Sesshomaru felt her stir around in his lap and he opened his eyes and saw her confused face. He nuzzled her neck, taking in her scent and he was relieved when he did not detect any kind of infection or fever within her. "Good, she will not leave me alone." He thought but he did not like the way she stiffened under his touch.

- How are you feeling Sango-chan? he asked and moved her so he could see her face better.

- I… I don't know Sesshoumaru-sama, whispered Sango. The last hours of her life were very blurry and she had been very confused when she woke up to find her self in the stoic youkai's lap.

- Do you feel any kind of pain? His voice revealed the concern he felt for the woman inside his embrace.

- N-no, I am just… confused.

- About what my dear?

- .. ehh why am I in your lap Sesshoumaru-sama?

- Do you not remember? Sesshoumaru felt a small jolt of fear inside his heart.

- It is a bit h-hazy, said Sango.

- You were injured when you fought against Naraku's demons. The strange miko that travels with you did a makeshift bandage, but it was I, Sesshoumaru, that healed your injury up to the point to where you stopped bleeding, but you still have some healing to do.

Sango saw a flash of memory and she paled and then she blushed. She remembered the youkai lord ask her to trust him and she had nodded in consent to that and he had… "O MY GOD!!! He licked my wound??!!" her mind screamed.

Sesshoumaru was not pleased at all by the way her scent change and he tried to avoid to the growl in his throat loos, but he failed miserable and Sango paled once again.

- I… I am so sorry Sesshoumaru-sama, I never meant to be an inconvenience for you, she rambled on.

- Inconvenience? My dear Sango-chan, you will never be an inconvenience to me, he assured her but she did not take notice to his words. She tried to get out of his arms but he pulled her back.

- P-please let me go, she whispered raggedly

- No, not until you calm down Sango-chan, he said firmly. I can both smell and feel your distress and this Sesshoumaru does not like it.

- W-why are you acting like this?

- Like what?

- You are acting like you c-care about me.. I .. I am h-human, she sobbed.

- Sango-chan, look at me… please.

"I, Sesshoumaru am begging a human woman." He wanted to growl just at the mere thought of this, but her silent cries made him purr so she would not feel threatened by his youkai nature.

Sango looked up into his handsome face and she saw the compassion shimmer inside his dark amber eyes. She gasped a bit when he rubbed his nose against hers.

- I thought you trusted me Sango-chan?

The hurt in his voice made Sango want to cry all over again and she latched her arms around his neck and sobbed into his warm chest. "I do, I do, I do."

- I do.

Sesshoumaru let out the breath of air, a breath he did not know he held. He tugged her closer to his lean form and felt a wave of warmth flow through his soul.

- Never do this again, it will kill my immortal heart Sango, he whispered and let small kisses rain down onto her shoulder.

- …

Sesshoumaru did not anything; instead he closed the space between their faces and his lips locked over hers in a gentle kiss. Like the last time he kissed her he soon found himself to loose his head in her taste. It was innocent, seductive and powerful, all in the same package. His fangs nibbled her bottom lip and she parted them so he could slide his tongue into her mouth. "No, I need her to be healed first." The thought shot threw his lust filled mind and he moved back a bit, hating to hear the soft whimper from Sango.

- Not now koishii, I will proceed later with you, he said with a voice filled with love and emotions.

Sango nodded and let him carry her out from the cave to the small clearing outside.

Kagome rushed to her friend's side. Sesshoumaru sat her down by the fire and wrapped the taijya with his fluffy boa, keeping her warm as he himself found a large branch to settle down on. Kagome could clearly see that it was not what he wanted and she smiled inwardly. O yes, the ice cold lord had it baaaaad for Sango!

Sango sat silent, she could see the small smiles Kagome gave her and she really tried to keep her blush down, she really did, but she failed every time miserable. And feeling the amber gaze in her back from a certain lord did not make her feel any better either. "Gods, please take me away from here." she prayed silently, wanting to be alone in a dark place. She smiled falsely to Inuyasha when he handed her a bit of meat to eat.

- We will head back to Kaede-obaasan after we finished this meal, said Inuyasha and watched the movements of his brother.

