Sessohmaru waited for Kagome, his new and only slave as he let Rin run around picking flowers. He had smelled the two thunder brothers. And if Kagome didn't defeat them Inuyasha would. So he had not found a reason to stay. Although he now yearned to see Kagome again he did not let his mask slip. Not even around a small child.

As Kagome flew she was remembered of the reason she had sought out Sessohmaru. The death of her father…her human father. The death of her crew's families. The destruction of their homes. Their pain and agony. She would not loose a second time.

Sessohmaru braced himself for the appearance of the ningen he was beginning to fall for. Instead he was greeted by a different female. A female with the same sent yet a different appearance. She stood tall, before him. Glaring into his eyes. Boring into them. His eyes strayed from hers as his eyes sought out what the rest of her looked like. Very well filled out, with long legs. Black purplish hair sought to get out of their bonds as her fury wings folded to hide behind her. Her markings marked her as one of the sea. Sessohmaru had not seen any creature like this female. He was astonished that such a thing was in his grasp. Unfortunately Rin came up and tugged on the Kagome's hand ruining the moment for both the enraged and the surprised. "Can the lady play with Rin? Pleeeease? Pretty please? What is the pretty lady's name? Why is she here? Do you want to be Rin's new friend?" Rin asked curiously. Kagome's anger slowly went away as she realized this was the great cold tyrant's adopted pup. "I'm Kagome. I am here because I was called to be here. I would love to be Rin's friend. But I also brought you a friend that is the exact age you are." Rin grinned at Kagome's answer as she noticed that the lady had answered almost every question. "Can the pretty lady play with Rin?" Kagome grinned in return. "I'm not sure. We both have to have permission." This only reminded her of the reason why she was here. "Rin let go of me for a moment. I have to transform back alright?" Rin nodded frantically and slowly let her go. Kagome was then surrounded by a soft pink aura as her troop came to a halt behind her appearing from the trees. As the pink aura slowly collected at her chest she now had the same appearance as a female ningen. "Were will my troops stay and rest, Lord Sessohmaru?" Kagome clearly did not like having to submit to anyone. Most of all, the one she was supposed to defeat. "They can have the spare rooms in the palace. Rin you may play with the lady once she is settled. Rin show the troops were their rooms will be." Rin nodded and gave him a toothy grin as she ran up to Sango and grabbed her hand. "Come on! I can't wait to show you the rooms. Rin has never had so many people come here. Only demons come here and Jaken doesn't like me so he treats me bad." Sango let her self be led away when her mistress nodded. The rest of the troop followed suit of what Sango did. As Kagome's troops entered the castle, Inuyasha and Miroku came by. "Oi! Sessohmaru I don't want to have to baby-sit that wench of yours. She's yours not mine. And I still need my revenge." Inuyasha's face was filled with dislike towards Kagome. Kagome in return slightly turned her face in Inuyasha's direction. "And exactly what makes you think you will receive this `revenge' of yours? What makes you think I will allow it?" Kagome whispered. Inuyasha snarled and ran towards other parts of the western lands. "What about you?" Kagome whispered to Miroku. "Aren't you going to follow Sango or Inuyasha?" Miroku visibly blushed as he realized that he had been caught in what he had been thinking. "Er….right…um …I have to …go." Miroku then briskly walked into the castle every now and then his left arm twitching. Throughout all these conversations Kagome had not moved. Sessohmaru had also not been distracted by anyone besides Rin. "Well, Master. Were shall I rest? What shall I do? Will I serve you only for a matter of days before you choose to kill me? Only to be taunted by me, once my wound heals?" Kagome spat. Sessohmaru raised a single eyebrow. "What makes you think I will kill you? I can't loose the slave that was the feared Mistress Sea. Your room will be a small room joined to mine. I will have you do many of the things I do not have time to do. Also you will take care of all the things that my other servants did before you came. Come. I will show you your room." Sessohmaru walked away not glancing once in her direction. Kagome growled at his back, as she did so several hot springs in Sessohmaru's castle made huge waves and splashed upon the banks. Sessohmaru had also noticed the effect Kagome had on anything with water. *Hm…maybe she could teach Rin a thing or two. And maybe she will be a good enough opponent for me to spar with.* Sessohmaru was deep in thought of how to keep his new and growing feelings in check yet being able to annoy the vixen off even more. There was more than one reason why he had left Hinten and Manten to Kagome and Inuyasha. "Your room is the one joined to mine. Leave your things inside, you must take care of Rin." He glanced back as he noticed she had failed to respond back. His eyes met electric black as Kagome made a lay-out of the castle grounds from the inside. Once she was finished she noticed that Sessohmaru was staring at her. "Something amiss, Sir?" Her eyes visibly flashed in annoyance and changed back to her fiery eyes. Sessohmaru refused to respond only gestured with his hand for her to go into her room, and went into his room. Once Kagome entered her room she closed the hallway door and locked it. Her hand sparkled slightly with her Sea abilities. She then waved her hands in the directions of her packs and whispered "Put the clothes away." The packs opened themselves at her command and the clothes folded them selves to fit into what Sessohmaru had given her. She inspected the room…now her room. "Humph."
