Chapter 2

A/N: Hold on can we take a break. Like a three year break.

Era: What?

A/N: I hate this story.

Era: Do it for me. Come on A I mean show some compassion.

A/N: I want to change it to a Sess/Kag pairing. Can't you let me do that? I don't like Naraku that's why I always kill him in my stories.

Era: Look all you have to do is write this story for me. It's not like you're doing anything bad. Besides Naraku can't wait to show his face.

A: You're my friend and all but I really don't like the stories you write.

Era: ………… (Just stares)

Kag: Would you two get on with the story I would like to finish this. I have more chapters to star in.

Nar: Like with me for instance.

A: Why are you just popping up out of nowhere?

Era: Let's have a party while she's typing. (Turns on the CD player.)

Nar: You care to dance Kagome.

Kag: As long as you don't touch my butt I'll accept.

A/N: On with the story peoples.

Chapter 2

Kagome woke up feeling good. She could smell food cooking which meant Sango was going to cook breakfast today. She opened her eyes slightly and frowned at the site. Kikyo was cooking breakfast and Inuyasha was watching her as closely as he can. He took a deep breath a told Kikyo, “Mmm. That smells good.”

Kikyo formed a slight smile and Kagome got jealous quick. She was about to get up and smack her to oblivion but something in the back of her head told her no. She closed her eyes and felt Kilala snuggle into her. She was about to smile if it wasn't for the two old love birds.

Kagome loved Inuyasha but when she turned 17 she realized he would only see her as a reincarnation of Kikyo. Kagome didn't talk to Sango anymore like she used to in her teens because ever since Miroku confessed his love for her they have been hard to separate. That's the only reason why she spends so much time with Kilala because she forgets about her most of the time. Kilala spends most her time with Kagome anyway. Kagome remembered how she started following her and mewling at her for attention till this day.

“Kilala where's Sango?” Kagome asked looking worried. Kilala was in her big fanged form and growled at her limping slightly to the left. “You're hurt! Sango?”

Sango's shoulder had a big gash in it and Kagome immediately ran to her and began wrapping the wound up. She then turned to look at Kilala and noticed she wasn't standing on her hind right foot.

Kagome went to the wounded demon and touched the hind leg, when Kilala growled in pain Kagome smiled at her. “Don't worry Kilala, I got something for that but first can you transform back to your other form?” Kilala transformed and limped towards Kagome. She waited for Kagome to have Sango securely on her back before mewling at her. Kagome smiled and lifted the demon cat off the ground. “Let's get back to camp.”

Kagome nuzzled the back of her neck and earned a little purr of delight from the small demon.

When Kagome got back to camp she laid Sango down then said, “Miroku she can use some assistance. Redress her wound for me while I handle Kilala's.”

Miroku smiled and walked over to Sango taking off the bandage to put another one on. Kagome walked to her pack bag and took a white roll out. She laid Kilala gently on the ground, gently grabbed her right hind leg and wrapped it slowly. After wrapping she fed her and let her sleep with her for the next three weeks until it was healed.

From that point on Kagome always fed, played, bathed, and talked to Kilala. She never missed Sango at all while talking to her ever. Kagome smiled and brought Kilala into a small hug and rubbed their noses together causing Kilala to mewl lowly. Shippo woke up after Kilala calmed down.

“Kagome I'm hungry.” He said opening his eyes slowly. Kagome shifted her attention to the little fox demon and smiled. “Okay.”

She got up quickly without Inuyasha noticing until she was gathering two pots. Inuyasha smiled at her and said, “Kagome you don't have to make breakfast. Kikyo has made some for everyone.” Kagome rolled her eyes and said, “I don't eat corpse food and neither do they. Come on Shippo! Want to help me with breakfast?”

Shippo jumped happily because he usually tasted how the food was when it was done. “Yes.”

Inuyasha looked at Kikyo and she looked back with emotionless eyes. Within minutes breakfast was cooked and Sango and Miroku woke up when Kagome was just finishing. They went over to Kagome's food and chatted like Inuyasha and Kikyo weren't even part of the group. Then Kilala came up to Kagome and mewled at her.

Kagome then smiled warmly at her and put a bowl on the ground that only Kilala liked which was only the only dish she ever ate. (Era: It's supposed to say Liver and Fish dish. A/N: Who cares?)

After breakfast everyone helped pack up camp except the two old love birds. Kagome appointed tiny mission for Kilala and Shippo and smiled and hugged every time they completed it. When everyone was ready to go they started to walk towards the next jewel shard Kagome sensed.

A/N: Watch if you die. This thing is going to be changed to a Sess/Kag fic.

Era: That's not going to happen since I'm healthier than you.

Kag: Can I type this time?

Era: No. The next chapter is about your beloved.

Kag: You mean Naraku?

Era: Exactly.

A/N: Don't worry Kagome she's just sick in the head. Sesshoumaru is your beloved.

Sess: This Sesshoumaru will not stick around to read this story. It disgusts me.

Kag: But…

Sess: You going after Naraku are a disgrace to all women on this earth.

Nar: What's so bad about me?

(Everyone just stares at him. Then laughs.)

A/N: That was a good joke…I haven't laughed like that in ages.

Era: Me too. Now on with the reviews. If you don't like my story go up.

Kag: You two are weird. How in the world can you call yourselves best friends?

A/N: I don't know.

Sess: I wish I can kill all of you to end this foolishness.

Everyone (except Sess): Whatever.
