Chapter 11

 

 

Snowysess: You are so lucky we are best friends.

 

Era: I said I'm sorry.

 

Snowysess: Oh like I'm going to believe that! I bet you planned it!

 

Era: Duh! I planned it.

 

Snowysess: Whatever can I write the story now?

 

Era: Sure just to make you feel better I'll help create your Enemies After Her story.

 

Snowysess: Thanks who should I pair Kagome with?

 

Era: Naraku.

 

Snowysess glares.

 

Era: I was just playing. Maybe Koga or Bankotsu.

 

Snowysess: Bankotsu is dead.

 

Era: Make sure he comes back alive then.

 

Snowysess: No I'm not going to listen to you. What do you guys think? Inuyasha, Sesshoumaru, Koga, Naraku, Bankotsu, or her best friend Vincent? Pick one if you even read my new story.

 

Era: Anyway let's type mine while they're deciding.

 

 

Chapter 11

 

 

Kagome walked onto the road with quickness. A few hours ago she and Naraku left her house and she came back to this time to get the last few shards. She made sure she scrubbed herself so Naraku's scent will only be smelt in you're in physical contact with her. Sota wanted to see Koga so Kagome promised he'll be with her when she came back. Naraku left her alone when they came back. He said that he had business to take care of so he wouldn't see her for a week. That gave Kagome enough time to get the last few shards and get Koga to her time.

She sighed as the sun blazed down onto her. It was hot, very hot. It was hard to walk, she even had to bring sunglasses from her time. She wore a black mini skirt, black sleeveless shirt, and some flat black shoes. She left Kilala to rest she would come back and get her later on in the week if it called for it. Kagome also had to pay a visit to Sango, because of her she had to go get Shippo from Sesshoumaru. She was heading there now to give Shippo some candy. Chocolate will melt in this kind of heat and she felt as though summer sucks.

She was almost to Sesshoumaru's castle but walking it will take a few hours. Kagome stretched a bit and yawned. She then took out her ipod and just started listening to songs as the summer breeze lifted her hair.

 

 

Naraku felt a very strange tension between Kagura and Kanna. Kagura couldn't stand the site of Kanna and always looked like she wanted to kill her. Naraku then asked if there was a problem and Kanna just smirked and this was the first time he saw her smirk. He didn't like it so he smacked it off her face. That happened as soon as he arrived at his dark castle. He will remove the wind tunnel from the monk tonight. He promised Kagome and he smelt her friend Sango in his dungeon. Yoki's scent was mixed with hers and apparently he mated with her. Naraku smiled at this as he thought about it.

He shook his head and thought of what Kagome told him. She's on the hunt of her friend because of she didn't look after the kitsune properly. He almost laughed at the situation.

Yoki told him that the monk and one of his friends were looking for him trying to stop him from mating with Kagome. Basically he already mated with her except he didn't eternally mark her. He marked her but it wasn't permanent. He could tell the smell was disappearing.

Collecting himself he went down into the dungeon to see the demon slayer. She was there in the corner with her knees closed up to her chest and her arms wrapped around her. When she saw him getting closer she opened her eyes with an evil stare. “Naraku why have you captured me? I didn't do anything to interfere with your mating ritual with Kagome.”

Naraku narrowed his eyes and thought Yoki talked too much. “Wench shut your mouth! I captured you for another purpose too, but you soon find out for what.” He pulled out a collar.

Sango tried to back up only to be already hitting the cold solid brick wall. “Get away from me!” she yelled as loud as she could.

Naraku was getting a headache and he already was getting weak as the night closed onto him. “Shut up! I'm just going to put this around your neck so you can walk around the castle, but you can not leave.” His anger was getting the best of him. He wanted to know more about Sango's friendship with Kagome that's the second reason but he won't be able to do that if she won't cooperate.

It was all silent as he put the collar around her neck. He respected Yoki but not much so he wouldn't harm his mate. Especially since Kagome still had feelings for her as a friend he doubted that Kagome would have the heart to hurt her once friend. He backed up and took a deep breath. He released the chains that chained her to the wall. Sango just didn't move and he got irritated.

He went back upstairs and came back with Nami Kagura's personal servant. “You are now her personal servant including Kagura's. Make sure you explain everything about this castle and get her some new kimonos.” He walked away while she bowed and looked at Sango.

Sango just silently stood up. She didn't eat for a whole day and Yoki never came back after the second round of having sex. “Milady please follow me.” Nami said with a small bow.

Sango smiled and said, “Your name is Nami right?”

She nodded and said, “You are Yoki's new mate. I was hoping he chooses me but I guess it wasn't destined to be.”

