"Hey Inu-Yasha!" shouted Kagome.

"What?" Inu-Yasha asked irritated.

"I'm just wondering, How was your past like?" Kagome asked.

"Huh? Why?"

"Because after all these times you haven't even told me how you grew up."

" I don't remember. Well, its not I would like to remember. Now ningen, stop asking stupid things!!" Inu-Yasha retorted

Kagome was shocked with Inu-Yasha's reaction. "I'm just asking! What's wrong with asking where you live?"

"Its because, I don't want to remember. I just want to forget … forget everything."

"Hey Kagome, you used to ride on Inu-Yasha, why? What happened? Did you had a quarrel? Sango asked.

"Its just because…" Kagome's reply was paused. "What the . . .?" Kagome started to ask Inu-Yasha.

Inu-Yasha caught the scent and growled "Brother . . . Miroku please hide. You and the others" Inu-Yasha turned around to Miroku "I want you to look after Kagome."

Miroku nodded "Come on, follow me"

"But . . ."Kagome protested.

"Kagome please? I want you safe." Inu-Yasha said, not looking at her. "I will end this stupidity."

"Well let me guess my dear brother, You still don't know how to use the Tetsusaiga right? What a waste so just hand it over." Sessho-Maru said.

"In your dreams Sessho-Maru! What do you think am I? Crazy! Im never going to give this to you." Inu-yasha shouted.

"Well maybe I have to use your Kagome." Sessho-maru said as he followed the scent of Kagome.

"You fool! Don't you even touch Kagome with your hands!" Inu-Yasha shouted as he followed Sessho-Maru deeper into the forest.

"Hey? Where did the others go?" Kagome looked around to see her companions but they were gone. Kagome heard a noise around the bush. "Who is it? Sango-san, Miroku, Shippo-chan ! Where are you!!!"

"Die" a cold, drawling voice said.

" Who is it come out and face me?!" said Kagome. A shadow came out from a tree.
