InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Intended Mate ❯ Lucky number thirteen ( Chapter 13 )

[ X - Adult: No readers under 18. Contains Graphic Adult Themes/Extreme violence. ]

Hello everyone! I was glad for the turnabout on reviews. Is it only because I found Inuyasha's spirit and threw it back into the cold meat that once was his body? Believe me, I had planned that all along before reviews for chappie eleven. I may be putting people through the ringer here, but I always intend to have a happy ending! I believe personally there can be happy endings after a deal of hardship in rl, and I guess I write that way. (lol)
I can't express my appreciation for the reviews and emails I've shared with you guys. Once again, you inspired me to plug out this chapter as fast as I could since I never post or write at all Wednesday. (my groups gaming night)

Oh and Koga's a favorite of mine, which is why he's hanging around :P That and he had no screen time last chapter! Sorry…. (Sweatdrop)

Honored place for reviewers!

Inugrrll, aawww you get a hug from me! Thanks for your long reviews, and insightful emails. I get all bouncy whenever I see either from you! Thanks for fueling my inspiration to write. You're the best!
Andrea Moon Dog, as always, I hope you find time to read! I miss your emails, girl. Big howl to the moon here! (and I'll try not to email when drunk again lol)
Sapphire blade, I'm glad you're okay now! I didn't mean to scare you last time (still handing you tissues) MOSTLY Everything I do, is for a reason! :P (and I say mostly here….)
Shina_schatten…you know who YOU are! Read this and review! I know where you live….. (really, I do)
Same for you, Laedefey! And you call yourself my twin (sniff, really she is)

AFF: Frani1375, romantiq, Kirah, and a lost soul for taking the time from their lives to feed my nonexistent ego. Thanks!
FF: phaxkyote3507, Inuyasha's girl (one of em LOL), Lady Kcassandra, Hitomi Daremo, Tosuko Higurashi for sharing their words. Some of you are new, and I thank you.
Cherished Agony, I love reading what you have to say! You're great.

If I forgot anyone, fret not, I appreciate all of you. You are always honored in my thoughts.

Thirteen and multiples of it are actually favorite numbers of mine. 13 is a lucky number in celtic mythology, and the whole superstition these days about it, is just that, a superstition. I have great Friday the 13ths!
That and I could not think of a chapter title to save my life… (Sweatdrop)

Disclaimer: Penpaninu does not claim to own Inuyasha, in any way, shape or form, but does claim to be Inu. I could have crapped a better animated ending if I owned it!

While there are mates, there can still be Intended….

“Intended Mate” chapter thirteen
Lucky number 13….

“Come on, Dog Shit…you can do it,” Koga rolled his eyes. The ookami prince leaned heavily on a pair of makeshift crutches made from low tree branches. The whittling job had been hasty, so bits of rough bark dug into his armpits uncomfortably And the wood chafed his palms.

“Take it easy, young prince,” Kaede called out, sweeping her front path. Her hut had become a strange gathering of youkai and humans, and her fellow villagers stayed well out of range of her home while she was housing them, stopping only to bring supplies, news, or a few fearful well wishes.

Inuyasha, teetering on stiff legs and supported by Sango and Miroku, of course was being nursed back to health in her home and under their friend's care. Koga stayed because Kaede was in charge of his injuries, and he wanted to make sure that Kagome's life bond stayed alive. Whether to know if he would still have a chance in the future if Inuyasha would fall again, or to help the hanyou retrieve Kagome, was up to the near future. For now, he was a big help in coaching Inuyasha to move around and regain his strength.

Koga's knees had almost been shattered, but thanks to some slight purification on Kaede's part to remove Naraku's jyaki, and her medicinal knowledge to back up the spiritual aide, the wolf prince was moving about again. He coached and goaded Inuyasha, for far be it the other one of demon blood in the camp worth his fighting prowess would waste away while he was trying to heal from a deep injury.

“Come on, you worthless shit, you can do better! Don't make me hobble circles around you,” Koga laughed. Inuyasha panted in exhaustion and gave a faint frown. His legs trudged beneath him, and Miroku clung to his back to keep him up.

“I can do better….mangy wolf….”

The two slowly exercised around Kaede's yard each day, until Koga grew tired of supporting himself on his tree branches and Inuyasha was slick in sweat of trying to control his body. Miroku had to hand it to the wolf, he may have a sharp tongue, but it pushed Inuyasha to do better than him. And that may be what Koga intended this time.

