InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ In the Wrong Hands ❯ I Quit!! ( Prologue )

[ P - Pre-Teen ]

Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha and the idea wasn't completely mine... eh whatever just read!!

"That's it!! I quit!!!" The voice of a very small person yelled throwing his gold heart shaped arrows on the ground with his gold bow as well. "This is a ridiculous job!! My wings ache, I NEVER get a vacation, and every moment is spent bring "Love" and "Happiness" and sometimes pure "Lust" to everyone but my damned self!" He kicked at nothing throwing a temper tantrum. "Sometimes the places I go are so damned cold my wang nearly freezes and falls off." He grumbled before stopping. "I swear I'll go piss on my father's grave for sticking the males in the family with such a horrible job..."
"Inuyasha.... OSUWARI!!!" A voice yelled.

"Dammit…" The naked dude muttered before flying off forgetting all about his arrows and such.

"I'm going home…" The same gentle voice said indignantly as she brushed through the bushes and stormed off.

"Kagome, wait…" A young kid voice said but didn't get far since the only other male of the group grabbed him by the tail.

"Let Kagome-sama alone, Shippo. She has had a rough night and an even worse morning."

"That Bitch…" Inuyasha muttered finally pushing himself from the crater in the ground. He met the eyes of the other female in the clique. "What do you want?!?!"

"Two timer…" She said before walking off to catch up with her other friend.

"Why do they always corner me together?"

"They're females Inuyasha, great friends at that. When one is betrayed the other takes her side when it's appropriate." Miroku said lowering the kitsune to the ground.

"Besides, you're so stupid Inuyasha one think you'd learn to stop running to Kikyo's side whenever she shows up then stuck in the middle when Kagome's there too. Ow!!" The runt grabbed the knot quickly forming on the top of his head. "It's not my fault you keep hurting Kagome!!" He garbled out walking off. "If I had my way I'd put everyone together who belongs together and take that Kikyo out of the picture. Then maybe Kagome would stay longer." He continued walking unaware of the guilt he embedded in the youkai's heart. On the way he tripped over something and he landed with a hard "Ow!!" He turned to glare at the obstruction in his path but eyes sparkled at the sight.

Before him was the most beautiful bow and arrow set possible. He glanced around at who could've possibly left them but shrugged picking them up anyway. Well soon would be a year since he met Kagome and Inuyasha, and while he's still debating on whether to get the silver haired male anything, but this would do nicely for Kagome.

"Come on Shippo let's go catch up with the ladies…" Miroku said walking past the kitsune without even glancing at him once. Shippo picked up one of his blank leaves and shrunk the set and hid it before following Miroku ignoring the pouting hanyou behind him.
