+Day after day time pass away+

Inuyasha laid back in a tree near the bone eaters well, enjoying his surroundings. He sniffed the air noticing the smell of Kagome's wonderful sent filtering through the wind that had sakura blossoms tossing and turning in it.

+And I just can't get you off my mind+

Every waking moment he thought of Kagome. Even in his dreams that he treasured. He jumped out of the tree, discovering that Kagome wasn't far from him. She was laying there in the grass, letting the green blades of nature tickle her delicate body.

+Nobody knows, I hide it inside+

Inuyasha's feelings toward Kagome were always kept secret. He never wanted anyone to know how much he loved her. He loved the way she looked, smelled, and everything else about her. He loves her so much that he would die to protect her!

+I keep on searching but I can't find…+

Inuyasha loved Kagome and no one was going to stop him. He never really thought about it much, but he was truly amazed by her grace personality and what not.

+The courage to show, to letting you know…+

Inuyasha walked up to Kagome, making sure that she didn't know that he was behind her. He looked down, her eyes were closed, and it looked like she was sound asleep. He smiled at her lightly before laying down next to her.

+I've never felt so much love before+

Inuyasha stared into the sky looking at the different types of clouds passing by. Kagome changed her position in her nap, so she was laying on her side facing Inuyasha at her right. Inuyasha took a glace at Kagome from the corner of his eye.

+And once again I'm thinkin' about…+

Kagome's eyes opened slowly showing her beautiful, shiny, brown eyes. She jumped at the sight of Inuyasha. `When did he get here? Did he do anything to me while I was sleeping?' Kagome thought checking her close to see if they were all in the right place. Even making sure they were all there!

+Taking the easy way out+

She looked over to Inuyasha, he was now asleep. `He wouldn't of done anything…would he?' Kagome thought standing up getting ready to leave. She took a nap right next to the well, because she knew she had to study for a test.

+But if I let you go, I would never know, what my life would be…+

When Kagome was about to leave, she looked down once more at Inuyasha. Suddenly his eyes opened! "Were ya going?" He asked in a ready to make sure she's not going home kind of voice. "Inuyasha I have to go back, there is this test that I need to study for…" started Kagome.

+Holding you close to me+

"…and I really need a break from all this shard hunting and…" Kagome trailed off. "And?" Inuyasha said standing up from the ground and walked up to Kagome. "Well…" Kagome was cut off to feel that she was lifted up in the air! Inuyasha swung her over his shoulder and he started to walk towards Keade's village. "You're not going anywhere woman," Inuyasha growled.

+Will I ever see you smiling back at me+

"Let me down Inuyasha!" Kagome screamed pounding her fists into his back. "Hey that hurts you know." Inuyasha said. "LET GO! LET GO! LET GO! LET GO!" Kagome yelled. "Fine, I will." he said throwing her to the ground. "INUYASHAAAAA" Kagome growled. "SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT!" she screamed in his ear, and smile flew on her face.

+How will I know if I let you go+

"Now I'm going to my time and you better not stop me!" Kagome yelled walking towards the well. After about five painful minutes Inuyasha crawled out of the five foot deep whole, and started to run to the well. But he was too late she already left. Inuyasha sat on the edge of the well looking down in it. `Should I go, or should I not go, that is the question.' Inuyasha thought reminding him of when Kagome used to say that all the time, but with different words at the binging.

+Night after night I hear myself say…+

Night after night…no Kagome. `What the heck is taking that girl so long?' he thought paying a visit to the well the sixth time that day. `I can't wait any longer.' he thought as he hopped down the well.

+Why can't this felling just fade away+

When Inuyasha was in Kagome's time, he heard a faint cry. "Someone please let me out." He heard and soon after it seemed like the sound of a fist that hit wood. `It must be Kagome.' Inuyasha thought as he climbed out of the well. `What's she crying about? Hey why should I even be worrying?' he thought.