“Inuyasha, don't push yourself,” Sango whispered, her side hurting again as she and her fiancee helped the hanyou to sit back inside the hut. She would have to have her bandages checked once again by their benevolent miko.

“Feh! He can push all he wants. He needs his strength, doncha, dog shit?” Koga baited, hobbling after the three of them. Miroku grunted, his eyes dark in exhaustion. Rest was only so much time at night, with all of them checking on Inuyasha periodically.

Except from Koga, there seemed to be a genuine shared fear that Inuyasha's body would shut down on it's own, after the shock of his spirit being thrust back in. Miroku, Sango and Kaede unspoken, took turns to watch the hanyou rest in a deep sleep at night. Shippou slept curled up on Inuyasha's bare chest, so if he stopped breathing in the middle of the night, he would know it.

It was frightening how long it took for Inuyasha to chew food on his own, to sit up, and then to stumble outside with the aide of his friends to put strength back into his legs. He was still a long ways off from gaining his usual confidant stride and speed, but at least he was alive. That was all the Inu-tachi could be thankful for at this point. Long days, then a week had already passed.
Inuyasha needed to regain his strength naturally, but they didn't want more time between them and Sesshomaru.

Shippou looked up from stirring Kaede's cooking cauldron with a raised eyebrow. The young kitsune had aged ten years in one long day of battle and hardship, and frequently was looking after Inuyasha like a faithful son would for an invalid father. He handed the wooden spoon to rest against the cauldron's lid and hopped forward to brush Kaede's cushions for Inuyasha to sit on.

“Here, Inuyasha, ready yourself. Dinner will be ready soon!” he chirped, trying to keep his idol's mood bright. Inuyasha regarded the pot with slow interest, his eyes clouded with unshed emotions.

Koga hobbled across the hut and sat across from the hanyou with a grunt.

“Oi, Sango, tell those knuckleheads to camp outside tonight, will ya?” the ookami asked casually. Sango, an arm around Miroku and pressing her forehead to his shoulder, nodded.

“They're very sweet, you know, Koga,” she said. Miroku rubbed his eyes and looked up, weary.

“Feh! If I told them that, they'd never obey me again,” Koga laughed. Shippou nodded in complete agreement and went to hand everyone bowls and chopsticks.

Kaede pushed past the hut flap and knelt beside the monk and his lover.

“Ginta and Hiko caught some fresh game, Koga-san,” she announced. Koga shrugged, eyes closed.

“I'll take my chances with the cub's stew. Looks more appetizing than my boy's game,” he laughed. Fond curses were shouted outside of the hut as his comrades heard that, but they went to enjoy their catch together.

Inuyasha sniffed, and reached for the familiar yellow backpack the group kept near his futon at night.

Everyone caught that movement and gently let it be. Inuyasha was missing his mate, and knowing his brother had kidnapped her right after his death was agonizing. Myoga had mentioned something about mating marks lasting for life last they talked, but he had died….

`She can't mate with Sesshomaru….she has to know I'm still alive!' Sometimes it gave Inuyasha waking nightmares that Kagome would forget him quickly, since he had died and their link had shut down. Images of his brother holding her and taking her made him want to scream at the world. If anything, they strengthened his resolve to master his own body again and make it to her.

`I'm living now. She has to know this!' Inuyasha thought, hugging the familiar pack to his chest, sniffing bare traces of Kagome the items instead still held. `Our pup will keep her true to me…it has to.'

Shippou patted Inuyasha's knee softly to get his attention.

“Here you go, Inuyasha…you need to eat and get better,” he said sincerely. Inuyasha managed a weak smile, and ate clumsily one handed. He didn't bother with the chopsticks, but weakly tilted the bowl towards his mouth and swallowed the stew. His other arm was busy hugging the yellow backpack close as if it were Kagome.

“Yeah get better, so we can get Kagome back already,” Koga suggested. Inuyasha's eyes flashed in determination.

“Thanks, mangy wolf,” he muttered. Koga nodded.

“Don't mention it, Dog shit.”

* * * *

Kagome stood still and tried not to wince as her maids tucked and folded her elaborate kimono expertly. They had already pinched her enough for complaining about standing there foolishly for so long, and she knew they didn't like her at all, so she opted for silence. It let them do their job, and it let her get away a lot faster.

The past week had been a trial in itself. She had woken up after the first day with Sesshomaru sitting on the edge of her damn bed, waiting for her. He had inquired after her health, and her sleep, and other small pleasantries. Kagome answered shortly enough, though both knew the short conversation was a façade to what he really wanted to get at.

