Six days after the fight with Naraku, Sango was mending Miroku's wounds, unfortunaly, he had to rub her butt. SLAP. Kagome sighed and thought, Sango and Miroku love each other, sort of, why can't Inuyasha ask me? does he even love ME as much?, she sighed again and looked around. Inuyasha was leaning on a tree, sleeping. Sango bandaging Miroku's arm, while Shipo was playing with Kilala. Kagome said to Sango, " At least we have the all of the Shikon Jewel," Sango stood up and said, "But what are you going to do with it?" " Well I am thinking I could turn half demon and then marry him," She changed her voice to a disapointing whisper,"If he will accept." "What if it doesn't work, Kagome, what are you going to do then?," iritated Kagome replied, " There's nothing to stop me, so I might as well try." InuYasha awoke quietly, got up, and slowly walked over to Kagome asking, "Can I talk to you Kagome," he had a kind of sexy kind of sound in his voice. He held her wrist and walked her outside, Kagome wondered what did he want. He turned to face her and said "Kagome," She nodded, not knowing what to say, he drew her close, " What are you going to do with the Sacred Jewel?" She hesitated,"To tell the truth, I am not sure," really, she was sure, she wanted him to know. Slowly, he let go of her and grabed her hands. Kagome thought, Is he? right now? here?, He look into her eyes said, " Kagome," " Hi, Kagome," Shipo said, popping up on her shoulder, "lunch is ready." By the time Shipo had appered, InuYasha had left her to eat.Miroku was watching Sango eat, wondering why he likes her so much. She seen him, blushed, and continued eating. He knew that she likes him, he also knew that she knew too. The only thing wrong is that he doesn't know how to ask her right so, he just won't quite stop touching her butt. It seems that he can't resist a pretty face because Sango isn't the only one he's touched. Sango finish her food, stood up, and looked out the window and says,"It's a real nice night, Miroku, do you what to walk with me?," he hesitated, but before he had a chance to answer, InuYasha interruped,"Why can't you go by yourself Sango? Chicken?," scolding-mad she said,"NO! I just asked if he would like to come with me." Kagome ellbowed Inuyasha in his side so he would shut up. Then she whispered in his ear,"If they're gone you can tell me that thing, remember." She stood up and happily said," you two go." Kagome rushed Naroku out the door. They left, now the only thing for them to do was to get Shipo out. "I going to see my new friend, Aonnei." Kagome and InuYasha were there, almost all alone.Kilala was sleeping in the corner. Kagome sat down next to him, "What were you going to tell me?," he grabed her hands, lured her close enough so their eyes meet, " I-," she place her finger on his lips. He was suprised, but he knew what was happening she removed her finger. They got closer and closer. She placed her hand on his ear and slid it, slowly, down to his smooth cheek. she thought, Why do dreams take so long to come true?, she got closer and ready for the biggest thing in her life, this kiss. While she day dreamed, he was thinking why in the world is taking girl so long to kiss me? Songo and Miroku take LONG but she love him, how long does it really take. InuYasha was still waiting. He got to the point that he wouldn't keep this up for long. Unexpectedly, the door slamed opened. A very cute boy appeared. Inuyasha noticed the scent of blood. He drew out his sword. " Do you have any leftover food?, I only need alittle." InuYasha put his sword back and looked over at kagome. She was practicly drooling over the boy. Jelously, he said,"Why should we help you?!" "SIT!" "I hatmmmm.." Kagome reached into her backpack and pulled out alittle plastic bag. She handed it to the young boy and he opened it. There were 3 peices of a sandwich. He ate them and thanked Kagome for her generosity. "I'm a demon. My father has passed away and my mother is being held by a shape-shifting demon, that looks like him," he pointed right at InuYasha,who was sitting on the floor asking kilala questions then continued," Sanji, I think, told me to come get the one named InuYasha or he would kill her, do you know where he is?" Inuyasha looking right at the boy, with one cold stare said,"That's me. So when do we fight, boy?" Kagome looked puzzled at the both of them. Then, there was a big dragon-like thing floating right were the boy was standing. "I'm Sanji the shapeshifter, but watch what happens to your girlfriend." Sanji looked over at Kagome with a hard stare, the over to Kilala. He said Come and Kilala transformed into her lion-sized battle-form. Kagome was ready to hit InuYasha with her bow and arows, so he didn't dare to move. He thought, Okay, Sango, Miroku, and Shipo are gone, Kagome and Kilala are hypnotized by a demon shapeshifter, and I can't move without getting shot by a arow!, he got ready to grab his sword and crouched down low. Sanji just laughed at him," Your girlfriend and cat are mine and you can't attack me without hiting them." InuYasha ran right past kilala and right over to the demon and got a good clear shot. He drew out the Tetsusaiga and was just about to attack when an arow shot towards his arm. He dodged it but, got hit by the dragon's tail. InuYasha's sword was knocked to the other side of the room. He ran, angered, to the demon dragon and was ready to attack him. InuYasha unleashed an attack on his enemy but, the dragon grabed Kagome and used her to deflect his attack. It hit her back and she screamed in pain. Now furious , InuYasha striked at his foe and killed him. Then, went over to Kagome to help her up. "InuYasha, I'm sorry, I didn't mean for this to happen. It's my falt!" He looked at her. There was a tear coming down her face. "It wasn't anyone's falt." He whiped it away and smiled. She couldn't help but to smile back. "Kaogme, no matter what, I will protect you." He hugged her and said, "Kagome would you...." Meanwhile, Sango and Miroku stoped alongside a riverbank. " InuYasha been acting strangly, Miroku." "Yes, he has," He didn't even look up, "Sango," She hugged him before he could finish.
