InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ In the Dark of Night ❯ Author's Message ( Prologue )

Welcome to my newest fan fiction. Before I jump into it I just wanna set a few rules about it.

1) This is an Inu/Kag fic. I'm a die hard fan of the pairing.

2) This is a alternate universe story with a few twists. This idea came from watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer while trying to finish the next chapter in my other fic Time Apart. So I thought why not mix the two into something different?

For those of you who are Buffy fans like myself you will get all the references to the show and to the slayer lore. For those not aware of the Buffy-verse, you guys are the reason why I decided to do this little summary of terms and such.

First of all while this is a crossover of plots there will be no extra powers, but there is the merging of things that are known. Like in chapter one our protagonist is a child of a slayer who is also a descendant of demon slayers and powerful mikos and priests. All slayers in this world have some supernatural abilities and family back ground.

And yes there are the usual internal and external conflicts. There will be romance, angst, action and adventure, just remember things are not always as they seem. While I'm using the Inu Yasha characters in this story, each character doesn't fit the classic mold most AU stories put them in.
