`Glad that's over with' thought Kagome as she climbed out the well.

When she reached the top she didn't see the usual happy kitsune or the arrogant hanyou. Actually she didn't see the kitsune at all.

"Kagome" whispered Inu-Yasha as he knelt on one knee and held her hand as in proposal.

`Is he going to ask me? Is he going to propose?' thought Kagome excitedly that he is finally going to share his feelings.

"Kagome, will you-" he faltered

"Will you-" he faltered again

"Will I what?" she whispered softly

He swallowed his pride.

"Will you make me ramen?"

Ouch.

"SIT BOY"

* Thump *

"WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!"

`So munch for hope' thought Kagome as she walked away

"Sango"

"Yes, Inu-Yasha"

"If I want ramen, how should I ask Kagome?"

"I guess you kneel and hold her hand like this"

He ran out without thanks.

"Or was that how you propose?" said Sango thoughfully.