Sango's smile dropped and she all of a sudden felt guilty. Nami seemed to be sweet. She looked closely at her and saw that she had light blue hair with green eyes. She had a light blue tail with spots on it. She seemed to look like she was just above fifty years old. She had her hands nervously at her sides. She had light green nail polish and a light green hair clip in her hair. Her kimono had patterns on it of a sheer freesia that was green and blue and she had on light brown sandals. She seemed so young!

“How old are you?” Sango asked with curiosity.

“In human years 16. Demon years 48.” She said with her head low with depression.

Sango patted her back and said, “Well lead the way.”

She blushed and Sango guessed she forgot about what Naraku told her. “Okay.” She said shakily.

 

 

 

Miroku and Tiera arrived the well late afternoon. Tiera sniffed the air and said, “Some people were here recently. You said this Kagome smells like vanilla correct?”

Miroku nodded his head. “Do you smell her?”

“Yes it's faint but I smell her. She was here this morning and someone else was with her. I don't know who though. It seems they came out of this thing together.” She sniffed the well.

Miroku shivered and said, “Which way did Kagome go?”

“Kagome went…hold on.” She sniffed the ground and caught a scent of her heading west. “She seems to be heading west.”

Miroku nodded and said, “We will stay here until morning and start going after her. I'm hungry and I feel dirty.” Miroku dropped his staff and sat down having his back against the well. Tiera just stood there and stared at him. “I thought you were hungry.”

“I am. I'm going to rest before I go hunting for a lizard or something. I can't think straight when I'm exhausted.” He was shaking his hands defensively in the air.

Tiera just sighed and sat down next to him making sure there weren't anybody there first. They sat quietly for a bit until Tiera put her hand on his cursed one. “Miroku I'll be with you until the end, understand.”

Miroku gripped the grass a bit while Tiera gripped his hand tightly in hers. She could feel the small wind coming from his cursed hand. Miroku didn't know what to do. Tiera was like his childhood friend he couldn't see her being his wife or mate or whatever but soon he will try. He turned toward her and he felt her lips crash down onto his, sending electric shocks through his body. He turned more to get in a comfortable position as the made out with the minutes flying past them.

 

Kagome reached Sesshoumaru's castle just before sundown. It was amazing really, she didn't take any breaks. She ate while she walked and she even used her miko powers to levitate her above the ground so she could rest her feet for a bit. She entered the front garden and saw the guards just staring at her. Was it something on her face? Kagome wiped her face once and thought she was just being paranoid.

Sesshoumaru walked out looking beautiful as ever. She heard from the earlier villages that he is trying to court someone but they don't know who. His emotionless face changed into a slightly relieved and happy look. He always did that around Kagome because she the one that changed him. He still hated Inuyasha with a passion but he didn't mess with him as long as Kagome didn't know.

“Kagome nice to see you.” He said firmly in his usual clam voice.

“I heard you're trying to court someone. Is it true?” she asked with a glint in her eyes.

Sesshoumaru knew when she gets like that she's excited and doesn't care about what your real answer is but he answered her anyway. “Yes. I'm looking for a proper mate.”

“Good to hear that. I'm so happy for you! I came here to see Shippo.” She changed the subject. Sesshoumaru nodded. He figured that much that Kagome would want to see the kitsune. He doesn't know how she puts up with him. He took a sniff of her and realized she smelt exhausted. She was trying to hide her tiredness but he could smell it easily. That's one thing he learned about Kagome. If she was hurt in anyway she wouldn't tell you until you address the issue clearly. She also had a temper that can destroy others around her and many times he saw the bad side of her when he fought her last.

 

Flashback…

 

Sesshoumaru pulled out his poisonous whip and yelled, “Die!” towards Inuyasha. Inuyasha was on the ground in the heap of blood. They were battling for at least two hours and he smelt Kagome's fear and anger. Her anger was overtaken by the fear when he lashed at Inuyasha. Inuyasha was struggling to dodge but couldn't move out the way in time.

Sesshoumaru thought that he hit him and Inuyasha died, but boy was he wrong. Kagome jumped in the way and put a shield around her and Inuyasha. Her eyes were narrowed and a scowl was on her face. She released the shield and stepped toward Sesshoumaru slowly. Anger was clear in her eyes and she stopped a few inches away from his chest. She looked at him with more energy in her veins than anything. Then she slapped him with her miko powers making it sting and causing him to hold his cheek and step back.

“Who the hell do you think you are? Do you think you're better than everybody? What's with the high and mighty shit? I can't believe you will try to kill your own family! The only family you ever have and here you exterminating it!” she screamed at him. She then pulled on his ear and made him bend down to her height. He was so surprised he couldn't do a thing.

