Kagome waited till she didn't see or smell anyone. Her heart beating like mad it made her ears about deaf and the fear she smelled coming from herself blocked most of the smells she would normally smell. Sliding the door open a crack she looked out the open hole. She didn't see anything so she pushed it open all the way.
She walked out the door slowly and then felt a hand grab her around the waist. Kagome screamed knowing who had ahold of her.


Sesshoumaru watched as she walked out slowly. He grabbed her by the wasit making sure she wouldn't be able to get away. He put his mouth right by her ear. "Kaogme did you really think you could get away from me?" Sesshoumaru whispered making his breath brush up agaist her ear. Kagome didn't know what would happen know. She really wanted to cry.


"How was you able to get out of your room when I placed a barrier around it?" Sesshoumaru didn't wait for her to answer her picked her up and started to head in a direction toward the busted door. He wanted to have some fun with her he liked to watch her squrm. Kagome tried in vain to get away but didn't have the stranght to do it. He carried her out the busted door to the left heading towards a wing that she never been to.


Sesshoumaru walked for a while till her entered a barrier that covered his room. He placed her down on his bed. Kagome whom had fainted didn't know where she was. Looking around she noted that she must have been in his room. Sesshoumaru was setting beside her in the dark just watching her. All she could see was his golden eyes. It made her feel uneasy. "What do you want with me Sesshoumaru?" Kagome asked thinking he wouldn't say anything when he did.


"I wish to make a deal. It seems that everyone is after you I will train you only if you agree to do something for me." Sesshoumaru knew she didn't really have much of a choice see as she didn't have a place to go. She took her time answering pondering over her nexts words. He saw her chest raise the fall some how he thought that to be interesting.


"I wish to know why you would train me and who is after me?" Kagome finally said she was really curious to what he would say. 'I thought for sure he was going to kill me when I saw what he did but what ever he was doing must not be as important as this.' Sesshoumaru got up from the bed and headed out of the doors that led to a balcony. Kagome got up and followed him.


"Many years ago my father left me with the little to become the lord of the western lands. Up untill now I have done all that was needed. I have but one more thing left stopping me of becoming the lord I have to find a mate by the next full moon. So I am offering you a choice to be my mate. If you choose to do so I will train you to learn your new powers. You would not be my real mate only to pretend one for a short while. I will need your answer as soon as I can." Sesshoumaru turned to face her wondering if she will choice to do so.


Kagome listened to what he said very carfully. ' I will only his mate for a while and I could learn how to use my powers. Plus I'm going to see Rin somemore. I have a few conditions to I need to tell him about well then no time like the present I guess.' "Sesshoumaru I agree only I have a few things to add. My friends have no idea where I'm out or weather I'm alive or not. Plus I wish to bring Shippo here. Do that and I will agree. Is that a deal?" Sesshoumaru really hated to face Inuyasha but he need to do this in order to become lord and he was willing to do anything for it so be it he would.


"It is a deal but there will be some changes around here you only go where I allow you to go and you will start sleeping by me is this clear? All your stuff is to be thrown away and replaced with new ones." He wasn't even done yet when he seen the look on her face one of shock he hated to do that but it was needed that she looked to be a hime from somewhere only to impress the elders. Kagome was getting mad noway she was going to let her stuff be tossed out like a rag doll plus she had her girl stuff in there. She was getting ready to say something when he picked her up.


She made an eep sound when he picked her up. He placed her on his bed and pulled the covers over her. Kagome was in a little bit of a shock. She didn't noticed till the last minute he was getting undress and headed to the other side . He slid under the covers. He noticed that Kagome's face was a little white and her cheeks were red. He put his hand on her forhead to check for a fever she had none. "Is something wrong?" He asked getting worried he didn't need to have her feeling sick. He needed her to be in the best shape right now. In the morning they would start her training.


Kagome was just looking confused as to why he put her in his bed till she looked over at him and seen him getting undress. She couldn't turn her head even if she wanted to he was everything one could imagen. A blush stole her face she got really red when he sliped under the covers with her. She never once sleep beside a man in bed and was afraid of what could happen. She smiled when he acted a little consorn for her welfair. She told him it was nothing and laid down on the other side of the bed as far away as she could only go. She had a feeling this was going to be a long week.


