was love . If he didn't choose her she would

have to go back to a life that no longer welcomed her. All of her absences and

Illnesses caused her to fall way behind in school and not to mention her social

life was ruined . The many dates she blew off with Hojo and the many girl outings

she missed with her friends . She hardly even knew them anymore so this

very moment would either change her life or ruin it . Kikyo was basically thinking

the same thing , this moment would either keep her alive or kill her.

It was now time for the wish , Kagome had just finished fusing together the jewel

and it now lay in Inuyasha's hand waiting to serve it's purpose . Inuyasha

had no Idea as to what he was going to wish for . He didn't want to become a full

demon and lose his soul and mind . So he did the only thing he could do , he

wished for his hearts true desire . Inuyasha's forest was engulfed by a white light

that only lasted for a few seconds . Everyone looked around at each

other, and looked at themselves to make sure that they were ok . Almost everyone

checked out ok except for two . Kikyo was disappearing by the second and

it was frightening her . " Wh ... wha..... what's happening to me ? " asked Kikyo as

she looked around for the someone to explain this turn of events to her .

Her eyes finally fell open Inuyasha who only shrugged . He honestly didn't know

what was going on , he wished for his hearts true desire and he knew it

wasn't for Kikyo to fade away . They were all looking towards each other for an

answer when a voice spoke . " Your hearts desire was for Kikyo to rest in

peace . Don't fight it Kikyo , you no longer belong in this world , " said the

mysterious voice . Kikyo looked both shocked and scared . " Hell no I won't go ,"

chanted Kikyo over and over when she suddenly disappered . " Sorry bout that ,

she was talking to much ," said the voice . " Who are you ?" asked Inuyasha

. " I am Midoriko the guardian of the jewel of four souls ," said Midoriko .

" Your wish was pure and had no ill will towards anyone , now the jewel will

disappear as will I . The rest of my soul will go to my reincarnation Kagome ," said

Midorko as she too disappeared the same way Kikyo did . " You guys ! We

have another problem ," said a worried Kagome . everyone turned towards where

Kagome was sitting and stared at her in shock . She was a hanyou . She

had two fury gold ears on top of her head and gold streaks through her hair .

There wasn't really any difference from when she was human to now . The

first one to speak was Miroku and no one took kindly to his words especially

Sango and Inuyasha . " Wow Kagome you beautiful ! Will you bear my children ,

only three or four ," said Miroku who had trapped Kagome's hands within his own

. For a few seconds Kagome hadn't realized that she had hanyou strength

and could kick Miroku's ass , but that only lasted for a few seconds because as

soon as she realized it she knocked Miroku out . Then it was Sango's turn ,

she picked up hirokatsu and whacked him with three times . Inuyasha kicked

Miroku in the stomach a couple of times . Then out of no where Shippo shows up

and opens up a can of whoop ass on him . Everyone stared at Shippo like he was

crazy until he spoke . "Hey you all were hitting him! I didn't want to be left out

so I hit him too ," " You did more than hit him , you opened up a can of whoop ass

on him !" said everyone at the same exact time . " Anyways , I'm going to

have a talk with Inuyasha ," said Kagome as she dragged Inuyasha off towards

the well.

" Inuyasha how is me being a Hanyou your true desire ?" asked Kagome hoping

this meant what she thinks it meant. " Kagome I'm going to get straight to the

point I ......" Before Inuyasha could finish his sentence he heard a twig snap

behind the bushes. He walked over to the bush to find Kaeda , Shippo ,Sango ,

and Miroku listening behind the bushes . " Why you $%#$##$ idiots , I can't have a

private conversation with Kagome without you guys @#$%^&* messing it

up you guys are starting to give me a god#$%^ headache ," yelled inuyasha .

More curses were thrown while Kagome hopped into the well .

(I could so stop right here but I'm not that evil ^_^) It took a few more minutes than

expected for Inuyasha to realize Kagome had left . He quickly finished

cursing the rest of them out and hopped into the well.

Inuyasha climbed out of the well and into the house , once in there he was

greeted by Mrs. Higurashi . " Hey Inuyasha , Kagome is up in her room . Will you

stay for dinner ?" " Yeah ,sure whatever ," said Inuyasha as he made his way up

the stairs . Lucky for him Souta was to wrapped up in his new x-men video

game to bother him and that Ji-chan was out at a convention . He was finally in

Kagome's room where she was busy doing homework . The one thing that

bothered him was Kagome's mom didn't seem to care about the fact that Kagome

was a Hanyou ..

" Yes she knows , and she's gotten over the shock pretty quickly ," said Kagome

who didn't even turn around to look at Inuyasha . He was a little shocked at

the fact that she knew he was there but then realized that she was a hanyou . "

Well let me finish what i was going to say when we were at the well . I love

you Kagome , I have ever since the day you released me from the tree . I was just

to afraid of being rejected to act on my feelings , but now I don't care I'm

going to love you for the rest of my life even if it means I will have to watch you

love some other man the way I want you to love me ,"said Inuyasha who

kept eye contact with Kagome the whole time . One long tear slid down Kagome's

face , she was very touched by his words , and relieved by the fact that he

loved her as much as she loved him . " I love you too Inuyasha , I could never see

myself loving anybody other than you and I would like to spend the rest of

my life with you . From the wise words of Miroku , yes I would love to bear your

children ," said Kagome as she jumped into Inuyasha's arms . " Kagome will

you be my mate ? " asked Inuyasha , in all actuality Inuyasha was very nervous ,

she might love him but maybe she didn't want to be his mate . " I'd love to ,"

said Kagome . Mrs. Higurashi quickly walked away from the door , she was so

happy . " I'm going to have grandchildren with cute little dog ears ! Babies ,

Babies , Babies ," chanted Mrs. Higurashi over and over . " I think your mom

heard our conversation ," said Inuyasha . " Well it saves us the trouble of having

to tell her about us ," said Kagome as she snuggled deeper into Inuyasha's chest .
