Hello again! Sorry it took so long to get this out but my computer
is a pain in the ass. I hope you like this chapter!
In The Mirror: Chapter one. It starts

"Damn that bitch, she's late again." I say as I pace around the well. The others are sitting under a tree next to the well watching me like I'm their pray. I know their going to start yelling at me for being impatient with her again, but I can't help it. She has a job to do here and for once I wish she would do it right. Me being mad at her has nothing to do with the fact that I miss her when she's gone. Nothing at all. I just want to find all the jewel shards befo re N araku dose. Yeah, that's right.
"Inuyasha please, she's ten minutes late. That no reason to call her names" Said Miroku as he came up next to me. The wind blew harder that day then the days before. I should have taken that as a bad sign to begin with. But not me, oh no, I was as blind as a bat back then.
But not to everything.
I did see the way that Kagome would look at me every once in awhile. And the way she would blush when she saw that I saw her looking. It was cute in the beginning when she first started looking, but then it became annoying. What was she looking at in the first place? I thought it was normal for a human female to start looking at other males that she'd been with for awhile. I mean, most human girl that I knew of her age were already mated, or married as the humans call it, and had at lest one pup and were working on another one. Kagome hadn't had the time to look for a suitable mate and the clock in her body was telling her that it was time to settle down and have a pup or two.
The fact that she was looking at me like that was, like I said, cute in the beginning. I expected her to come to her senses after awhile and finally see that she was looking at a hanyou, but she never stopped looking. Then it became annoying. She was giving me false hope that when this was all over that there might be something between us. But there was no way for that to happen. We are from different worlds, there's no way we could be anything more then friends. Besides, I have other...obligations that I have to take care of. Not to mention some still lingering feelings for that obligation.
''Kagome!'' Came the voice of Shippo from behind me. I turned around and sure enough, there she was climbing out of the well, and as always when I first see her after a few days I have to stop to look her overto make sure she's got everything she said she was going to bring of course. She was eighteen now, so she didn't ware that 'school uniform' anymore. She was always in 'jeans' or 'shorts' as she called them. Today she had on a pair of 'jeans' and a shirt that looked like mine only it was blue. She looked kinda cute. Wow! Where did that come from? She's not cute! She's my jewel detectorshe's not aloud to be cute.
Damn it, I need to learn how to lie to myself.
'' Hi S hippo'' She said as she hugged him. Last year he had gone through a growth sprit and now came up to Kagome's waste. I'll never forget the look on her face that morning when she woke up and saw Shippo looking down at her. At first she didn't recognize him so she started yelling for me. Shippo at the time didn't know was as going on so he started screaming along with her. I jumped out of the tree I was in and jumped in between them, and they both launched them selves at me. So I had Kagome on one side asking who that was and Shippo on the other side asking me why Kagome was afraid of him. That's when Kagome took a good look at him and finally saw it was Shippo.
She asked what was going on and why Shippo was as tall as Souta. So I had to explain how youkai, unlike humans, go through growth sprits. Instead of growing two or three inches a year, they grow five to six inches over night. At lest I did, but I'm only half youkai and Shippo was full, so he grew a full foot taller. So she apologized to Shippo for making him sad and he for scaring her, and then life went on.
''Hello Inuyasha.'' She said coming up next to me.
''You're late.'' Is all I say back to her. I hear her sigh.
'' I know Inuyasha, and I'm sorry but I promised Souta that I would play a new game that he just got with him, and before I knew it I lost track of the time. Forgive me?'' She asked, giving me those damn puppy eyes. Somehow I think she knows what she's doing when she dose that, cause I can never say no when she dose, of course I'll never tell her that.
'' All right, but just this once. Do n't let it happen again got it?'' I tell her trying to sound as mad as I can, but obviously, since she's smiling at me, it didn't work.
''Thanks Inuyasha.'' She says as she takes my hand in hers. A year ago I would have taken it back, but I learned that as long as I keep up the mad face nobody give me any shit about it. And I get to hold her hand, so it works both ways.
'' Alright guys, we've wasted en ough time here. Let's head out.'' Everyone agreed with me, like they always should, and we headed out.
I really wish that we would have stayed in the village that night.

It's FINALLY done! My computer is fixed now, and I've discovered the power of WordPad, and I love it! Its WAY better then Notepad.^^ Anyway I hope you like this chapter! And if you do please review!
