"Okay class dissmissed!" Drinka called out. As the last bell rang ending the school day. "Sessoumaru, Jinx I'd like to speak with you two please."
"Yes Drinka?" Sessoumaru answered her.
"I've been watching you two and I get the felling that there's some animosity between you."
"Understatement." Jinx told her.
"Well I did notice some...heat."
"Heat!" Jinx snorted incredulously. "From the prince of the ice people over there?"
"You'd know all about ice," Sessoumaru told her. "I could probably chip some off your heart."
"OK that's enough you two. The reason I asked to talk to you is because I realized that the assignment I gave you wouldn't work. Where everyone else has spent time with their partners you barely know each other. So I've decided to give you a new assignment. It's called getting to know you. Take pictures of each other both spontaneous and staged. I suggest you get started you only have three weeks. As Drinka dissmissed them both Jinx and Sessoumaru had the exact same thought
'This is not good.'

"So," Jinx said as they walked out the classroom and down the deserted hallway, "you're place or mine?" She asked Sessoumaru giving him a playfully seductive look. Sessoumaru just glared at her. "Oh come on. I don't like this anymore than you do. But you could at least make an effort." Sessoumaru just continued to glare at her.
"Or not."
'I can't believe I'm stuck with this girl for the next three weeks.' Sessoumaru fumed to himself. 'How could Drinka do this to me? I was doing perfectly good on my own. Well if I have to be stuck with her for the next three weeks. I had better lay down some ground rules.'
"Look if we're going to do this we need to...."
"Shit." Jinx stated cutting him off.
"Well actually I was going to say.."
"Very funny. I meant shit I left my portfolio in Drinka's classroom. Can you wait here while I go get it?"
"Do you know your way back to the classroom?" Sessoumaru asked her looking as if it was such a trial to wait for her. "I don't want to have to come looking for you if you get lost."
"Your concern is overwhelmingly touching." Jinx said sarcasm dripping from her voice.
"Can you?" Sessoumaru insisted sounding annoyed.
"Yes."
"Well hurry up I don't have all day to wait on you." He told her.
"With all haste my lord." And with a condescending bow she turned and went back down the hallway.
"Damn!" Sessoumaru swore softly to himself. If nothing else that girl had a walk that could kill. And it wasn't like some other girls who tried to walk that way. Hers came all natural. Came. Not a word that he should be thinking at the moment in the past, present, or future tense. 'Think of something else, think of something else.' He chanted to himself. After a few minutes of this he noticed that Jinx still wasn't back yet. The wench probably got lost. With an exasperated sigh he went in search of his wayward partner.
"I know lots of things." Sessoumaru heard a slimy voice say as he walked towards Drinka's class.
"Not as much as you think you do." He heard Jinx say. 'I'm waiting for her and she's flirting with some guy.' Sessoumaru thought to himself getting angry. "Now if you'll excuse me someone is waiting for me." Sessoumaru heard her say to the guy in clipped tones. 'Wait that doesn't sound like...' Sessoumaru heard a small slam.
As Sessoumaru rounded the corner he saw Jinx pinned in the doorway of Drinka's classroom by Naraku who was holding on to her arm to keep her in place.
"Leaving so soon? but we just met." Naraku told Jinx smiling.
"You need to let go of my arm and move the fuck out of my way. NOW!" He heard Jinx tell Naraku and from the sound of her voice she was pissed and agitated. Sessoumaru saw red and he didn't think he just acted.
"Let her go NOW Naraku." Sessoumaru growled as he reached out grabbed Naraku by the back of his neck.

