~*~ The Flower Crowns ~*~


I was sitting in the grass fields with Sango, Miroku, and of course Inuyasha beside me. Me and Sango were making flower crowns while the boys were in a light sleep. Oh, thats right, Shippo was helping Kaede heel the villagers that were hurt during the war with Naraku. Everything became much peaceful in the feudal era ever since Naraku and his re-carnations were dead. Inuyasha was laying behind me, while Miroku was laying behind Sango.

"Sango, are you sure it's ok to have Miroku lay behind you?"

I questioned my beloved friend. Sango turned around and looked at the sleeping face behind her and smiled.

"Don't worry, Kagome. Miroku and I had a long chat about his perverted ways."

We both let out a smile and a giggle. Once we both finished our crowns, we looked at eachother, then at the guys, and then back at eachother and laugh. I lightly placed the crown I made on top of Inuyasha's head. He looked so cute in it. I giggled a little and touch his silvery doggy ears. He twitch a bit, but I knew he was still sleeping.

"What are you going to do with your crown, Sango?"

" Hmm...I guess i'll take it to Kohaku's grave. I'm sure he'll like it"

Sango had a frown that was bairly noticible but I noticed it in a second. I put my hands around my friend and said, "I was sorry we werent able to save her beloved brother." She pulled back a little and looked at me with a smile and said, "It's alright. It's not your fault. I'm just glad I was able to find out he remembered me all along." We both turned back to the guys we loved and smiled. Sango tickled Miroku's feet which caused him to kick and hit Inuyasha's head.

Inuyasha sprang up-wards, "What the hell!!! Miroku you bast-" before he was able to finish, Miroku was standing - still half asleep - and hit Inuyasha's head once more.

Inuyash's landed back on the ground and felt something hanging on his ears. Me and Sango burst out in laughter not being able to stop. Then all of a sudden a huge shadow covered our body's.

"KAGOME!!!!" Inuyasha let out in a huge burst.

" Oh no, Kagome, I think you better run!" Sango said still in laughter.

I didn't hestitate for one moment and ran as fast as I could through the forest.
