Well well well, I'm just a little typing maniac this week aren't I? Heehee, anyway hope you like this chapter.

In the Mirror: Chapter seven. Getting her back.

The wind blew my hair into my face as we faced off. It was just me and him, and Kagome in the middle. That was my only problem. She was passed out in his arms, and there was no way that I could attack him with her there. I guess there's one thing I could do for now.

 

`'Okay, you have Kagome, but what the hell did you do with Shippo? Do you have a partner hiding out here somewhere?'' Maybe if I can distract him long enough Sango or Miroku could get a hit on him from behind and I could get Kagome away from him.

 

Fuck I hope the kits alright; Kagome will never forgive me if something's happened to him.

 

`'I have no idea what your talking about hanyou, if you've lost another one of your companions then that would be your own stupidity.'' Great, he don't smell like he's lying, so what the hell happened to the brat?

 

Now I can't sense the jewel shards like Kagome can, but I didn't need to too notice that the one in his forehead flickered red. His eyes unfocused for a secant, and I used that secant to attack.

 

Obviously he doesn't need his eyes focused to doge an attack because by the time I got to where he was standing he was already behind me. When I turned around his eyes were focused again and he was frowning; now that's unusual for him, but it might be good for me.

 

That's when I smelled something that would forever be imprinted in my nose, Kagome's arousal. Kagome was horny. And that was supposed to be me she's thinking about?

 

That's it; if I die right after I get her back, then it'll be with a smile on my face.

 

`'Sorry hanyou, I'd love to keep this little game of ours going but I have more important things to do today.'' I take that `might be good for me' line back.

 

`'I don't think so pail, your not going anywhere with Kagome.'' I said charging at him again. He dogged to the right and took off into the trees, I followed him.

 

I could hear Sango yelling for Kirara to transform for them to ride on and keep up with me. I could also hear Miroku yelling for me to wait up. What the fuck was he crazy? I wasn't waiting or stopping for anything until I caught up with that basterd and had Kagome back in my arms. Kikyo's soul stealers were flying all around me. I had one at each side and two in front of me. I didn't know what they were here for but I wasn't going to go to Kikyo until Kagome was safe. The two in front of me took a sharp left into the trees, I thought they were trying to led me to there mistress, but as my head turned that way I caught a whiff of Kagome and Shizuka. Were they trying to help me find Kagome? But that would mean that Kikyo was ordering them to, they can't act on there own accord. Now why the hell would she help me if she sent this asshole after us in the first place?

 

It doesn't matter right now, I'll figure out what's going on later. I turned left and followed them through the trees. Kirara wasn't far behind me, and the scent of that basterd is getting closer.

 

There he is.

 

He was jumping through the trees as fast as I was. If I could just cache up with him and knock him off blains then I could get Kagome. I pushed my self to run faster, and I did, but I must have been making more noise then before because he turned around and looked me right in the eyes. I guess he was a little upset, because I didn't have to knock him off blains, he did that him self when his foot slipped from the tree branch he was going to land on. As he fell I jumped down after him and punched him right in the face and grabbed Kagome away from him.

 

She was back safe in my arms.

 

And smelling more aroused by the minute.

 

In two minutes I'm going to lose control and do something I'm really going to regret later if I don't get her out of my nose rage.

 

`'Inuyasha!'' Just in time. I looked over to the side to see Kirara landing and Sango and Miroku already sliding off of her.

 

Shizuka was getting up off the ground where he landed. I needed to get Kagome out of there.

 

`'Inuyasha, I suggest that you get this fight over with as soon as you can. We have to go back and find out what happened to Shippo.'' Miroku said standing next to me. He's right; we have to find that runt as soon as we can. I really don't like doing this but.

 

`'Miroku, take Kagome and go back to the village and find Shippo. Leave this basterd to me. And monk, if you lay one hand anywhere on Kagome that they shouldn't be and you won't have to worry about the wind tunnel sucking you up, because I'll cut your hands off understand?'' He swallowed hard and nodded taking Kagome out of my arms.

 

`'Don't worry Inuyasha, I'm make sure he behaves.'' Sango said throwing a glare his way. He swallowed again.

 

`'Don't you dare go anywhere with my mate, I'll kill you before you even take flight.'' Shizuka's angered voice rang out. I turned my head to look as him, glare is more like it. If I had the time I would have kept him alive a little longer just to torture him.

 

`'She doesn't fucking belong to you, and she defiantly isn't your mate!'' Miroku was handing Kagome over to Sango who was sitting on Kirara so he could get onto her as well. Shizuka's eyes kept darting from me to them, and I knew what he was going to do. He was going to attack them instead of me.

 

I was right, he headed right for them. I don't even remember moving, but I was standing in front of Kirara and my fist was in his face once again. He must really like being punched.

 

`'Get the hell out of here Kirara, I can handle this guy.'' She growled softly at me and took off.

 

Shizuka got up one more time and launched him self at me.

 

Here we go.
