A/N: Okay, this is my first fanfic. I absolutely adore Kouga and Kagome as a couple, so I decided to right a story about it. Since this is my first fanfic, flames are welcome, as long as they are useful or have some tip or something like that. No reviews like YOUR STORY SUCKED! So, hope you enjoy this first installment!

In Each Other's Shoes

 

Chapter 1:

 

“Kagura,” Naraku called his unwilling servant to him. “Bring me Kanna,” he said when she entered the room. Kagura left without a word and came back a few minutes later with the small albino child.

 

“Leave now,” he ordered Kagura. She exited the room, her face expressionless, like stone. But secretly she was cooking up plans of rebellion in ways to dispose of her evil master.

 

Naraku then turned his attention to Kanna. “Show me Kikyo's incarnate,” he commanded her. He peered into the mirror and saw Kagome leaving the village with the rest of the group. “Now show me the wolf.” In the mirror, he saw Kouga headed in the same general direction. `Heh, good, that meddlesome wolf will soon pick up the girl's scent, and of course he will go to her. The real problem is Inuyasha. He is jealous of the wolf. I have to separate those two from the rest of the group, and then my plan can be put into action,' he thought.

 

“Kagura,” he called her again. When she entered the room, he spoke, “I want you to follow Inuyasha and their little group. Make sure he doesn't pick up you scent. Soon the wolf Kouga will be joining them. Then show yourself. I want you to get the wolf and the incarnate alone. Follow them, and then knock them out.”

 

“Why? What do you have planned?” Naraku inwardly laughed at her futile attempt to know his plans. “Leave now, and make sure you don't get caught while following them.”

 

 

A/N: Ooh, did I leave a cliffy? I always hate it when other authors do that, but now I realize its fun! I promise the next chapter will be longer; this is just to get started out. I have a question for you. Do you know what Sakura's best friend's name in Cardcaptor Sakura is? If you could tell me that would really help out. Please, R&R!
