Chapter 3: Taken away

Meanwhile Sango gave directions, answered questions, and ordered her new official tribe what and how they would set sails in the morning after the battle. Afterwards every one, even the guards went to sleep feeling safe and determined to be the one and only, the great and feared crew of Mistress Sea, Kagome Hiragashi.

A sharp whistle pierced the early morning. Moans and groaning could be heard all over the camp as men, women, and children got up to take a morning bath. Kagome watched as her tribe got up and began to do their morning chores. She saw her pup Shippo stagger out of her tent and immediately collapse. She frowned as she walked to her pup; ` Maybe I woke them up a tad bit early?' She glanced at the sky seeing that even the sun was not even rising she winced `way to early.' She picked up her kit and seeing that everyone was already awake, save her poor pup, she decided to begin the day already. " WOMEN AND CHILDREN BATHE FRIST! THEN THE MEN. HAVE SANGO AND KAEDE COOK FOR EVERY ONE. I'M POSITIVE THEY CAN HANDLE IT." Everyone obeyed Mistress Sea but not before Sango gave her a look that promised pay back. She winked back and Sango growled in answer. She gently scratched Shippo's head and he slowly came around. "Momma?" "Shippo... Do you want to fight? This will be the hardest one. I don't want to lose you. I am giving you this choice. But please be sure of what you choose... tell me later, Kay? Shippo bobbed his head a couple of times in answer (A/N: this means `Yes' people) then hopped to her shoulder with a frown on his small face.

"Damn it! Inuyasha can you find the wench that poisoned you?" Sessohmaru was mad... steaming to be exact. " I already told you her sent is cold from the spot were she was and she has no traces!! What you want me to search by running over trees with the Monk? In case you have forgotten we are still walking forward toward the trap the wench put out!" Inuyasha had refused to rest until he `taught that bitch a lesson' for making a weakling out of him. Inuyasha was just as frustrated. The Devil's spawn left small traces. The night before Miroku had spent all night searching for a cure and had gone as far as the other side of their camping grounds once their he saw a note and a special herb. The note was written by a very sly and commanding person. The type of handwriting was curvy and wavy. He had been taught to read people's ways by how they wrote...if they could write at all. The note itself was very interesting. It had said:

Glad to see that you can't get the better of me. Yet still the battle would not be complete if half of the troops were missing, and with one of their greater strengths weakened. So i will give you the herb that will cure your little spy Inuyasha. We will fight this battle, and we will be in between the midst of war.

