InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ InUyAsHa 1/2 ❯ Yin and Yang ( Chapter 1 )
"Sit! Seriously, Inuyasha, why can't you just nod and say I'll see you in two days?"
"Bitch! Cause we still have shards to find and all you're thinking about is going home. You'll have plenty of time to go home after we complete the jewel."
"Come on Inuyasha, I haven't been home in four days, I have a huge test, and I don't even know the material."
"Who the fuck cares! The world is not going to end because of some stupid test, but it will end if we don't get those jewel shards. Who knows what kind of mindless creeps have those shards. Think about Naraku here."
"Is that all you ever care about? Your revenge and your power?"
"No, that's not all I care about, but at least I care about something rational." Kagome sighed and shook her head in somewhat defeat.
"Whatever, Inuyasha, I'm going home."
"No, you're not."
"Yes I am!"
"No you're not!"
"Inuyasha, get out of my way, now!"
"Feh."
"Inuyasha, SIT!" thud
Kagome stood and looked at Inuyasha for a moment before she stepped over him and headed towards the well.
"That stubborn, selfish, annoying little…..Rrrr! Damn you, Kagome!"
"You know, Inuyasha, I agree with Kagome. If you just let her go, you two wouldn't get in so many fights ending with you in a crater." Miroku said quietly as he walked up to Inuyasha's still form. Inuyasha pried himself from the ground.
"I hate this thing!" the hanyou screamed yanking at the beads around his neck. "If I didn't have this thing, she wouldn't be so tough. I'd like to see how'd she react if she had it on." Inuyasha had an almost sinister glint in his eyes as he thought of the possibilities.
"I can understand the reason for it though," Sango said, walking closer to hear their conversation. "From what I hear, you attacked her when you two first met. Not to mention, think of those time when you lose yourself to the demon blood. Although you may not like it, it's necessary."
"Necessary my ass! She's sadistic! She has no reason to do this to me anymore, now that I-- I need her to …. to find the shards…" His words trailed of as he looked towards the well. Sango and Miroku stood back and watched as Inuyasha brooded.
Just as Miroku was about to make another comment, he sensed a powerful demon. Dimly he wondered why Inuyasha hadn't noticed it. Usually the hanyou sensed stuff like this way before he could. Before Miroku could warn anyone of a possible danger, an arrow shot past him, just grazing his ear and landed right in Inuyasha's ass.
"Ahhh ! Fuck that hurrrr…..*thud*" Inuyasha fell face down to the ground. Sango and Miroku rushed towards the unconscious half demon, but before they could reach him, a blinding light surrounded Inuyasha's body. The light was so bright, they had to shield their eyes from it. A large gust of wind picked them up and thrust them across the clearing, then everything was still.
When the dust settled down, Sango and Miroku couldn't believe their eyes. Laying before them were two people. Both wore Inuyasha's red Hidori and both were very familiar.
One looked very much like the lord of the western lands, Sesshomaru, but with very obvious differences. The stripes Sesshomaru usually wore were different, in size, shape and color, and this person most definitely had Inuyasha's face.
The other was Inuyasha in the form he had during the night of the new moon. This fact baffled the two who were still conscious, for the moon was close to the full moon stage. That and the fact that it was still broad daylight.
When Miroku took a step forward, the Sesshomaru lookalike's eyes popped open. Slowly, he sat up and shook his head as if to clear his mind. Looking over to the body next to his, his eyebrow arched up, as if surprised. He then looked toward the houshi and the demon hunter, who were still looking at him cautiously. He stood up and stretched, then turned and grinned at the two maliciously.
"Finally, I'm free of that dirty human blood. Now it's time to have some fun." He started towards Sango and Miroku.