Lavis could smell the hanyou and his group. They had just set up camp he told his men to wait he wanted to check it out before anything could happen. It was to late Kikyo sent out her soul stealers. Inuyasha awoke when he smelled the soul youkai. He also smelled something different like it was burning but then just thought it was the fire his group had made. Inuyasha got up from the tree and landed softly on the forest floor. He got ready to leave when Miroku woke up. "Inuyasha will you go to her like all the other times?" Miroku asked already knowing the answer.


"Miroku just but out it isn't non your business." With that the hanyou left leaving the group unprotected. Inuyasha followed the miko soul stealers. This time he would ask her is she would go with the group just till Kagome was found. Little did he know but he was heading into his death bed made by pots of dirt and bone. When he was out of sight the others begain to acted. Miroku still being awake senced the youkai coming. He hurried to wake the rest up. "Everyone wake up youkai is coming and at a fast pace." Miroku yelled waking everyone up they got into a battle stance. Waiting for them to come.


Sango noticed that Inuyasha wasn't with them this time. "Houshi where is Inuyasha at?" Sango asked she then knew when he gave the the look telling her he went to the dead miko. Sango was heated, 'how could he leave them at a time like this?' Sango knew this was going to be a bad fight. Miroku was thinking along the lines of Sango and told Shippo he should leave not wanting to see the kit be killed. He could tell when the youkai broke through the forest line that they had something to do with Naraku. Yet Naraku didn't seem to be playing this part out to well he never brought his killer bees. Maybe this wouldn't be to bad, if they do manage to stay alive he knew a certain hanyou was dead for leaving them there. He was going to make sure of that.


Lavis finally waited till the Hanyou was gone before he and his group broke the line of tree that covered there hidden spot. There bodies became fire while the night youkai took to the sky. Miroku took on the fire youkai and Sango took the night youkai in the sky. She hopped on a now larger Kilala and they flew in the sky. Miroku had a feeling they needed to find there friend soon. Not wasting time he instantly pulled the beads that bound his wind tunnal. "With a hallor of Kazanna he pulled them off all the way and everything started to get sucked into his wind tunnal. Once the first part of the fire youkai entered it his hand got on fire as well.


Sango in the sky shot out her Hiratsu making the weapon circle around the night youaki. The night youkai thinking that she missed just laugh at her. Masako who was behind her brother shouted out to late she watched as he got cut in hafe. "You night youkai are all the same im still upset about the one I met the other day. " Sango felt a little better but just not enough to settle the score she wanted the guy who said she looked like a good meal.

A soft voice startled Sango. "Why, why did you kill him he was just doing what he was told to do." Masako started to weep for the lose of her brother. I wish Naraku would have just made me instead of making him so that way I would have never known him. It hurts so bad." More tears fell from her eyes. A loud crash caught there attenchen. Looking down it seem Jiro was the only one left Miroku has sucked all the rest. Mirko was indeed tired trying not to alarm Sango about how week he was getting. There was something different about this one fire youkai he was alot stronger than the rest.

Jiro just laughed. "If you think you will kill me with that trick im afraid you are going to have to do better. You see I am not like the others. I am the lord fire youkais son. His only son. Masako hadn't known that till now. Sango forgetting about the night youkai told Kilala to go to Miroku. Sango jumping off put Miroku on her and also blocking the attacks the fire youkai was sending there way. Masako was feeling different while watching them. She felt a little betrayed being robbed of her brother bu the more she thought about it would Naraku let them live after they served there purpose? She thought that he would end up killling them anyways.

Sango screamed when Hiratsu broke and the fire ball landing on her skin. The burning pain made her close her eyes. She knew this was the end to tired of trying to block him and protect Miroku she could do no more. Whispering a gomen and a 'I Love You' to the monk she put her hand in front of her eyes and waited. The fire ball never hit her though. When Sango opened her eyes she was shocked to find the night youkai blocking the attack. She put up a barrier around them. Jiro to say the lest was pissed, one of his own was fighting him back. Here he liked her a little but that feeling was wiped clean and a vengful one returned in its place.