Aside from commanding her to join him for formal meals in front of his dignitaries and staff, she was free to stay in her room or soak in his hot springs escorted, or walk the long hallways. Escorted, yet again. Sesshomaru didn't trust her to stay in his home, and obviously it showed as he had her monitored at all times. The only times she was sure she was truly alone was asleep in her bed.
Then she tried to leave the room in the middle of the night for a walk in the garden, and had received a nasty spiritual shock. That was when she learned even retired in her chambers for sleep, Sesshomaru had his shugenjas working sutras to keep a barrier around her room.

`What a mistrustful bastard!' she thought angrily for the tenth time that day. She hated wearing these kimonos Sesshomaru picked out, she hated having to appear prim and proper at his lordship's ever so suffering unmoving countenance, and she hated feeling trapped in her bedroom while she was sleeping. For all she knew, his shugenjas made that barrier free to admit Sesshomaru through while keeping everything else out!

Or in. Kagome wistfully watched the sliding doors to her room as the maids finished and tucked her robes train carefully around the floor.

“You are finished, Kagome-sama,” the younger maid announced. Kagome sighed, feeling the layered fabric weigh her down already. Pretending to be a youkai's lady in appearance was more tiring exercise than Naraku.

Kagome slowly began to dread the realization that Sesshomaru in his own way may be wooing her. And he would try to make her his Lady in every aspect of the relationship sooner or later.

“I'll escape by that point,” she thought. The maids fluttered and bowed down low, their foreheads pressed to the floor. Kagome looked carefully over her shoulder and groaned lightly. Sesshomaru strode into her room confidently as if he owned her already. He may not have such expressive ears as his half brother, but his face pinched as if he heard her discarded expression of dislike at his appearance.

He stopped before her, resplendent in his large kimono, boots peeking out from the hem. His gaze alone could freeze Kagome in her tracks but she lifted her chin defiantly.

“Yes, Sesshomaru?” she asked coolly. The maids at her feet murmured small exclamations of shock at her flippant behavior. Sesshomaru looked down at her solidly.

“You will accompany me on a private matter,” he murmured. Kagome shrugged as much she could in her heavy robes.

“What do you want?” she asked.

Sesshomaru reached forward and took her elbow in his claws, guiding her out of sight of the maids. They crawled back ward, faces still lowered, then hit the door and broke out running. Sesshomaru leaned down and sniffed her cheek.

Kagome recoiled. “Don't touch me. I told you that,” she said lowly.

Sesshomaru snuffed in amusement. “You still reek, Woman,” he said offhand.

“Why do you still call me that?? My name is Kagome!” Kagome snapped, wriggling in his arm. Sesshomaru rubbed her back lightly through the kimono.

“It isn't wholly unpleasant, Kagome…Woman,” Sesshomaru murmured. Kagome rolled her eyes and grit her teeth, face pressed against his chest.

“Why is that?” she growled. Sesshomaru turned her chin up and smiled. Kagome stared at the shift of obvious emotion.

“Because your scent calls to be filled,” he purred. Kagome stared at him, eyebrows raised.

“What do you mean...by that?” She didn't like at all where this was going.

“While you carry a pup of my family's house, your body gives certain scents to be needed and desired. And this Sesshomaru can certainly offer you desire and need,” he said.

Kagome's jaw dropped.

“That expression is unseemly for the Lady of the Western Lands,” Sesshomaru commented.

“I don't know what you smell, but my pup nor I want you to `fill' us!” Kagome snapped, pressing hard against his chest.

Sesshomaru grunted softly in disapproval. His eyes were flinty ice again.

“You would do well to think on your position, Kagome Woman,” he said. “I could hand you over to my guards, or worse, my servants. They can fill your attitude all you want if that's what you desire. I am giving you position at my side as my mate.”

Kagome snorted and rolled her eyes.

“You do not understand your position here, do you? You are merely the widow of a half breed and carrying his offspring of all things. You're a lucky woman that I give you a place as my Lady. I would even let you raise your first child provided you give me several immediately after. What is it that you don't desire about that? I am being generous.”

“I don't `desire' your threats! I don't want you! How can you make me betray Inuyasha?? How could you…” just as Kagome was working up a good rant, Sesshomaru's words clipped her short.

“And Inuyasha is so very dead. You should know most widowed mates are not sought after as I have sought you. They are scorned and their children are hunted. You should feel honored.”

