InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Intended Mate ❯ A Day Passes ( Chapter 6 )

[ X - Adult: No readers under 18. Contains Graphic Adult Themes/Extreme violence. ]

At this point of the story, you're probably wondering where I'm going with this. Everyone's mated off, and even Shippou got a little date. Well, to the plot of course! The thing they're always doing in the anime, hunting the Big Bad, namely Naraku. Or as I like to call him, RatBastard. Action scenes are not my forte, but we'll have to find him first, huh?
Anyways, hope you enjoy! Hunting hunting,…

“Intended Mate” chapter six
A Day Passes

Inuyasha and Kagome spent their first day as a mated couple completely alone and naked. They slept sporadically, on and off, tangled in each other's arms and legs. They didn't sleep a good while after that intense first time, speaking softly of dreams and generally being a happy couple in love. For this day, they could at least be a pair of newly-weds.
They rutted again, fell asleep, and woke up with the need once more. Finally, Inuyasha rose in all his bare glory, saying he needed a soak. Kagome followed him to the stream, giggling and they fell in the water tangled once again. Inuyasha wound up leaning against the rough rock with Kagome on top of him. He got a few deep bruises and welts from the jagged wall but didn't complain once. Kagome certainly didn't complain, as she got Inuyasha deeper inside her at that angle but couldn't walk back to the bed.

That encounter in the afternoon took quite a while for both to recover from. Inuyasha rubbed his sore back and finally stood, saying he'd catch a few fish for their dinner. Kagome wound up with a string of insufferable giggles as he bounded naked out of the cave, his tangled hair streaming behind him and barely covering his backside. If he wanted someone to pass out from the shock of a naked hanyou, that was their problem apparently.

Inuyasha came back quickly with three trout clenched tightly in his claws and laid them carefully near the fire bed. Kagome sat up and watched him gut them with his bare hands.

“You have talented hands,” she commented offhand, making her mate grin. He raised an eyebrow as she curved a bare thigh for his view. But they were both hungry and helped each other clean and cook the fish, devouring them in minutes. Kagome licked the juice from Inuyasha's fingers and kissed his hands. He carried her to the sleeping bag and pinned her down under him once more.

Much later, Kagome explored Inuyasha's stomach with her fingertips , watching his chest rise and fall as he caught his breathe.

“We have to get some rest you know,” she giggled, tracing a muscle with one finger. Inuyasha moaned, his tummy concaving.

“Ah…” he breathed, resting his head on one arm. Kagome traveled higher to trace his heart.

“So that means we should….lie still,” she smiled. Inuyasha flashed a mad grin at her, letting one of his hands ghost down her side and over her hip. Kagome shivered and lay on her back.

“Very still….Inuyasha,” she sighed. His hand skimmed lower and slid between her thighs, resting there. She squirmed against him, spreading her legs. Inuyasha laughed.

“I thought you said to lie still,” he teased, rolling over to nip at the corner of her breast. Kagome rubbed her hands up and down his back.
“I am lying still! You're the one whose moving….” She laughed, as he wriggled to lay between her thighs. Inuyasha propped himself on his elbows and carefully kissed her mouth.

“Hmm… I said you have to stop moving,” he growled as she shifted against his erection. Kagome arched against him a few short times, listening to him gasp lightly.

“Oh….if we're sore tomorrow, I'll blame you,” Kagome purred, catching his tip in her moist heat. Inuyasha arched low and thrust in firmly. The moon slowly arched across the night sky as their moans filled the cave.

Sango and Miroku left the inn room the next day, looking for all the world the exact same way they had gone in. Dignified and aloof, not necessarily two parts of the same whole. If you looked closely, a small blush would steal across Sango's face and Miroku didn't even look at another woman, clutching his priest's staff to keep from touching Sango instead.

They had let Shippou back in the room last night, since they felt bad for putting him out while they slept. Sango was slightly relieved for the foxcub's presence, knowing she and Miroku wouldn't…be doing that. She couldn't help feeling that though she had wanted it in her drunken state that SHE had instigated, that Miroku had taken advantage of her. But she had…pushed him to it….drunk or not. She remembered barely Miroku shaking his head and trying to put her in bed. Put her in bed alone that is. She had instead pressed her hand flush against his groin, oh and put her head in his lap when she almost passed out. He still held back for her until she asked him not to.