+There's no one like you+

Inuyasha jumped out of the well and walked up next to Kagome. "What's the matter?" he asked looking around the small shrine house that held the well. Kagome turned around so she was facing Inuyasha. "What…how the heck did you get here?" She asked him a bit frightened. "You where taking to long I decided to see what's up." Inuyasha said trying not to look at Kagome.

+You speak to my heart+

"Well…ummm…you see I was about to go back to your time yesterday. And when I was about to leave I remembered that I forgot my back pack, so I left the well to go get it when the door was locked! It must have locked when I closed it when I came in with my backpack." She quickly said crouching to the floor.

+Its such a shame we're worlds apart+

"Why didn't you just come back to me?" Inuyasha asked. Kagome fell silent. `Why did he have to put the word me in that sentence?' she thought. "I don't know?!" she screamed. "You don't have to yell." Inuyasha said rudely. "Well sorry, Inuyasha!" she yelled. "Well there has to be a reason." Inuyasha smirked. "I didn't feel like it, okay." Kagome said with her face filled with tears.

+I'm too shy to ask, I'm too proud to lose+

"You don't have to cry, you know." Inuyasha said walking back to the well. He turned around to see Kagome on the ground with tears that wouldn't stop coming out smeared all over her face. "Are you coming?" he asked about to hop over the edge of the well. "No…" Kagome said getting up. "No, what do you mean by no?" Inuyasha said turning back to face her. "Inuyasha…" Kagome started.

+But sooner or later I gotta chose+

"I love you…but you didn't have to stomp all over my love just to annoy me!" Kagome screamed. `What did she just say? Did she say that she…loved me? No…no she didn't I don't believe her.' Inuyasha thought walking up to Kagome. "Kagome, do you really mean that?" Inuyasha asked. "Yes." She said leaning her head against Inuyasha's chest.

+And once again I'm thinkin' about…+

`What's wrong with her today? She never acts like this.' Inuyasha thought putting his arms around her, trying to comfort her. "I'm sorry, if I was mean to you." He said trying to make her happy. "Kagome lifted her head to stare in Inuyasha's gold, beautiful eyes. `Awww what am I doing?' Kagome thought jumping away from Inuyasha.

+Taking the easy way out+

"I'm sorry Inuyasha I just don't feel right today." Kagome said backing away from Inuyasha even more. "Its okay Kagome, it wasn't bothering me at all." Inuyasha said walking up to Kagome. "What is wrong with you Inuyasha?" Kagome asked trying to stay away from him.

+But if I let you go, I will never know, what my life would be…+

"Nothing's wrong Kagome." Inuyasha said grabbing her wrist. "Let go Inuyasha!" Kagome yelled trying to pull her wrist out of his grasp. "Inuyasha I said let go?" she yelled finally pulling her wrist back. `Okay now he's scaring me.' Kagome thought running to the well.

+Holding you close to me+

Inuyasha ran after her and grabbed her right before she jumped into the well. Then he pulled her close to him. Causing shivers to run down Kagome's back. "Inuyasha…" she trailed off. Kagome put her guard down which made Inuyasha hold her tighter.

+Will I ever see you smiling back at me+

The two didn't move, they were just frozen to the spot they stood. Kagome felt so great to be in Inuyasha's arms, which caused a small smile to slip onto her face. Inuyasha let go of her so he could face her right on.

+How will I know if I let you go+

And all at once Inuyasha pressed his lips against hers. Kagome was shocked, but knew this was going to happen to her someday but not with Inuyasha. Kagome toke her hands and pressed them on his shoulders to push him back and it worked.

+If I let you go ooooh baby Ooooooooohhhhh+

"Sorry Inuyasha I but I…don't think that I'm really ready for this." She said stepping away from still with her arms out for protection. Inuyasha's ears dropped, he looked so sad. Kagome couldn't help it she walked up to him and kissed him on the cheek lightly.

+Once again I'm thinking about…+

Kagome blushed, her whole face turned red and the same to Inuyasha. They were dead silent for sometime until Inuyasha broke the silence, "I love you too….Kagome." he whispered while he wrapped his arms around her and she did the same to Inuyasha.