Kagome's eyes filled with tears and she covered her mouth with her hands.

“I hate you,” she whispered. “And if you touch me, I'll kill myself!”

“Perish the thought,” Sesshomaru touched her cheek softly with the edge of his claws. Kagome stood stock still.

“If you wish death upon your first child, then you should just give it to me. But I won't let you harm yourself,” Sesshomaru ordered.

Kagome yelped, her mind flashing disturbing thoughts of Sesshomaru slicing her stomach open and eating a bloody inu fetus. She wrapped her arms around her middle and glared in hatred at the Lord.

“I said, don't touch me! Ever!” she hissed. Sesshomaru brought her close and kissed the corner of her lips. Kagome struggled and howled. Sesshomaru lightly smacked her cheek, and while she stood there shocked, he covered her mouth with his own. His tongue broke past her lips and massaged the inside of her mouth. Kagome fidgeted and whimpered, trying to bite him.

Sesshomaru broke the harsh kiss, laughing at the vigor she expressed fighting him. “That's what I see you as, a fighting spirit,” he murmured. Kagome stalked away from him.

“You can't make me betray Inuyasha…. I refuse to,” she whispered. She wiped her eyes with the edge of a long sleeve. She had had disturbing dreams the past week of her lover crying and calling her name. She knew he was dead, yet she couldn't let go of his memory. She held him close as if he were still here, looking for her. How could she betray the father of her baby? She would not dishonor their love this way, even if it seemed `impractical' to this youkai court.

`Oh, Inuyasha….I need you,' Kagome thought. Sesshomaru stood behind her dispassionately.

“I am being generous by giving you time to grieve,” he began. Kagome whirled around in a fury.

“A whole week?? I never knew you cared!”

Sesshomaru pinched her chin in his hand. “You have a sharp tongue, Kagome Woman. You should temper it before I show you to all of my dignitaries. The Lady of the Western Lands is not an uncultured heathen.”

Kagome twisted her face, angry.

“I already saw some of your dignitaries. And I was nice enough,” she retorted. Sesshomaru laughed mirthlessly and shook his head.

“If you call attempting to anger me during dinner nice enough, you are sorely mistaken,” he purred.

“Fine, I'll bite. What dignitaries?” Kagome asked wearily.

Sesshomaru folded his one arm thorugh his empty sleeve. “I'm holding a banquet in your honor.”

“I gracefully decline,” Kagome said immediately. Sesshomaru shook his head.

“Don't you humans ever shut up for two moments? I'm holding a banquet in your honor, showing you off as my mate,” Sesshomaru announced.

“I told you, you're not touching me,” Kagome growled.

Sesshomaru looked her up and down. Even layered in her kimono, Kagome felt naked to his gaze. She shivered and crossed her arms.

“Don't presume to make ultimatums to this Sesshomaru,” the Lord ordered. “You will continue to see me, and I will make you want me. By the night of the banquet, you will be wearing my mark, and my scent. And it can't be soon enough. The guards have complained about a hanyou's smell in the hallways.”

Kagome blushed and scowled. She shouldn't care about what others said about her late lover's scent, but that really hurt.

“I will not betray Inuyasha. I know he would come for me,” she said proudly.

Sesshomaru shook his head. “You will want me once you get it through your head that he won't come for you. I've slain enough to know the dead don't walk and they don't desire what they left behind.”

Kagome waited until he left and sank down wearily. Inuyasha, why? Why did you leave me? I wish with all my heart you were here…I need you. I love you. I need you to get away from this place.
Her mother must be so worried for her at being gone so long. Kagome wished she could see her friends one last time. She touched the barrier in front of her door and sighed heartlessly.

It looked like she was stuck here. She could fight Sesshomaru tooth and nail, but eventually he may win with the greater strength.

Kagome sank down onto her bed, crumpling her fine kimono. She covered her face with her hands and sobbed. It was hopeless. Her mate was gone. And her pregnancy was all she held left of him. Provided Sesshomaru followed on his promise to let her keep it…..
Rely on Sesshomaru? For a promise?? Oh, God! Kagome hugged her sides and cried herself to sleep.

Inuyasha was dreaming again. Shippou watched his face contort and twist, his lips moving. He patted Inuyasha's bare chest, content to feel his heartbeat tapping regularly. Better he have dreams than wake in pain again. Shippou carefully curled his body and tail over his torso and watched his idol.