`Where do we go from here?' Sango thought, hugging Shippou to her shoulder. `Is he mine? Am I his? …. If he looks at another woman again, I'll cut off his hand. Preferably the one with his kazaana.' Sango looked over her shoulder, ignoring Shippou's bright chatter about his dates with Mae. Houshi-sama…no, Miroku looked lost in thought. He didn't look as carefree as he was, but he didn't look flippantly around at anything else with breasts. He actually looked… at her the whole time? Sango's heart sped up.

Shippou giggled and spoke up again, grabbing the exterminator's attention. “And she kissed me, Sango! Right here!” he pointed to his cheek. Sango laughed.

“You did well, Shippou. Maybe we should travel back here and see her again…”

Shippou shrugged, blushing. “Maybe! But we travel a lot and…” Sango ruffled his hair.

As they made their way back up to the cave they left their friends in, Miroku watched Sango climb in front of him. His thoughts still bordered on lemony fresh, but his heart beat louder as he remembered holding her close under him and feeling her every movement as he took her virginity.

Miroku had thought perhaps he was mistaken about her virtue. A woman of Sango's striking good looks, and dangerous but useful skill had to have been wooed by many men as she traveled first with her family, then with her friends. Her every movement in battle enticed even the most chaste monk and made husbands turn their heads to see. Ever since she had developed feelings for him, she seemed to lack some of that confidence he had seen when they first met.

`Could it be….me that has her faltering?' Miroku's heart sped up. `I could get her killed thinking about me at the wrong time!….I…. I did undress her while we were drunk and…..' Miroku looked away, red in the face.
`I need to tell her…. Or she may kill me first.'

As the trio took a break near a stream, Miroku sent Shippou off to pick mushrooms for Kagome and cornered Sango. The exterminator leaned against a tree and raised an eyebrow, her look telling him to be honest or not to press his luck.

Miroku touched her cheek hesitantly, sighing greatly. “Sango….I….want to apologize for any unwanted actions the other night…. I…. “ Sango frowned at him, blushing. His fingers stopped and he froze.

“You idiot. Miroku…you took advantage of me….” She said. Miroku's heart stopped and he stammered.
“I….I'm sorry…I took your maidenhead without….”

Sango laid a finger over his lips and caressed his cheek. “I did get you drunk though….because… I needed to know how you felt….”

Miroku's brows lifted, giving him a comical look. “I… Sango…I care about you… I… I love you. I need you and “

“If you ask me to bear your children, I swear, Miroku..” she whispered, tracing his lips with her finger. Miroku paused.

“I love you too….but I have to be the only one for you. It would kill me to be the only other woman in your life if I'm to bear your children.” Was she actually saying these words? Sango was crossing a hurdle she had placed on her heart and personality and it made her want to run and hide. Especially from Miroku. Miroku's hands pressed against her shoulders and held her to him.

“Sango….I want us to be married…and I want you to bear my children… I love you,” he whispered, waiting for his life to end with her fist between his eyes. Sango merely looked up at him and held onto his robes tightly. She leaned up and met his lips softly.

Miroku kissed her for a long moment, and they eased from each others lips as they heard a small childish scamper coming back their way. They continued on their way with knowing smiles and lingering gazes.

The first thing Shippou noticed seeing his surrogate mother was that she was walking funny. He could smell Inuyasha all over her and Kagome all over him. The mix made Shippou turn up his nose, but he pounced for a hug anyway.

“Kagome! I missed you,” he cried, hugging her neck. Kagome laughed, patting her fox cub.

“I did too, Shippou-chan. Miroku-sama, Sango-chan, how did you two fare in the village?” she smiled. Sango noticed she looked the most content she ever had looked in her life. It wasn't the air of being laid, it was the knowledge of having a partner to spend your life with.

