Chapter nine: The midnight date..
*^dream sequence^*
A giant figure, much like Sesshomaru's ogre, appears in a field of flames. It slashes it's surroundings angrily, growling something lowly. "Come- BACK!" it yelled. "COME BACK TO HELL!" It started to charge towards the only living thing left. Ikasha.
*^End of Dream sequence^*
"HUH!" Ikasha took in a deep breath as she jumped from her sleep. She sat up and pressed her hand to her heart to feel its rate beating like mad. She ran a finger across her forehead and felt the touch of cold sweat. "Was- Was that just a dream?" she asked herself, getting up. She was in a sleeping yukata decorated with Zs. She walked over to the door of her room and grabbed a towel that was hanging up next to it. "I think I need to drown my dreams.." she said, walking out of the palace/shrine.
As she made her way across the lawn, she watched the moon. 'Ah, the great lonely moon.. You are but a wedge in the sky, and yet you are so beautiful..' she complimented silently. She treaded along and finally made it to the hot spring, when she saw him. 'Konami?' she thought, with a smirk. 'I think I'll give him a little fright.. hee hee hee..'
She hopped into the weeping willow that was next to the lake and called his name. "Ko-na-mi!" Konami jumped.
"YAH! Who's there?!" he yelled, glancing around in alert. He heard giggling and turned around at the insult 'Idgiot!'
"Ikasha! HI!-" he said, beginning to get up, but sat back down remembering he was not descent. "Do you MIND not SPYING on me while I'm drowning my dreams?! HUH!?" he asked. Ikasha blushed.
"H-hey! I wasn't spying on you! Wait, no, I came here all this way, in the middle of the night I remind you, just because I KNEW you were going to take a bath so I could spy on you! YOU ARE SUCH A BAKA!" she yelled, blushing even more. Konami pouted.
"You don't WANT to spy on me?" he said, puckering his lip. Ikasha's face turned blood red and Konami howled in laughter. "HAHAHA! You are so cute when you're caught in a trap!" he exclaimed. He stopped laughing and whipped a tear from his eye. "Ah, anyways, why are you here, my dear Ikasha? Smell that bad?" he smirked.
Ikasha clenched her fists. "No- you- baka- I- had- a- bad- dream-" she said through clenched teeth. Konami looked startled.
"Oh, okay. What about, Koishii?" he asked playfully. Ikasha blushed at the name but shook it off.
"Well, ANATA, I was being searched out in hell.." she said, looking down. Konami looked shocked.. One at the name, two at the dream..
"Same here... Scept it wasn't me, it was still you. I was so worried I went to check on you and then decided to drown my night mares." He explained.
Ikasha nodded. "Well, I guess I should go-" she said, but too late. Konami grabbed her wrist as she turned and pulled her into the water with him. "YAAAAAAAH!!!" she screamed.
Konami started laughing as Ikasha broke surface and glared daggers at him. "Uh-oh." he said, eyes as big as dinner plates. Ikasha formed a fist.
"You better run you, you, YOU-!" she screamed with a smile spreading across her face. She didn't think of a word to call him by, so she just started leaping after the now fully clothed Konami. 'Guess he changed as I was swimming to the surface...' thought Ikasha as she chased. Konami ran up a tree and Ikasha couldn't get him.
"Nyah, nyah, nyah, nyah, nyah!" he teased. Ikasha stomped her foot.
"You come down here!" she ordered. He blinked and shook his head.
"Nah, I don't think I will..." he said, leaning back against the trunk. Ikasha fumed and threw her hands in the air, but then thought of something.
"Fine, I'm leaving." He said, walking away, flipping her hair in the process. 'You can stay up there as long as you want, Konami, but I have the power of seduction...' she thought secretively. Konami watched her swing her hips and drooled a bit.. (A/N: Okay- Maybe he knew Miroku and grew up with him. -.- *sigh* All those perverts.)
He snapped back to reality when she walked out of seeing distance. "NO! IKASHA, COME BACK! I HAVE A SECRET TO TELL YOU!" he said, running after her, now the completely normal half demon he was.
Ikasha turned around and winked. "Yeah, honey?" she asked cutely. Konami smiled.
"You sure you want to know?" he asked as he walked up to her, ready to whisper something in her ear. Ikasha nodded. "Okay then." He said, as he leaned near her left cheek. Their faces where millimeters apart when he kissed her cheek and embraced her into a tight hug. "I love you." He said, and let her go. He kissed her forehead and smiled when he saw the look of surprise on her face.. as well as a nice shade of red. Ikasha brought her hand up to her left cheek and lightly touched it as Konami walked away, waving a goodnight. She waved back and finally got the control back into her legs and walked back to her home.. Still soaked in her sleeping yukata..

Okay, there's the midnight date! Oh so close to their first kiss on the lips, darn it! Even I was mad! Well, next chapter is full of action and romance, cause it's called 'The Demon Inside', BOO YA! (heeheehee, Kim Possible is a good show, but this is Inuyasha, so-) ^_____^ Here's the summary!
NEXT CHAPPIE!:
Can Inuyasha smell suspicion? Can Inu-yasha smell suspicion? No but he can smell Konami on his daughters cheek and he's going wild! Will Ika-sha be able to defend Konami? Who knows because this is a fight worth reading: Father vs. Daughter! Romance and Action lovers alike, here's your chapter!
Hee hee hee, I'm gonna get killed now- this is a really good chapter. And no, it's not written yet, but I got it in a comic form. But that's not finished yet, so even my pals don't know what's gonna happen! MWAHAHAHAHA!