Inuyasha's lips worked together then he panted loudly. “Ka-go-me…”

Shippou's eyes snapped back open. He was dreaming about Kagome? At least he was….when he first opened his eyes, and throughout that first agonizing day of caring for him, they feared he had lost his thoughts and memory. He had lain under their intense attention, weak and prone, eyes half open in immense pain.

Inuyasha hadn't forgotten though. His mouth was too weak to form many words at the beginning. His mind as well as his body needed to heal, and he was slowly getting better. The subject of Kagome did not come up unless Koga mentioned it to poke Inuyasha to try harder. Everyone knew where their priorities for saving her were, but the wolf prince felt it was up to him to invoke the `K' word and jump start Inuyasha's passion.

And so far apparently it worked. Inuyasha pushed himself to try and walk, to feed and wash himself. Kaede checked his wounds for him, and Miroku helped him with his exercises, but he was trying. Shippou worried he would exhaust his body to death. Inuyasha's exertions cost him almost all of his energy each day. Only one week had passed, but he was only barely mobile.

Shippou sighed and pressed his cheek to Inuyasha's chest. Perhaps tomorrow he could walk without help. And for that matter, maybe Koga could as well. They had to rescue Kagome before something untoward happened to her….

Inuyasha twisted in his futon, hissing in pain. Shippou watched him, wondering if he should get one of the other adults. He sometimes had these kind of nightmares, but Inuyasha needed his rest too. He was loathe to wake him, no matter how bad the dreams got.

Inuyasha was in emotional pain, twisting through haunted dreamscapes trying to find his mate. The mother of his pup needed him and it broke his heart he couldn't find her. He sobbed in his dream. Why? Why couldn't he go to her?

“Kagome!”

Miroku walked around the fields looking for Sango. She had said after dinner that she needed time to think and hadn't come back yet. Miroku was exhausted. But he knew he should look for his huntress lest she think he didn't care enough to look for her. Sometimes she got so depressed, and there was the matter of Kohaku…

Sango sat alone in the grass, watching lightning bugs fly around the blades of vegetation. Miroku gently stopped behind her and tapped his priest's staff.
Sango didn't look up. Miroku carefully sat at her side and laid an arm around her shoulders.

“Sango…are you all right?” he asked softly. Sango rubbed her eyes and looked up at her priest.

“Miroku…it just hurts so much….” She confessed, eyes wet in tears. Miroku touched her cheek softly, his own heart throbbing at her obvious pain. He tilted her chin up and kissed a tear from her cheek.

“What does?” he gently pried. Sometimes a simple question could open someone to discuss what they wanted to. Even if the recipient knew the topic of conversation already.

Sango shuddered and relaxed against his familiar warmth. “I thought maybe…no matter how many crimes Kohaku committed….that I could somehow save him.” Fresh tears cascaded down her face.

Miroku's eyes grew damp with concern and he held her close.

“Sango….he held a shard inside him…sooner or later someone may have taken it. His life was in jeopardy no matter what,” he coaxed. Sango sobbed out loud, beating a weak fist against his chest.

“I know that! Miroku, why are you saying things like that??”

Miroku rubbed her back gently. “I'm saying things like that because they are true. And your brother loved you dearly, even if he was under Naraku's influence. He saved himself at the end. He attacked Naraku in front of us.”

Sango clung to Miroku's robes and he let her ride out her emotions. He murmured soft words of love and comfort as her heart was allowed to grieve fully. They sat alone under the stars as cicadas chirped around them. Small lightning bugs landed on their clothing and lit on and off. Miroku smiled at the sight and rubbed Sango's back.

“I saved his mask,” Sango finally whispered. Miroku nodded knowingly.

“I saw….”

“I want to cremate it…and bury it with my family,” Sango said. Miroku nodded again.

“At your village? Of course…”

“Miroku, we should be married after all of this…. Once we have Inuyasha on his feet and Kagome-chan back….”

Miroku's heart beat faster and he touched her cheek lightly. “Of course we will be…. We can go live at my master's monastery and take it over after he dies….”

Sango shook her head firmly. “No. I'd like for us to live at my village.”

“Sango?”

“It is my home now, and I want our children to be raised there. We can remake it and we can help people like my clan did… we can….” Sango went on to try and convince her lover until Miroku smiled.