Masako couldn't bare to see them die she wanted to let them leave to make sure Naraku never got her wish. It was like someone was whispering into her ear giving her the advice to fight him. She took the voice to heart thinking it was her brother helping her. She then knew she did the right thing. Sango starting to rest up looked up at her savior. "Why why did you help us when I just killed your brother?" Sango was really confused. Jiro was getting mader but the second.

So he vanished going back in the woods. He was thinking that maybe if he got a surprise attack she might've lowered her guard. Making the shield go down with the attack. Masako knew he was up to something so hled her guard even more. "The reason im helping is because even though Naraku created us he would end up killing us in the end so I choose to save you hopign you might be able to beat him." Sango took what the youkai said in. She hoped they lived through it she had a feelign they would be good friends. Maybe she might even join there group.

Miroku woke back up and seen there was a youkai getting ready to kill Sango or he thought she was till he seen they were inside of a barrier that the youkai must have created. 'She is protecting us but why?' He wondered that untill he heard what the youkai said. He pulled himself up lening agaist the neko. "Drop the shield I wish to use my Kazanna." Miroku said specking a little crusty. Sango said no but the youkai did what he said.

Jiro choose that moment to attack he was just about to kill them with a big blast from his fire ball when the fire ball got sucked up. He ended up getting sucked up with the fire ball. Miroku hurried up and put the beads back around his wrist. Sealing the wind tunnal. He almost sucked up the two behing him. "Houshi are you ok and that was a foulish thing to do you could have died." Sango said with some tears in her eyes.

"Sango my dear if i didn't then we all would be dead right now." Sango gave Miroku a hug surprising catching him off guard they fell back with her on top of him. The moment was ruined though when a hand reached her bottom. A slap could be heard following by a thud sound. Miroku landed on the ground with a not on his head. Sango heard a laugh behind her she had forgotton about the night youkai. Sango got up from the ground and walked over to the night youkai.

"Thank you for helping us. What is your name?" Sango asked looking the night youkai over she was really pretty. She was sure also that if Miroku was awake he would be asking her to bear his child. It mad Sango mad everytime he did that.

"My name is Masako and you are welcome. Tell me does he always do that just put his hand you your rear?" Masako asked having a amused look on her face. Sango nodded and they both laughed.

"By the way my name is Sango and this is Houshi that is what I like to call him but his name is Miroku. There was also a kitsue traviling with us wonder where he got to. I hope he is alright. I was wondering I don't normally do this but I think everyone else beside the hanyou that is with us would like for you to join us." Sango said knowing there will be a fight with the Hanyou later on her doing this but right now she didn't care she did after all save them so this is the lest she could do.

"I would love to join you and the kit I am not sure where he went I think I saw him heading in the forest to your right. The same way the hanyou headed he might've went and got the hanyou." Sango nodded thanking her. Miroku woke agin and they told him what they agreed on Miroku had no proplem with it. It was just what Inuyasha would say. They needed to go get Shippo and see what happened to Inuyasha.

"I think we should get going to search for our other friend seeing that it is Inuyasha anything could happen. Shippo who had ran off earlier went to search for Inuyasha to tell him there was trouble back at camp. He followed the hanyous scent when he hit the barrier. Shippo was afraid he was in there with Kikyo. He knew Kagome would be upset if anything were to happen to him. Thinking quickly he transformed in to the bird shape using it to fly over the barrier. Luckly for him on top the barrier was a little opening. Chaning into a bug he flew in taking not of what was going on.

Inuyasha didn't even feel the barrier when he passed it the only thing on his mind was finding Kikyo his so beloved. When he got to the middle of the barrier there she was just lying on some tree branches. He knew she was waiting on him to met her there. "Inuyasha so it seems you came." Kikyo jumped down from the tree walking over to him. Putting her hand on his face she closed the gap of space between them. Her lips felt like ice on his warm one but that didn't matter as long as she was with him.

He embraced her deeping the kiss. Kikyo broke away when she started to ask the question. "Inuyasha I have heard that the other miko what was her name Kagome was missing?" KiKyo saw the look in his eyes it turned out that there was some feeling for her after all. Kikyo didn't like this one bit. "Inuyasha when will you fulfill the promise you made me to come to hell with me?" Kikyo asked hoping it would be tonight.