As Jinx walked backed to Drinka's classroom to get her portfolio she listed the pro's and con's of having Sessoumaru as a partner.
Pro: He is so gorgeous.
Con: He thinks he knows everything.
Pro: He must be talented or he wouldn't be in Drinka's class.
Con: He always orders her around like he has a right to.
Pro: Ice prince is rich so he probably has his own darkroom.
Con: If confined in said darkroom with him she will have no choice but to jump his bones and see if she could melt all that ice.
'Well that was certainly helpful' Jinx said to herself as she found Drinka's classroom and was surprised to find the door unlocked.
"That's strange." Jinx said to herself as she opened the door. "Drinka must have forgotten to lock the door." As Jinx looked around she found her portfolio on the floor by her desk. As she reached down to pick it up she felt the hair stand up on the back of her neck.
"Well, well. What have we here?" A creepy voice said from behind her. As Jinx spun around she almost fell and the arm that reached down and grabbed her are sent slimy chills down her spine. As she looked up the guy she saw did nothing to allay the strong bad vibes she was getting. As she looked him over the long somewhat messy dull black hair, the dark mulberry red eyes and the school uniform that was a bit to perfect, a voice in her head screamed at her, GET YOUR ASS THE HELL OUT OF HERE!
"Are you alright? He asked Jinx.
"Yes I'm fine." Jinx told him "You just startled me. I didn't hear you come in."
"I apologize." He said sounding anything but. "I wanted to simply meet you. To see fear in eyes as beautiful as yours is something I would never wish to do." He finished with a smile.
'My God,' Jinx thought to herself. 'this guy is so oily you could fry chicken on his smile.'
"And you are?" Jinx asked him
"Forgive me my name is Naraku Kuroichi."
"Well it was nice to meet you Naraku." Jinx said, and quickly stepping around him made a beeline for the open door. But before she could reach it Naraku appeared in front of her leaning against the open doorway with his arms crossed.
"But you have not yet told me your name" He asked her with a small smirk.
'A youkai?' Jinx thought to herself. ' But I didn't sense him as one.'
"I'm Jinx Williams" She told him. "But why do I get the feeling you already knew that?"
"I know lots of things." Naraku told her.
"Not as much as you think you do." Jinx told him. "Now if you'll excuse me someone is waiting for me." Jinx said walking past him, but before she could reach the other side of the door Naraku grabbed her arm and slammed her back against the doorway.
"Leaving so soon? But we just met."
"You need to let go of my arm and move the fuck out of my way NOW!" Jinx yelled at him giving him one more chance to let her go as she felt power rising and building.
"Let her go NOW Naraku" She heard Sessoumaru growl. All of a sudden Naraku was flung across the hallway.
"Are you OK?" Sessoumaru asked her.
"Yeah I'm fine." Jinx told him.
"You're sure?" He pressed her looking into her eyes.
"Yeah I'm sure." Jinx promised him caught in the intense beauty of his eyes.
"I think the person you should be worried about is yourself Kauzon" Naraku said menacingly from behind them.
"You would do well to shut your mouth and get out of my face before I lose my temper Kuroichi." Sessoumaru coldly told Naraku.
'You mean he hasn't lost his temper yet.' Jinx thought to herself.
"You overreact my friend. I was mearly talking to Jinx, getting better acquainted with her."
"You'll be getting better acquainted with the ground if I ever see you around her again Kuroichi."
"So protective Kauzon." Naraku said mockingly with a sinister smirk. "One might think you had feelings for the girl."
"The only thinking you need to do is about what I'm going to do to you if I hear her name in your mouth again." And with that he took Jinx by the arm, turned his back on Naraku and walked away never looking back.

"Thank you Sesso..."
"What the hell were you thinking?!" Sessoumaru asked her coldly cutting Jinx off."
"Excuse me?"
"What is it with you and this compulsion to find and/or attract trouble no matter what you do?"
"Your blaming what happened back there on me?!"
"Are you saying it's not?"
"Well let's see, I asked some psychopathic, moronic asshole who can't take a hint to corner me in an abandoned classroom and try to molest me. Yes I can see how this is completely my fault."
"Well by the way you flirt and hang on to every guy you meet..."
"What does that mean? And I suggest you that be real careful about your answer." Jinx told him warningly.
"Well when you hug three guys one after the other...
"Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute. Are you talking about Bobby, Billy and Brian? Not that this is any of your business but they are my friends. I give hugs to my friends and...wait a minute, why does this bother you so much?"
"It doesn't bother me."
"It seems like it bother's you." Jinx shot back. Sessoumaru grabbed her are arm twisted her around to face him.
"It. Does. Not. Bother. Me. Got it?" He asked looking at her only to discover that she was staring at his mouth.
"Oh I got it." Jinx told him in a low voice. As she raised her eyes to look into his Sessoumaru sucked in a deep breath at the desire he saw there. He also smelled her arousal and this for some reason pleased him. It was then he noticed that his head was moving closer to hers it was then he also noticed that he didn't want to stop and that Jinx wasn't stopping him either.
"Hey Jinx!" A familiar voice called out effectively breaking Sessoumaru and Jinx out of the haze they were in.
"Um..I..uh..we..." Jinx tried to say.
"We need to get to work on our project as soon as possible." Sessoumaru told her stepping away from her with a cool and stoic look on his face.
"Right. I just need to see about my car and go home to change and get my camera." Jinx told him not breaking eye contact with him.
"Fine." Sessoumaru told her in a clipped tone. Reaching into the bag on his shoulder he ripped off a piece of paper and wrote something on it. "Here is my address," Sessoumaru told her handing her the piece of paper, "meet me there at five." And with that he abruptly turned and walked away.
"Hey Jinx what going on." Mirouku asked her again.
"Oh hey Mirouku what's going on?" Jinx asked him still staring after Sessoumaru.
"I could ask you the same thing J. What just happened between you and Sessoumaru?" Mirouku asked her.
"I don't know Mirouku." Jinx told him. "I really don't know."