“I understand, Sango. I would be happy to live at your village with our family,” he promised. Sango's smile was bright and it warmed his heart. The two sat together long into the night until gradual embrace went a little further and the two struggled against each other, trying to move closer in passion. His bandaged hand tugged at her skirt and pulled at her kimono. Her small hands opened the tie to his robes and they pressed skin to skin, kissing desperately. Miroku's arms still felt sore and weak but he held Sango's light weight, lowering her to the grass. Her hands ran up his side and over his chest.

Miroku cried out in pain when Sango touched his ribs.

“I'm so sorry!” she gasped, under him. Miroku shook his head. His jaw was still dark blue from her punch at the battle, and his body housed a score of other light injuries. He managed a weak laugh as Sango stroked his side and belly, trying to arouse him.

“My sweet Sango, it may be the first time I must refuse your advances,” he laughed softly. Sango sighed and they kissed, clothing themselves. They walked back to Kaede's hut, stepping around Ginta and Hiko sleeping on her front walkway. They still had along way to heal. But they were getting there.

Sesshomaru stood in front of an open window in his personal chambers, feeling the night's breeze. The wind and every aspect of it would forever remind him of the confusing demoness with red eyes that still haunted his memory. She had involuntarily, and directly at other times, asked for his help. She wanted to be free, and as an underline, he knew she wanted to be free to love him.
This Sesshomaru could only lament that such a strong demon, even a demon that was an offspring of Naraku, was not strong enough to be free alone. He could not understand her restriction on strength, as he had acquired his own life's freedom by being the strongest. That she could not save herself proved she was not worthy to stand at his side as his mate.

Yet…late in the night like tonight… Sesshomaru could only remember the casual way she had last talked to him, kimono bared to her waist and hair undone. He had reluctantly saved her (and Rin, and his idiot goblin) from a stream's current and they had discussed Naraku briefly. Her inhibitions were bared as well as her ample breasts, and her gaze though cool, promised loyalty and affection to him. Sesshomaru wasn't weak enough to be brought senseless by a woman's bared body, but he found the offer she had involuntarily promised…. appealing.

It was too bad she wasn't strong enough as, say, a mere human girl. Sesshomaru smiled, feeling his member stir beneath his obi at the thought of his Woman. He had managed to procure kisses from her the past few days, and today's clumsy struggle for one had fired his blood to take her right then and there, maids be damned.

His dignitaries had been summoned and time was running out for Inuyasha's mark to remain on his intended. This Sesshomaru could no longer tolerate the stink of his half brother all over this strong human, and he was free to do something about it. Kagome Woman could weep and wail about betrayal, but it would be in her safety to accept his mark. There were lords and ladies coming who cared nothing for his late brother and would gladly murder her and her unborn child. Didn't she understand the sooner they went to bed together, she would be free to live without fear at his side? They wouldn't dare touch the Lady of the Western Lands without severe repercussions.

He was even allowing her to keep Inuyasha's child, though he wanted to crush the infant as soon as it was born. Kagome was a stubborn human, and would drag her heels further if he threatened Inuyasha's seed. So he was content to let her have one bedraggled half-breed with a quarter of his Father's blood, provided she accepted her role all the sooner.

It didn't mean he couldn't take her before her pregnancy took her body to bedrest. He had to mark her to show his retainers and vassals she belonged to him.

It had to be soon. This Sesshomaru was losing his mind to lust and passion for her and she didn't even want him. He wanted to make her try to accept and love him, but so far a week wasn't enough time. Time was running out for Kagome either way, and she had better understand it soon and take him into her.

“You would do well to love me, Kagome Woman,” Sesshomaru growled lightly. The night's breeze caressed him in response.

End for now
Yeah! Sorry for delaying a day. (laugh) I was exhausted last night, and well I almost fell asleep on my feet at work this morning. I'm just a bit too tired these days. But I think I'm a lazy, lazy fuck. But oh well, I would never try to disappoint you guys! I hope you enjoy what was in this chapter.

I tried to touch on everyone, as I realized I did not mention Koga at ALL in the last one. What was I thinking! That spirit search took a lot of my mind's energy, maybe that's the reason…yeah…

And look out, Kagome, there are a lot of ways I found when thinking on what Sessh could do to `fuck' her over, figuritively and literally. I found out I'm a very sick sick sicko at what I thought up. I'll try not to be too mean. I'd feel bad!

And I named the other wolf youkai Hiko because I could not remember his name! I know Ginta is the other one….

Heheh :P Thanks for reading! And please review. Reviews are your best friend!

Hey! I got chapter 13 to be 13 pages! How bout that, oh I slay me…

Sincerely yours, penpaninu 9/27/05