"I will but first I have to distroy Naraku then I am all yours. Plus I was thinking the other day that maybe if we were togather all the jewel shards we can make a wish that we wanted so long ago to have a normal life togather wouldn't that be better than going to hell? We could live like we always wanted to" Inuyasha was happy he thought of that. He just hoped she would agree on it.

Kikyo had a gleam in her eyes. 'Could she really live a normal life? To be happy and to be loved like she wanted but was denied fifty years ago. Yes she could but what about Kagome would she get in the way?' "What about Kagome I need to know who you love right now before I give you my answer." Shippo listened he really wanted to know.

"I... I only love you Kagome she is like a little sister to me I know she has feelings but mine are not the same. You are the only one I love and has ever loved." He spoke with the love showing in his eyes. Kikyo seemed to be not complety convinced but for now would go along with it. She just hoped what she was about to do would convince Naraku that Inuyasha was dead. They would have a big surprise if she could pull it off.

Shippo listened to what KiKyo said about him acting like he was dead. He was shocked to hear she was going to help him to gain his trust but he would do anything for her. Kikyo then bagin the show. The barrier around her fell she felt earlier that his friends was trying to get in. They would be an out cast for now it would be better if they didn't know. Inuyasha still wasn't sure what she had planned if he knew he wouldn't of agreed. He was getting ready to come at her with his claws beared.

It was then that Miroku and the others came in. They watched as Kikyo pulled out her bow and arrow she placed it in the string. 'Im sorry about this but this is the only way to make it look real. Please forgive me.' Kikyo sent him a sadden look he wondered why till he felt the arrow perice his heart. IT was like 50 years ago he soon fell into a deep sleep. Miroku and the others gasped. It was to late there was nothing they could have done to stop her.

Shippo went behind a tree and changed. He had to give it to Kikyo she acted her part. He wasn't worried he heard the plans so knew everything would be alright. He planned on filling in the group a little later when Kikyo was gone. She gave Inuyasha one more pleading look hoping he would understand. Then she vanished taking her soul stealers with her. Shippo jumped on Miroku scaring him.

Sango grabbed him and gave him a big hug she started to wail for the loss of her friend. Miroku had his eyes down casted his bangs covering his eyes. A few tears could be seen coming down his cheek. Masako felt a little out of place she just watched the hole thing. Even though she never knew him she felt that he was a good friend to the others. She went over and offered her support to her new friends.

Naraku was happy Kikyo had done it and with Kagome being gone and not knowing no one could awaken him now. He would reward her all right by giving her the power she craved for life. "Kagura I want you to bring me the witch in the southern sea bed. I call on a favor from her." Naraku had a wicked laugh that would make any dead man turn in his grave. He watched as she pulled on her feather and it became big. She left to do what was she was told to.

KiKyo headed towards the location of Narakus home. She was sure that by now he new the knews the famious hanyou was dead or dead sleep as she had made it that way. In a few days or so he would wake up and come find her she only hoped to be away from Naraku by then. She wondered to, why the night youkai she seen walk in with the other group members was with them. 'Could it be that she has traded side or did Naraku tell her to gain there trust then kill them when they weren't expecting it. For there sake she hoped it was the former one.

The group after saying to say there goodbyes knew they had to leave. There friend was still missing. The only lead they had is that she was with Sesshoumaru. They gathered up what ehy had and took off heading west. They wasn't for sure if they would find the Taiyoukai but they had to try. Masako got to know the group more at first the kit wasn't to friendly with her but after he heard the story he welcomed her with open arms anyone that saved his other friends he would call them a friend.

So they set off going on Shippos nose now. Since he was the only one that knew Sesshoumarus sent. Masako didn't really know the scent so she couldn't help out. The more they traveled the more she became on witht the group. A couple of times she had to hit the Houshi for touching her bottom. They ended up geting to the western lands faster than they expected. They set up camp at the end of two days. They figured they were about a day away from his location. They were getting nervious about facing him. They fell asleep with Masako keeping watch. They were glad she had joined it made them feel a little safer.
