Chapter 5
Good news turned to bad and the wedding
"We got an phone call half an hour ago regarding your family they were killed in a car crash this morning. No one made it alive, Im so sorry Kagome, I'll give you two some time alone" Mrs.Saito said left her office . Inuyasha pulled a crying Kagome onto his lap and held her in a tight embrace.
" It's alright Kagome, I'll take care of you, everything wil be alright" Inuyasha comforted while running his clawded hands through her silky hair, as she cryed.
" Its not fair, they cant do this" Kagome sobbed.
"c'mon I'll take you home" Inuyasha said
" No I dont want to be in my house its just there to much there, too many memories" Kagome said looking to Inuyasha
" Ok how about you come to my house for a couple days"
" Oh Sesshoumaru is probably very busy, I was gonna just gonna stay here"
"No, its ok plus your finally released from here, and you cant stay here alone" Inuyasha said and pulled Kagome to him, he put his arm around her and they walked to her room to get her stuff and the they drove to his house. When they got to Inuyasha's house Kagome had fallen asleep. Inuyasha picked her up bridal style, he brought her into his room and layed her on his bed. 'She looks so peaceful, so beautiful, urg! I got to get these thoughts out of my head' So he went to his computer and decided to finish his report.
Kagome woke up with a head ache, for a minute she wondered where she was and what happened and then all the memories of the earlier day flooded back she looked to her right and saw a wall, than she turned to the left and saw Inuyasha typing away on the computer. She got up as quiet as she could but Inuyasha's demon hearing picked up her movement and he turned around.
" Your awake" Inuyasha said, he saved his work and then walked over to Kagome.
" Its 6:30 so I think we should go down for dinner but I'll tell Sesshoumaru all about what happened after dinner"Kagome just nodded, Inuyasha gave her an un-expexted hug than lead her down stairs, his house was pretty big but not a mansion , but to Kagome it was, she grew up in a shrine with her mother, grandfather, and brother Souta.When they goto the diding room Sesshoumaru was just on his way to come get Inuyasha to notify him dinner was ready.
"Oh Kagome, I didnt know you were here" Sesshoumaru said. ' He called her Kagome, mabey he saw the news and knew it was her family and has simpathy for her' Inuyasha thought while he walked to his seat.
" Inuyasha, Kagome , you all know Rin well she's my girlfriend now, so now were a big happy family" Sesshoumaru announced' This was very strange, Rin must have changed him' Inuyasha mused
"You mean Inuyasha has finally admitted tthat he loves Kagome, and now there gonna get married too! Oh how I love younge love!" Rin said bouncing. Inuyasha blushed and Kagome looked up abit
" No Im mean were all gonna live together and we're gonna get married" Sesshoumaru corrected
" Ithought she was your girlfriend dont you think it a bit early in the relationship to get married"Inuyasha asked
"Not when you know its destiny" Rin answered dreamily
"Kagome, I heard about your family and Im very sorry, you can stay as long as you like" Sesshoumaru said lightly
"thank you"Kagome said smiling lightly,than everyone sat down to eat.
Three days later they went to the funeral, Kagome sulked for the rest of the week. She started school at Inuyasha's school a week later, Sango and Mirokusent there regards. Kagome had first period with Miroku Second with Sango and third with Sango and Inuyasha and Miroku and last period with Inuyasha.Two more weeks passed and Kagome was completely over the death of her family and was living with Inuyasha's family till she got out of high school.
Inuyasha and Kagome were at home on a saturday night bored doing nothing when Kagome realized somting.
"You know what, I still dont even know your last name." Kagome said randomly.
" its Takahashi"
" Inuyasha Takahashi, cool."
"Why did you want to know" Inuyasha asked wondering about her strange question.
" I dont know i was just wondering" Kagome looked at the clock on the peach wall.
"well Im gonna go to bed, we have to get up early tomorrow, since were getting ready for Sesshoumaru's and Rin's wedding" Kagome said getting up.
" Do you wanna be my date for the wedding?" Inuyasha said trying to sound casual.Kagome smiled adn replyed.
" Id love to be" and then she ran up stairs. ' She'd love to be... does that mean she likes me or possibly love me?' Inuyasha mused.
The next morning was hectic everyone was running around gettin ready, they were having the wedding at there cottage wich had a huge backyard, which is where the main event was happening. The girls were in the whole up stairs getting ready, Kagome was the made of honnor and Sango , and three of Rins friends from collage ; Eri, Yuka and Ayumi were all the Brides maids. Inuyasha was the Best man and Miroku was the ring bearer.All the men were ready and waiting for the girls, when Rins mother came out and cued the music. Kagome came out wearing a short ivory and gold dress with halter tie neck with the tulle at bottom, the skirt became fuller at the bottom. Sango, Eri Yuka and Ayumi came out wearing a pink and ivory short and full dress, with the tulle peeking from the bottom. The satin bow ties to the front under the chest area.Then Rin came out wearing the most beautiful dress it was a gorgeous sleeveless wedding dress with lace back style. Embroidery on bodice and hem of the dress. Very unique and elegant design on the side.Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha and Miroku were in aww but tried not to show it so they just stared.When every body was at the alter and snapped out of there daze, Sesshoumaru anf Rin recieted there vows and said ' I do' the preist said
"You may now kiss the bride" The wedded couple smiled and crushed eachothers lips in a passionant kiss, the maid of honnor and brides maids all awwwed and then Rin tossed the bouquet and Kagome caught it, Sango lookd to Kagome
" You know what this means?" Sango asked.