“It was fine, Kagome-sama,” Miroku blushed as Sango coughed. “You two look well! I see you're marked.”
Kagome tucked her fuku collar back up. “Oh yes…Inuyasha hmm….”
Inuyasha blushed and Shippou ribbed him.
“Nyah! You smell a heck of a lot better, Inuyasha!” Inuyasha scrapped with him as per usual, but softened his punch to let Shippou know their understanding still held.

Sango gave Kagome a look that begged to have some girl talk later on and Kagome nodded, getting the silent message.
“So, let's get moving! Or Naraku will get away from us again,” Inuyasha stated. Kagome nodded and climbed onto his back and he carried her up the path.

Behind them, Miroku and Sango's hands reached out and clasped.

Sesshomaru led his strange entourage around a series of caves. Jaken had stopped trying to talk to his lord at all, as he was in a fiercely bad mood. Sesshomaru was always the stoic one, but he was bordering on downright nasty. Only Rin dared to keep up her daily schedule, for she knew she was her Lord's faithful follower and could do no wrong to him. Jaken took to walking behind the child to protect himself from unexpected abuse from his Lord.

He would follow his Master to the ends of the earth, but sometimes he was a frightening companion.

Rin giggled and hummed, skipping just one step to the right and behind of her beloved Sesshomaru. She didn't mind if he was apparently angry, because she could make it all better!
“Sesshomaru-sama! Are we going to stop soon, Sesshomaru-sama?” she inquired. Jaken groaned to himself. It was best not to talk to him when he was in a mood! Even if you couldn't tell if he was in a mood or not.

Sesshomaru rumbled lowly in his chest, deigning not to answer at all. Rin shrugged and skipped along behind him. “Jaken-sama! Hurry up!” she chided. Jaken glowered and jogged to keep up.

Sesshomaru would not tolerate this much longer. For now he would scout around the edges of his half brother's sharp nose, but he would not be far from the miko in strange clothing. Even though she smelled of Inuyasha or even if she was in heat.

A day turned into two. Two into three. Three to four and finally a week passed. The Inu-tachi's journey up the mountain paths was turning cold. Inuyasha slept spooned around Kagome under her sleeping bag to help feed her warmth. They woke up only all too aroused at each other's closeness and once or twice Inuyasha carried Kagome aways off into the trees to satisfy their needs.

One week turned into two and two to three and the group was still scrambling for clues and leads that seemed carelessly tossed for them to struggle to find. Morale was only high in that both couples were at ease being with each other and the other two. Shippou was being shunted from couple to couple whenever the other needed privacy and he was resenting the treatment. That and Kagome hadn't gone back to her time in quite awhile so he hadn't the reassuring gift of ninja food to calm his attitude.

They felt they were getting closer to their target, though glimpses of Kagura infuritated them and they saw a glimpse of a skinny young man wielding a pair of scythes that made Sango cry out. Inuyasha was getting alittle discouraged after the third week when Kagome got sick. And she didn't seem to get any better. His backrubs didn't help, Sango's massages didn't help, and she always bolted from their sleeping bag to stumble to the trees and retch.

And she refused to eat until lunch for she couldn't keep it down. Shippou was greatly upset at this illness and refused to sleep near Kagome. He said she smelled funny, but to Inuyasha she smelled wonderful. She smelled better than ever if that was possible and he would fall asleep with his nose at her shoulder, snuffling lightly.

His eyes opened alittle bit in the middle of one night as energy seemed to tingle from her middle when he rubbed her there as she slept. Kagome slept on but Inuyasha looked down at her, eyes wide. She had been in heat about the time they marked in the cave…. it was inconvenient. It was unexpected. But Inuyasha suddenly didn't care, even if they were in the midst of tracking their hated foe.

A new aura rested in Kagome's middle under Inuyasha's sure fingers.

End for now

Aiyah, this was painful to write. Literally. I have in mind what I'm doing, I just don't want to throw you unexpectedly at it. I thought, let's pace it. And hunt. And track. And find leads. And hunt…. (laugh) The emotional part I really wanted to do though.
I hope someone enjoyed this and authors love reviews! I'm the review whore here…. Review please!
