Her body was frozen in place. He was asking…no, DEMANDING her to go out on a date with him? What if her co-workers found out? She would be going against every fiber in her being if she gave into him. It just wasn’t fair!

He leaned down to her neck and inhaled deeply. “You will work over until everyone else has gone home. Then when everyone has left the office, you will come to me.”

See! Demanding! Her body betrayed her as her breath caught in her throat as his hot breath caressed her ear. She did manage to keep her hands from touching his body…at least until she could get her hormones under control. She really didn’t need someone to walk in and catch them in an even more embarrassing moment than it already was.

“Now you say ‘Yes, sir’,” he told her as he finally pulled back to look at her face. It was set in a scowl, and he could tell she was gritting her teeth behind those luscious lips. Kami, how he wanted to kiss those lips again, but he would be patient with her for the time being. He would give her a little time to think about it before he went to drastic measures.

“What are you going to do if I say no?” She smirked. “You gonna fire me?”

“Hmm,” he pondered, tapping his chin with a clawed finger. “I could.” He gave a serious look, although he could never do such a thing.

“You wouldn’t dare!” she shouted.

He chuckled. “Of course I wouldn’t. Then I’d have to find some other poor sap to be my bitch. I wouldn’t want that.” Again, he leaned down to inhale her scent, but this time she pushed him back.

“Stop that!” His breath on her neck was about to make her do something she might regret.

Her hands still pushing on his chest to keep him from getting any closer than she would allow, or at least he would let her think that she had some form of control. He looked at her flushed face and how hard she was trying to keep him at arms length, literally. He reached out a hand to use a claw to brush a stray hair from her eyes. “Not until you agree. I can keep this up as long as I need,” he told her in forced sincere voice.

She sighed and took her left hand off his chest to catch the hand that was caressing her face. “Fine, whatever you want, boss.” She wouldn’t give him the satisfaction of looking him in the eyes, however. He growled softly, giving her a warning that he knew she understood quite well from their previous fights. She gave him her own version of a growl and looked up, but keeping their eyes from meeting. “You’re wish is my command, boss.” She took a quick glance at his eyes. Damn, he was pissed. She quickly averted her eyes from his ice cold stare.

“When you submit, you look me in the eyes, bitch,” he warned her of further punishment in his voice.

“Fine,” she mumbled. Her eyes met his again. “I will do as you say, Mr. Takahashi.”

“That’s a good girl.” He finally let her go. “Now, you may go back to work. We’ve played long enough.”

She visibly relaxed as he moved away from her body to go sit at his desk. “Thank you, Mr. Takahashi. I’m going to be playing damn catch up all day now,” she mumbled the last part to herself.

He smiled. “It’s a good thing I asked you to stay over then, ne?”

Damn his over sensitive hearing. “You’re always thinking one step ahead.” She turned around to glare at him before opening the office door and taking her leave. She took a deep breath of cool air. The air was definitely too stuffy in that closed off space. She noticed that as she made her way back to her desk, a few of the demons looked up at her. It was no surprise that they would be able to smell what the humans around them couldn’t. This is so not going to go over well. She closed her eyes as she got to her desk and sat down, actually ready to do some real work.

The day was going by rather smoothly after the “battle” that took place that morning. She had actually been able to get most of her work done before lunch and was proud of herself for doing so. In fact, she decided that she deserved a longer lunch then she usually gave herself. Unforunately upon her return she saw something, or more like someone, that she didn’t really want to talk to. “Hey, Hojo. What’d ya need?” She asked in her polite work voice.

“I was just wondering what you were doing tonight. Since you seem to be having a bad day, I thought maybe you’d like to go out for drinks or something?”

“Hm, sorry, but I think you know as well as I do about the rules of the office.” She sat down at her desk, hoping that he would leave it at that. She really didn’t need any more stress today. She took a quick glance towards Inuyasha’s office and saw him watching her. Damn! “Besides, Mr. Takahashi asked me to stay over and get some extra work done.” She was glad she had some sort of excuse to give.

“Well, tonight is Valentine’s and doesn’t everybody deserve a good time? I just thought it would be nice to get out and have some fun.”

Damn, he was one annoying guy. He never did take the hint to just leave. “I think after having to put with Inu’s bullshit tonight, I’d rather just go home and relax.” She tried not let her temper flare and tell Hojo to just fuck off, but, he was making it REALLY difficult!

“Well, maybe…”

“HIGURASHI!”

She cringed as she heard the undertone of a growl in his voice. This was definitely not good. “Excuse me, Hojo.” She got up from her desk and tried not to see the faces that watched her walk of shame. She really thought she was going to have it easy after this morning. Damn Hojo! Damn Inuyasha! She was thinking this as she entered the doorway and was getting ready to close the door, when her thoughts were interrupted.

Damn, he really hated seeing that “Hobo” guy talk to Kagome. He knew that the guy had a crush on the girl. He watched them carefully, making sure nothing happened between the two. When it looked like the guy just wasn’t taking a hint, Inuyasha got up from his desk and went to the door. “HIGURASHI!” He hadn’t meant for it to come out so harsh, but he was pissed, not at her, of course. As she made her way to his office, though, he noted that she was nervous. He went to sit back down, to explain everything to her in a civil manner, but as she entered and went to close the door, he couldn’t help himself. Using the speed that his demon side gave him, he had the door closed and her body pinned against it as his lips attacked hers.

She couldn’t help the moan that escaped her throat this time. It was so surprising, she didn’t have time to even comprehend that she was smashed against the door that she had just been entering a second ago. She suddenly didn’t care if the entire world could she her now, all she knew was that her body was on fire…and she LOVED IT! Had it really been that long since she had been thoroughly kissed like this? Had she ever been kissed like this would be the more obvious question.

Inuyasha couldn’t help it, he was so wound up that he couldn’t wait to have her…at least another taste of her. His hands now under her thighs, lifted her legs to wrap around his waist as his hands moved around her waist to support her. Moving them away from the door, he took her to the desk and laid her down, his body leaning over hers.

She looked up at his face as he pulled back from the kiss. Her breath caught in her throat as she took in the appearance of his eyes, that were now tinged red. The only time she had seen them like that was when he was well and truly pissed off. Well, of course he is. He saw you “flirting” with Hojo. “Why are you mad?”

“Mad?” he repeated, still a little dazed from the make-out session. “Who the hell said I was mad?”

She shook her head. “I just kinda figured you were with the Hojo thing. Plus, you’re eyes are going red.”

He smirked and pushed his hips against hers, earning him a gasp from Kagome. “They turn for two reasons and anger is only one of them. The other is at the opposite end of the spectrum.”

She couldn’t help the air forcing its way out of her lungs when he thrust against her. It was only a natural reaction to the tingle it sent through her. Her mouth formed an “O” as he gave his reasoning and she suddenly couldn’t wait until tonight.

I wanted to get it posted it sooner, but I had little bit of writers block >< Plus, the hubby’s on overnights right now, so I’m trying to find time to get it typed around watching the baby. But, hopefully I’ll get it all posted by Valentine’s, and hopefully I won’t hit anymore rough spots seeing as I already have the next part planned out.
