Sam: Hey up there! Inuyasha! I want to talk to you!

Iunyasha: *grumbles, and looks down to see a boy from Kagome's era standing by `his' tree* Oi, who are you and what do you want?

Sam: The names Sam, I'm writer of fan fiction, and I have come to talk to you about your love life.

Iunyasha: Would you people leave that subject alone?! *jumps from tree and starts walking away*

Sam: You don't owe her anything, you know that right? You say that she came after you, but the only reason she did that was to kill you, you didn't cause her death, Narku would have killed her with or without you being here. I don't doubt that you loved her but you owe her nothing.

Iunyasha: What in the world are you talking about?!

Sam: Kikyo. You say that you owe her your life, why? Why do you owe her that? She was unfaithful to you, and was willing to betray you at the drop of a hat… but then again I guess you weren't much better, at least you where willing to talk to her, ask what went wrong, instead of wanting to kill her for what you thought she had done. But you cared for her, loved her, were willing to put your life in harms way for her, why would you kill? Do you know what she asked of you when she asked you to become human? She asked you to dye.

Iunyasha: NO SHE DIDN'T, KIKYO WOULDN'T HAVE ASKED SOMETHING LIKE THAT FROM ME!!!!

Sam: NO! THEN WHY IS IT THAT YOU NEVER SLEEP ON YOUR HUMAN NIGHT?!! DIDN'T YOU, YOURSELF, STATE THAT YOU HAD ENEMIES THAT WOULD KILL YOU IN YOUR WEAKER STATE?!!! DID YOU THINK THAT THEY WOULD GO AWAY ONCE YOU TURN HUMAN??!!! THEY WOULD HAVE FOUND YOU AND RIPPED YOUR HUMAN HEART RIGHT OUT OF YOU!

Iunyasha: I…um….

Sam: Didn't think about that? No, you wouldn't have, after all you gave her your trust, how much of it, only you know for sure, but you thought you had found a friend, someone as lonely as you were someone to care for. And you did, you didn't fail her, she failed you. She asked you in the round about way to give up your life and, by her arrow; you did what she asked you to do. So why do you owe her your life?

Iunyasha: I don't know anymore.

Sam: You died for her once; do you really have to die for her again? And what about your friends, do they have to suffer because of her too? It hurts to lose love ones, I know this, being human and being able to see my elders die before me, knowing with very death I become closer to being the elder myself, but that's life. It's hard and complicated, but that's what makes us work hard, that and the knowledge that we can learn form our mistakes. And since you were willing to learn form that mistake; willing to put your trust out there once more, you have gain friends, people who care about your welfare. But what does that mean if you are willing to throw your live away? For that matter why are you after the jewel? What will you gain from being a demon only to go to hell? Think.

Iunyasha: What should I do?

Sam: Don't know, but I suggest listening to what your heart tells you. I have to go now, but if you ever need some one to talk to, to listen, I'll be there. *turns to leaves*

Iunyasha: Wait a minute, what does this have to do with my love life?!

Sam: *walking away* If you don't know then I won't tell you.