A small blue energy ball formed in her other hand and she pulled on his ear like a mother would when their children are in trouble. She then through it like thirty feet away from themselves and it blasted away all the grass and trees died. The orb then grew larger and larger almost at the edge of them. The edge of it touched the ending of his hair and it disappeared at touch. When everything was done it looked like a wasteland then she had a light pink glow from her hand and she through it making everything turn white. When everything was done the grass, trees, and little flowers that it had on the land came back. She then smirked and let go of Sesshoumaru's ear. “You better make sure I never get angry at you.” She lightly tapped my cheek and walked away leaving everyone in awe.

 

 

End of Flashback…

 

 

Sesshoumaru slightly smiled and said, “Shippo is in the back near the dojo. Rin wanted him to practice with her. She's learning martial arts this year.”

Kagome smiled and said, “Good. I'm surprise him meanwhile…I need a bath and need to eat. I ate on the way here but since I was walking way too fast I burned all that energy. My brother Sota still wants to meet you though.”

Sesshoumaru looked down at her and said, “When you go back to your time I'll be with you.”

Kagome jumped up and down and giggled. Sesshoumaru noticed the bracelet on her risk and the necklace. “You are going to keep those?”

Kagome stopped with her excitement and said, “Yep. When you meet my mother do not laugh. I'm leaving at the end of this week and Koga is coming with me. Since you joined in I'll guess both of you won't be able to sleep. I love sleepovers so much that I never come around sleeping until the next day is there or in the afternoon.”

Sesshoumaru raised an eyebrow at her and just shook his head. He had no idea what he was getting into. “Well take a bath and I'll keep Shippo in my site so he won't know you are here.”

Kagome blinked and ran to the bath house that was on the left side, where as the dojo was on the right side. “Thanks Sesshoumaru!” she yelled before going into the bath house.

 

After Kagome was done she came out with a different outfit. It was a camouflage green mini skirt, and a sleeveless camouflage green shirt, and she had camouflage green wrist bands, and she wore the same flat black shoes. She set her stuff down in the main hall next to the door. She ran to the back and appeared through the door. Her hair was in a small French bun because of the hot weather. She had on black stud earrings which matched her outfit completely.

She saw Shippo and everyone stare at her. She smelt of vanilla and looked like a rebel. Sesshoumaru just smirked while everything went silent. He counted to ten in his head. Then said, “One.”

Shippo and Rin ran to Kagome and hugged her. Shippo had tears forming at his eyes and wiped them on his arms. “Kagome! I missed you so much! Sango was mean! Where's Kilala? Kagome!” he rambled on and on. Rin was just happy to see her here. She hardly shows up and if she does show up she only stays for a few hours or a few minutes.

Kagome unattached the growing children. She stood back to look at the children before her. She then took something from her skirt pocket and there were two lollypops in her hand. Shippo was almost as tall as Rin now and Rin was just reaching her preteen years. They were still crazy about candy though. Kagome gave both of them a lollypop and they ran away screaming the flavors they got.

Sesshoumaru walked up to Kagome and said, “What a dramatic entrance.”

Kagome shrugged and said with deepened eyes, “What if I had children? I mean children of my own? I don't know if I'll be a good mother.”

Sesshoumaru wondered what brought this on but answered her. “You will make a great mother. What made you think of that?”

Kagome shrugged her shoulders again and the summer breeze blew. The sun was setting and they could see it going under the horizon. They walked inside and went into Sesshoumaru's room. Kagome didn't want to talk about it while the guards were listening to their conversation.

“I might be pregnant. I did some things that weren't supposed to happen. I lost my virginity to someone that wasn't supposed to be there.” Kagome said somberly as she sat down on Sesshoumaru's bed.

“Who?” Sesshoumaru really didn't care about the losing virginity part but he cared about whom.

“It might sound crazy but Naraku came through the well. Then we…well.” Kagome had tears coming from her eyes like she was cursed for some reason. “I just faked like it was alright. It was like I belonged in his arms. I didn't even get a chance to talk to him about it. He just up and left as we came back to this time.”

Sesshoumaru's jaw tightened as he heard Naraku's name. He really didn't like him and now Kagome was talking about she slept with him. He looked at her face as she just continued to cry to herself.

“I felt so comfortable but then afterwards I felt like I did something wrong. Like I wasn't supposed to sleep with him just yet. My heart kept telling me it was right but then my mind was saying that I need to scrub myself. I feel so dirty.” Kagome looked at him and her eyes had sad written all over them. “I guess you think it's stupid for telling you this.”

