Ok I'm back to writing…..finally……I was so surprised at all the reviews after I had been off Mediaminer for so long, that I decided to start writing again! This is just a one-shot to test my writing skills, and if I'm happy enough with it I'll complete it! And I promise, it will be the biggest lemon I've seen EVER in a loooooong time!

 

This was the greatest day of his life.

 

Let's rewind a bit……

 

The girl of his dreams had just sat down with him and told him how she felt about him. She broke down and cried earlier that day, weeping tears that contained the knowledge that she knew that he could never feel the same way as she did. As she was crying, he grabbed her by the waist and pulled her down to his lap, hugging her protectively and fiercely. As she laid her head on his shoulder, she felt confused.

 

“Wait, Inuyasha, why are you doing this?” she said in between sniffles. “I thought you didn't like me?”

 

He pulled her away from him enough to look into her tear stained eyes. One hand remained on her waist while the other moved up to stroke her cheek.

 

“Kagome, I've love you too….I always have, since the first day I saw you, when you freed me from the arrows spell….you're all I have in this world, I don't want to leave you….”

 

As she absorbed what he said, her eyes grew bigger as she realized what he was saying. When the whole of it finally hit her, she smiled as her eyes lit up and secreted more tears, this time of joy, and vigorously embraced him in a tight hug. He held her equally tight and stroked her back after a minute. When she pulled away to look into his eyes, he smiled and wiped away a tear with a finger. They immediately plunged their heads forward and simultaneously met in a chaste kiss. As their lips met, he couldn't believe how soft and smooth her lips were. She wrapped her arms around his neck and straddled his lap, which at once caused a reaction they would never forget……..
