A/N: Every new story has a new kind of evil. I don't own Inuyasha or Blade.

Inuyasha got onto his motorcycle and fastened his helmet as he started it up. "You ready to go?" He looked at Kagome as she walked over to him and got on behind and wrapped her arms around his chest, holding on tight.

"Yep." With that Inuyasha hit that gas, sending them speeding down the street into the darkness of the night.

Twenty minutes later...

The motorcycle slowed to a stop. Kagome stepped off and walked to the door. Using one of her claws, she picked the lock and opened the large doors. Inuyasha drove slowly passed Kagome and she jumped back onto the bike. The hanyou made his way to the center of the warehouse before turning the pick off and getting off. "Hello?!" he yelled. "Is anybody here?"

In response, all of the lights in the building turned on at once to reveal Blade, Abi, and King standing in front of a wall that was covered with weapons. "Yo! Dogboy!"

Inuyasha and Kagome ran over and stopped next to their old allies. "Why are we here, King?" Inuyasha was beginning to get impatient.

"Have you ever heard of a werewolf?" King looked from Inuyasha's face to his ears, then back to his face. "Right...(clears throat) well. Werewolves are people that can change into large wolves at will."

"Doesn't it have to be a full moon?" Kagome asked, giggling at Kings Awkwardness.

"No, the legends were wrong. Similar to how they were wrong about Drake. They don't transform into wolf monsters. Just very large wolves," Abi said as she stepped forward.

"So how do we kill them?" Inuyasha asked, cracking his knuckles.

"Silver bullets can take these suckers out, but destroying their hearts or brains is more effective. That's why we called you. That's your specialty, isn't it?"

"Keh."

"The problem is that they don't ash so if we hit them with silver, there's still a chance that they can just pull the bullet out and be fine. That's why on future missions, we will only be using explosive rounds filled with a concentrated liquid silver nitrate. It's not as flashy as turning them to ash but it will do the trick."

"How do we find them?" Kagome asked as she examined one of the new bullet in her hand.

"They live in packs. This means that if we find one, we find a lot of them." Abi walked to one side of the wall and picked up a large rifle. "Kagome, we want you practice with one of these. It's not as fun as a bow and arrow, but it's what works with our new strategy. It's a sniper rifle with laser sight, and adjustable scope. The scope has different modes. Infrared, heat sensing, and night vision."

Kagome took the weapon and lifted it the scope up to her eye, testing the different lenses. "Cool."

"Inuyasha, because of your unique strength we're going to say that from now on the only gun you should carry is your side arm." King walked over to a table covered table and removed the large piece of black cloth. "These will be your new weapons."

Inuyasha walked over to the table and looked at the large assortment of silver knives, swords, and glaives. "Just blades?"

"Yep, your strong point is your aim, speed, and power. You can destroy a werewolf with no trouble at all. We're giving you a choice of any type of sword to replace Tessaiga. We think it's best if you don't have it." King pointed to the row of swords.

"But, Tessaiga is the only thing sealing his demon blood." Kagome looked at King with an unspoken question in her eyes,

"That's the point. We need something more than just silver bullets now. Inuyasha's it." Blade explained, picking up a Bloodbath glaive and placing it in its holster.

Kagome looked to Inuyasha who met her gaze. Then, both hanyous nodded. "Let's go," they said simultaneously.