"What?" Kagome asked confuzed
"Inuyasha and Kagome sitting in a tree k-i-s-s-i-n-g first come love then come MARRIAGE!" she said pointing to the flowers when she said marriage. Miroku looked at Inuyasha and Inuyasha looked back to Miroku
" Inuyasha buddy" Miroku
Sesshoumaru and Rin were drivin off too to the after wedding party in a limo, everybody got into there cars and drove after them. Inuyasha were alone in the car Kagome was going on about how beautiful the wedding was.
"- her wedding was so wonderful"kagome stopped ranting for a minute.
" I think you looked really beautiful' Inuyasha said, Kagome looked over and blushed
" Thank you, you looked too.." Kagome said
"I thought that kiss was so beautiful, every girl wishes to be kissed like that" Kagome said in a daze
' i'll have to keep that as a mental note'
When they got to the party mostly everbody was there Sango and Miroku were already dancing. Kagome was about to walk to the beverage table but Inuyasha grabbed her hand and pulled her onto the dance floor.
"We are here together so we should dance together " Inuyasha said using anything as an excuse to get her to dance with him.
" Look this time we dint even have to manipulate them" Sango said pinting over to the couple who just started dancing.
"Mabey there warming up to eachother, and soon mabey they'll actually admit there feeling" Miroku said hopefully
" Slow down dont get ahead of yourself" Sango said laughing.
It was time for Inuyasha to go up and make his best man speech.And more than anything he wanted Kagome to go up with him, he wanted people to see she was taken ' why do I feel this protective feeling for Kagome like as if I was protecting my mate'
" Kagome come up with me, for the speech"Inuyasha said pulling her hand toward the stage.
"what... um no its your job, I think I heard somewhere that only the best man is supposed to go up, um ya" Kagome said, she didnt want to go up infront of all those people.
"Well why dont we ask Sesshoumaru" Inuyasha dragged Kagome to Sesshoumaru
" Sesshoumaru isnt the best mans date supposed to go up for the speech?" Inuyasha asked and winked at the end of his sentance. Kagome stood behind Inuyasha makking hand singnals to say no. Sesshoumaru looked at the both of them strangly' My half brother obviously want to bring up her so everyone knows that she's his, and Inuyasha obviously is inlove with her, and this hasnt happened in along time, so if I dont help he might not ever find someone, but it is evident that she doesnt want to go up, hmmm I guess my half witted brother needs help' he looked at them both and replyed
" Yes, actually there supposed, that is if you a date?" Sesshomaru was gonna help but he wasnt gonna just hand it to him.
" W-well K-Kagome is m-my d-date?" Inuyasha was nervous that she might denie it and make him look like a fool or Sesshoumaru might ask why he asked her.Luckily for Inuyasha Sesshoumaru was in a good mood.
" Well Kagome I guess its your duty to go up ther with him" Sesshoumaru smiled at her.
" Plus you are the maid of honnor so your basically what Inuyasha is to Sesshoumaru but to me, so you definiatly should be up there" Rin butted in. Kagome just smiled and agreed.
"Looks like its time to go up there " Inuyasha said looking at Kagome
" And here is Inuyasha the best man and Kagome the maid of honnor and Inuyasha's date" ' Thanks Sesshoumaru for adding in that she's his date' Inuyasha thought. Inuyasha lead Kagome to the stage holding her hand, when they got on the stage he wraped his arm around her waist and rested his hand on her hip.
"Hey how is everybody tonite" Inuyasha waited for everybody to finishe there reply" Rin is amazing, she has changed Sesshoumaru so much man he actually has emotions now" everybody laughed knowing that it was true" They love eachother so much, I remeber when they first told me and Kagome that they were getting married, they had only known eachother for about a week , I thought they were crazy but now I Know that they werent because they love eachother and if you love somebody you cant let them get away" Inuyasha realized what he was saying that, he was doing the exact opposite of what he was advising, Miroku, sango, Sesshoumaru and Rin all saw that he'd just realized that and all gave him a smile" And that your really stupid if you do, and well considering that, I just realized that Im really stupid" The men just laughed and the girls awwed, Kagome was totally confused and she took the microphone from him" Umm I really dont know what he meant by the last statement , mabey he had a few too many drinks, but I just" Kagome was cut off by the same passionate kiss Sesshoumaru and Rin shared.
"What that last satement meant was that I was letting the one I love get away, and I was tlaking about you, Kagome Higurashi... I love you"

A/N:: I had to do lots of research fot this chapter (tiering) and yes i really like the tittle thats why iv had the little explanation for the tittle up for a long time
you may be wondering about the tittle incarneted faith (i finally got a tittle) incarnated means embodied in flesh or 'in the flesh' as jesus' came to us he was incarnated because he was in the flesh. Inuyasha is Kagomes faith.. and he's in the flesh so he's her incarnated faith!