The whole thing was a mystery to Sessohmaru, Inuyasha and himself. Yet he being human (Miroku) needed his rest leaving Sessohmaru and Inuyasha to deal with the troubling note. As the sun broke the shimmering darkness of night, Sessohmaru and Inuyasha decided that it was best to get ready with all their weapons and such since they were supposedly going to fight war. As they all began to file into the Mess Tent* only to be greeted by a bloody scene. "Wha-h...h...who could of done this?" Inuyasha openly gaped " There's no unknown sent in the tent we heard nothing and this is impossible-" Sango quietly slipped out of her hiding spot to be a few feet behind the hanyou. "Ever heard of `Expect the unexpected?'" Sango raised her boomerang bone and threw it to him hitting him in the back of his head. She hadn't expected him to drop like lead as humans did but she did expect him to see swirly spots for a moment or two. Sango wasn't disappointed with his reaction seeing him fight to maintain control she shifted her gaze to Sessohmaru. "My Mistress is to fight you. And only you. And You only Her." Sessohmaru raised a single eyebrow, " Oh? And is suppose this is just over a little grudge that she has-" "I have no grudges against you Sessohmaru. Let's call it a little...mis understanding. My people came or found me due to you. You and something called bloodlust. Either that or simply the hate of humans." It took a few seconds for Sessohmaru to realize she wanted a response, due to the fact that she was wearing a long, green and blue, kimono that was slit at the sides up to her mid-thigh, with designs of a dark blue sea serpent outlined in black. With her hair in a tight bun you clearly saw her face. She wore no types of paint. (A/N: Yanno cosmetics*) She had black pants and a long sleeved shirt under her kimono (A/N: you can see this due to the fact that the kimono has slits at the legs and the kimono is short sleeved) she also wore the cloth-like shoe. (A/N: What Sessohmaru wears) "It is true that I do hate all humans. And have slain several villages and other traveling groups that have entered my territory. Sometimes i let the weakest go, as a way for them to tell their other human companions and for them to not repeat the mistake twice. Why have you come to try and destroy me and my troops? Clearly you do not understand the reason why we are here. Don't worry i won't let you down. Only one thing Mistress. One thing. Instead of both of our troops fighting against each other why not let it be a leader thing? Hm? Winner gets to choose something from the Loser." Sessohmaru was clearly bored out of his wits and wanted to fight with someone or something. He had also noticed a similar crave in her sent. Her sent was sweet yet cold. It smelled like Jasmine and Sakura flowers. It had surprised him that she uncovered her sent and had decided to not let it be hidden. "Hm...So you are saying that this be a one on one duel?" She looked sort of eager at the idea. "Precisely." "Agreed. It'll be very interesting." She grinned " But of course the winner has to claim a prize and besides that they claim the prize at the end. Can't tell until very last part so neither of us can back out...just to make sure." Sessohmaru had to give into the small predatory grin. This girl's mind was acute but she wasn't going to be happy when she found out that his prize was to take her as a slave until she earned her freedom...if he even considered it then. Kagome began to take of her outer kimono so she was only wearing the black skintight clothing underneath. Sessohmaru raised an eyebrow she was taking of her kimono leaving this clothing that was like second skin... `What is she thinking?' Kagome then asked Sango to make a ring on the ground with her boomerang bone. Once Sango did so Kagome stepped inside. Sessohmaru leaped in side somewhat showing of to the human bystanders. Kagome met Sessohmaru's eyes without blinking at all. They stared and finally Sessohmaru tired of waiting ran towards her raising his hand full of venom, he saw Kagome simply turn to her left Sessohmaru nearly going of balance until Kagome grabbed his metal spiked thing and twisted to her right, going down on one knee. Sessohmaru went flying but he refused to be embarrassed by a simple wench so he landed upright and neatly at the other side of the ring. He then ran forward to met her waiting fist that plummeted his upper chest breaking his metal spiked protector thing. Several snickers from the humans could be heard and many growls from the demons. Sessohmaru used this simple moment to grab Kagome's wrists and lift her up above him ready to throw her down and make her feel 10 times the pain he had felt. (Witch was*n't* much *actually it was he had seen her arm muscles bulge and junk very harsh*) To his surprise Kagome instead of panicking stepped on his back (A/N: Yanno like doing the bridge over someone's head) and grabbed his writs in return piercing her nails witch were incredibly sharp into the soft tendon of his writs. He hissed and she chuckled finally he let go deciding that it was time to use his sword he yanked it out and raised it over his head. Unfortunately he hadn't expected to see Kagome pull out twin swords that were made to block and stab at the same time. The swords were regular but with a second blade (A/N: those things that you stab with) that came up to half of the first blade witch was twice the length of the second one. (A/N: All of you Blade of the immortal readers think Manji's swords) They looked all rusted and ruined when she pulled them out but as she raised them to block by crossing them over they changed to their true form. The left blades were 12 inches long and the right blade was 6 inches long the would curve at the tip so it was harder to yank out and harder to block. The hilt had strange looking serpents on them there was a circle at the base and top of the hilts. Kagome crossed the swords and raised her swords, three swords met in a lout clang of metal Kagome instantly broke away both swords pointing down at either side of her. She ran forward somewhat sideways with both swords pointing behind her Sessohmaru was amazed at how fast she could run, usually humans were slow and weak but this one, this one was very different, contradicting everything he thought about humans. Sessohmaru shoved his sword to his side as to block her swords from cutting him but instead on of the blades hooked onto his sword's hilt and yanked it making fly and land 3 feet out of the ring close to Inuyasha. He angry that she had soiled his sword jumped away to buy some time and space he raised his left hand to begin to make his demon whip once complete he noticed that she was doing the same attack again. `Fool' Sessohmaru thought as he used his whip to easily snap both of her swords out of her hands reach. She then bowed her head and bent at her waist Sessohmaru was aghast He thought she was going to fight to the finish. He was not disappointed. As she bowed she threw 12 small daggers in Sessohmaru's direction 3 hit mis left arm 5 his chest and 1 his right leg and 3 pierced his left leg. Sessohmaru couldn't smell any poison or any difference to the daggers yet he was going to end this fight and end it now. With a snap his whip he wrapped it around her wrist and yanked harshly. She stumbled and fell hitting the hard packed ground positive that she was going to have bruises on her belly, hips and legs. "I win. You are to be my prize as a slave. Your first new task. Get up" Sessohmaru said this in a cold, harsher way than before. Kagome narrowed her eyes before slowly getting up. "You will obey only who i tell you. If you wish to do something you must tell me before you can. You will be stripped from your weapons by Inuyasha." Sessohmaru grabbed her hair and threw her in Inuyasha's direction he half expected her to fall but instead she stood on her feet face to face with Inuyasha. He grinned "...Finally get my revenge. Gets some chains for the bitch." As Miroku hurried away smiling lustily to get the chains that his second in command had ordered for. He returned quickly and yanked the girl's arms to place them behind her and to clasp her wrists. As he began to slide his fingers up her arms he received a strong backward kick from Kagome and a boomerang bone `whack' from Sango and a faint from Miroku . Kagome he
