HOPE

Naraku's castle

"Kagura" Naraku looked up at her from where her was crouched. His face was completely emotionless, "how did Menmmuru's awaking proceed? I assume Inuyasha handled it well?" He smiled.

The wind sorceress Kargura looked at him, frightened. Naraku had placed the shard of the Shinkon No Toma that had resurrected Menummuru. kagura thought that Menmmuru's awakening was meant to kill Inuyasha. There must be some deeper plan, what is Naraku up to?

Inuyasha, Miroku, Sango and Kagome all sat around a small campfire under the stars, reflecting on the events of the past few days. Both Shippo and Kilala lay sleeping. They talked late into the night, the conversation halting when Kagome and Inuyasha drifted to sleep. Leaving only Sango and Miroku awake.

Using his Shakajou to support himself as he stood he nodded to Sango. "my lady sango, I will keep the night watch, you would do well to get some rest." It was strange to her to hear Miroku speaking like that, Serous. The Battle with Menmmuru's Hench{woman}playing in his mind.

Ruri changed her and in to his and laughed. Realizing what power she had. Only upon drawing her knife she got careless and got sucked into her own wind tunnel

Miroku clenched his fist's, he had always known that his life could end if he ever got careless in using the wing tunnel. But the truth was, he had gotten so used to it he had almost forgotten about the curse.

"Hay Miroku." Kagome yawned and sat next to him, enjoying the night sky. It was always amazing to her how clear the night sky was, "are you ok? I mean..Sango's worried about you" her eyes lingered on his cursed hand.

Miroku stood, his head angled upwards towards the starlit sky. He smiled softly. "My dear Kagome, I can no longer in stay with you." He looked at Sango's sleeping form. " I refuse to put your lives on the line, I can no longer search for the pieces of the Shinkon No Toma."

"you don't need to leave Miroku, I have found a cure for the curse." Kagome extended her hand in it was a small black seed.

"Kagome..Is it true?"

"I made this seed using the Miko energy that Keade taught me. It's a doppelganger seed. It can change into any mystical object." She poked a hole in the ground and planted the seed. "It will take the form if the Tenseiga."

Miroku gasped, and after a moment doubt entered his mind. "but will it have the same power as the real one.?of the real Tenseiga?"

She frowned. Only if I could get the real one close enough to drain some of it's power and use it to heal you." She looked hopefully at him, she had been planing this for a long time.

Miroku rose his hand up to silence Kagome and her pointed his staff at the trees lining the dark forest." I see you there..If you value your life show yourself!" He readied himself as the silhouette of a man came into view..

Narakus Castle

" we will not only kill Inuyasha Kagura, This plan is about something better, ruling the world of..The future.."
