The Arrival

"Where is he?" Kouga said aloud while circling around a clearing. "That mutt's smell is all over this place and yet he's not here!" Kouga yelled out of frustration. All of a sudden he heard a rustle in the trees behind him. Kouga spun around and came face to face with a girl version of Inuyasha. "Who…who are you?" he asked breathlessly.

"That is not important right now," she said seductively. "What really matters is that you have something that I want" she said while putting her hands on his head and looking down, "And I always get what I want!" with that she pulled him into her and gave him a passionate kiss.

"Who can she be?" thought Kouga, being pulled in by her charm and returning the kiss with closed eyes. After a while he felt her right hand drop from his head to the top of his knee. She started to run her fingers gently up his thigh, causing chills to go up and down his spine. Suddenly, he felt a sharp pain in the middle of his left thigh. He opened his eyes to see her smirking as she held up a blood speckled hand. In between two of her long thin fingers was a jewel shard. As Kouga fell to the ground he asked why.

"Why?" she leered. "As I told you before I always get whatever I want." She bent down and kissed his cheek. "Not that I didn't had fun in the process," she whispered handing him a package. "Put this on your wound. It might sting but it will heal faster. As for this," she said while holding up the jewel shard. "I think I just might hold on to it," and with that she put the jewel in her top and walked back in the direction in which she came.

"What just happened?" Kouga thought while holding his wound. He looked at the package. "Could she be trying to kill me?" he thought while holding the package. "Oh well if she is, at least I'll die happy" finishing his thought he opened the package and put the leaves inside on his wound. "Damn!" he yelled out. It did sting him but he could feel his wound closing up. Then he remembered about his other shard. He looked down at his left leg and saw there was no wound. "Maybe she doesn't know about my other shard. Or maybe she does and she's waiting for the right time to get it!" as he thought this he heard crunching of leaves behind him. He turned around in a fighting stance and waited for the new intruder.

"Ahh…Kouga is that you?" Inuyasha asked. "It is you! Ha! I knew I smelled wimpy wolf! What happened to your leg? Did you trip and fall?" laughed Inuyasha at his own joke.

"No I didn't fall! I fell asleep waiting for you to come here and someone tried to attack me!" said Kouga trying to cover up the real story.

"Inuyasha! Where are you?" yelled Kagome.

"Ah..." said Kouga forgetting about the previous events. "I see you brought my woman to me."

"YOUR woman? You must have hit your head when you were attacked because you seem to think these bogus things are true!" yelled Inuyasha.

"Inuyasha there you are! Oh! Hello Kouga! What happened to your leg? You seemed to have scratched it!" Kagome asked empathically. Kouga looked down. She was right; it now looked like a big scar.

"She could have not been evil, why would an evil woman tend to the wounds of her victims?" he thought.

"What are you thinking about?!" Inuyasha asked Kouga. "You better not be planning to take away Kagome!"

"Inuyasha…" Kouga started, "Do you know if you have a sister?"

"What?!" Inuyasha shouted. "All the women in my family that I know of are dead!"

"Well the truth is just a moment ago a young woman carrying your smell came up and attacked me. I want to know if there is any relation." Kouga asked with a serious face.

"Are you kidding me? There is no way I have a sister! I would have known!" Inuyahsa yelled.

"Are you sure about that," came a voice from the treetops. "Inuyasha I waited for this moment for years! Today is the day you die!"

*By the way Miroku, Sango, and Shippou decided to stay behind and leave this fight to Kagome and Inuyasha*