- Yes, that is a good idea, said Sango and took a feisty bite from the meat.

- No, you will not travel until you are fully healed, came Sesshoumaru's voice from behind.

- Huh??

- He is right Sango-chan; you are in no condition to travel yet, said Kagome.

- What??!! I am too!! shouted Sango.

- I will not allow you to go anywhere Sango-chan, said Sesshoumaru and sat down behind Sango and pulled her up into his lap, making her blush the whole scale of red with his actions.

- What the hell are you doing Sesshoumaru-sama? asked Sango between her growling sounds.

- Be still and eat or you will not heal properly, he stated and put a piece of meat to her mouth.

- Excuse me, but I am fully capable of taking care of my self!!

- Otouto, may I ask a favour from you? asked Sesshoumaru and ignored the frustrated taijya in his lap.

- Sure, said Inuyasha a bit surprised to be called brother.

- I want you to get Rin and take her to the village where you stay most of the time, said Sesshoumaru and took a stronger hold on Sango's waist.

- Of course, where can I find her? asked Inuyasha.

- Head strait North West and you should be able to pick up her scent. Tell her that her Sesshou-papa asked you to get her and that you will be taking her to the little kitsune of yours. It is all she talks about since that day she met him, said Sesshoumaru and Kagome could see a faint blush on the lord's cheeks.

- I will find her and do as you have asked me niisan, said Inuyasha and patted his brother's shoulder.

Before Sango could react she was left alone with Sesshoumaru. "I can't fucking believe it, they just left me?!!" she snarled and tried once again to get up from his grip but he just pulled her tighter to his masculine form.

- Be still Sango-chan, you are not fully healed yet, he stated firmly.

- Like I care right now!!

Sesshoumaru growled when he smelled her blood again. Her struggling had made a wound to be re-opened and he pushed her to the ground and sliced her slayer suit with a razor sharp claw and pushed the textile away from her wound.

- Are you crazy?!! shouted Sango and craned her neck to look at Sesshoumaru.

- Be still.

Sango stopped her struggling when she heard his menacing voice and she looked down onto the wounds. One of the slashes had re-opened and she frowned. It looked very bad from her point of view and she felt fear rise inside her soul. And the whole situation did not get any better when Sesshoumaru began lapping at her injury like he had done yesterday.

Sesshoumaru bit back a ferocious growl when he smelled her fear laced with arousal. His demonic blood craved to have her, but she was injured and he would not do anything that could be a threat to her very life at this state. He was pleased to feel her form freeze under his ministrations. If he had too he would have bound her to the ground just so that she would be still. But it seemed unnecessary now that she actually lay stiff as a board. "Too bad, it would have been a sight indeed." He snickered and continued to lap up the blood from her side. Her powerful life force went straight to his head, making him a bit dizzy and his inner demon raged against its chains. It wanted to claim her on the spot.

- I think it will do for now. But you need to be still for my saliva to work properly, said Sesshoumaru and lifted his head from her body.

Sango blushed deep and made a muffled sound. She didn't have the courage to say anything right now.

- Have you finished your meal Sango-chan?

- H-hai…

- Good, come I will take you to get a bath, he said and lifted her gently from the ground.

- W-what..?

- There is a hot spring inside the cave. I have been here several times before with Rin, she just loves this place so I take her here as often as possible, said Sesshoumaru with a genuine smile.

But when they reached the hot spring Sesshoumaru began to undress her and Sango panicked again. She slapped his hands away from her body but he would just growl and continue his task.

- NO!! You will not undress me demon, she spat venomously.

- You are injured Sango-chan, you need help, he shot back with the same intensity.

- No, I can managed, I call if I need you.. she tried pleading with him instead.

He shook his silvery head in response. "Fuck, fuck." She cursed and sought for new solutions.

- Turn around then, I will undress my self and get into the water?

- No, we will do this my way or I will come into the bath with you!

"The asshole would probably do it too." she thought and closed her eyes. There was no way she could win against him, not in an injured state anyway. But as soon as she was healed she would kick his fucking butt, that was a promise.