No not at all. He just doesn't understand how Naraku would want to sleep with Kagome in the first place. It was wrong. Her soul and body was a pure and nobody shouldn't take that away from her. Sesshoumaru sat down next to her and pulled her into his arms. She was right he still smelt Naraku's scent on her body.

He had a soft spot for Kagome and Rin and that was all it was. He loved Kagome for her thoughts of life. No matter how many times Inuyasha broke her heart Kagome just stood there and let it happen. She wanted what was best for Inuyasha.

“Kagome.” He said to get her attention.

“You are anything but dirty. I understand that you would sleep with Naraku but why would he sleep with you?” Sesshoumaru asked curiosity getting the best of him.

“He wants to be my mate.” Kagome backed away from him and stood up. She wiped her eyes and said with a slight smile, “I'm hungry I'll tell you everything later. Just don't tell Koga. I'll tell him later.”

Sesshoumaru nodded and said, “With this war you are in danger anyway.”

Kagome stuck out her tongue and joked, “Everyone wants a piece of Kagome huh? Well they can come get it and let's see if they can get past my spirit orbs.”

Sesshoumaru shook his head in amusement. “You are one weird woman. If you are pregnant though you should take it easy.”

Kagome nodded her head, “I feel much better after talking to you! Now let's go eat my stomach wants food!”

 

 

Miroku woke up with Tiera in his arms. They made out until they were hungry. After they ate they made out some more and fell asleep in each others arms. He forgot all about Sango until now. She must be worried and looking for them right now. He laughed lightly making Tiera move a bit on his chest. He still couldn't believe Tiera liked him. He always thought she liked Gyro because she wanted to hang out with him more. He looked down at her face and still saw the little demon friend from years ago. His mind wasn't in the right place right now. His one priority was to kill Naraku for putting that vortex in his hand.

His raised his hand to his face and frowned. He couldn't feel the small wind coming from it. He removed it and saw nothing but a normal hand. It was no hole in his hand. It was a miracle. Did Kagome kill him? Or is this a dream?

Miroku gently woke Tiera up. Tiera wiped her eyes but they went into slits when she sniffed. Miroku and Tiera got up to look around. The smell was horrible. It smelt like a bunch of dead bodies put together. Miroku then saw a hint of red and his eyes widened. It can't be!

Tiera extended her claws and her eyes glowed. She waited for Miroku's signal to attack because recently she was just attacking what ever was sensed. Killing it before hand. Miroku saw as Inuyasha and Kikyo came out of the trees. Inuyasha had a saddened look on his face.

“Is Kagome in her time?” he asked.

Miroku then took Tiera behind him and she went into her normal mode. “No. She went to the western lands. I believe to talk to your brother.”

Inuyasha nodded and sighed. He sat down and said to Kikyo, “Go to Keade's I'll be there shortly. I have to talk to Miroku.”

Kikyo nodded and slowly disappeared into the trees and headed towards Keade's. Inuyasha sighed when she was out of smell range. He then looked at Miroku with tears in his eyes. “I can't take this anymore! Someone has to kill her!”

Miroku's eyes widened at his words. “What do you mean?”

Inuyasha shook his head and tears just came out of his eyes like a waterfall. He put his palm of his hand on his forehead. “I can't stand her smell! She's annoying! I even tried to give her a bath but it didn't work! Her body is rotting and she has nothing to do but wait until her body dies! I can't wait that long! I want her dead now! Since I'm obligated to protect her I can't kill her!”

Tiera walked to Inuyasha and put a hand on his shoulder. “I may not know you but I'll do you a favor. I'll kill her for you. By the way I'm Miroku's mate Tiera. What's your name?”

Inuyasha's eyes widened and he looked at her then Miroku. Inuyasha stood up and sniffed and then wiped his eyes. “I'm Inuyasha.”

“Inuyasha. Okay I'll kill her just tell me why she smells like she's the walking dead.” Tiera's eyes glowed.

“She came back to life three years ago by taking part of Kagome's soul. She made me promise to her that I will protect her.” Inuyasha lowered his head.

Tiera always had a thing for sad people so she said softly, “Tell me when and where. I'll end your problems right now if you want me too.”

Inuyasha nodded his head and told her when and where. Tiera and Inuyasha became friends immediately. The only why was because Tiera's sister Nami was just like Inuyasha. They will become friends immediately if they saw each other. Tiera didn't think Nami wants to have a half demon as a mate though. Miroku was going to bury Kikyo and rest her so she'll find peace. As they planned they didn't know someone was watching them.

 

 

“Kanna, that's enough. When they kill Kikyo I will mate Kagome and she will be mine forever. I'll have her heart for sure by then though.” Naraku watched as Kanna left. He still felt something wrong with her though.
