A/N: This Fanfic takes place after the "Inuyasha: The Castle Beyond the Looking Glass" and "Blade" I don't own either of these movies or the cheractors in them so don't sue me.
It had been ten days since she had kissed him. They hadn't talked about it much but it had become awkward between them. The only time either of them had enough courage to talk it was to coment on random things such as the weather or how good ramen tastes. She was on his mind constantly. Hw was worried.
"She must hate me," he sighed to him self from his spot on the sacred tree, Goshinboku. 'But she was the one who kissed you.' the small voice in his head argued.
"You ok?" asked the young woman from below the tree. He looked to see Kagome looking up at him, worry filling her eyes.
"Keh" he looked away. "I'm fine."
"You sure?"
'That's my Kagome. Always thinking of everyone else.' he sighed. 'I need to say something.'
He jumped down landind lightly on his feet right next to where she was standing. "Uh, Kagome listen. About the other day..."
She looked down. "I know."
"I mean... uh..."
"Inuyasha I know what your going to say and I meant everything that I did and said that day."
He flushed. "I..."
"In my time there's something that we humans call a date."
"Huh?" his ear flicked in his confusion.
She smiled slightly remembering that he had some canine tendancies. "A date is when a boy and a girl go somewhere to eat and have fun."
"Um... ok." he said, still confused.
"Inuyasha..." she flushed. "Will you go on a date with me?"
He turned about three shades redder and began to panic. He looked for a way out, but there was none. Finnaly he caved. "Fine." he sighed.

Two days later...
Inuyasha and Kagome were on their first "date" together and the tension between them could be cut with a knife. The honestly had nothing to do. In the modern era Inuyasha refused to eat anything but the freeze dried ramen and Kagome was too afraid to take him to the movies because he wasn't used to all of the flashing lights and the movie might scare him into making a huge scene.
At this point all they were doing was walking around town looking through the windows at different stores.
"Hey Kagome look..." he said running over to the window of a small a grocery store. "... Kagome?"
He heard a loud roaring sound and spun around to see a man on a strange metal thing that looked similar to Kagome's "bike" thing. The man had grabbed Kagome and was now speeding away. The man was fallowed a few seconds later by another man with darker skin and a long coat and a sword. The second man was on a similar machine. Without hesitation Inuyasha leapt into action jumping from building to building after the to men.
"Inuuuuuyaaaashaaaa!!! HEEEEELP!!!" Kagome screamed.
His eyes flashed red and he made a dive for the man on the first machine, sending the man as well as Kagome flying. The man recovered in time to land on his feet without harming him self or Kagome. He looked at Inuyasha surprised, seeing his ears.
"What are you?"
"Put her down!" Inuyasha growled drawing Tessiaga. Suddenly the second man stopped next to Inuyasha and got off of his machine. He started slowly walking toward the man who had Kagome. The mans grip around Kagome's neck tightened.
"One more step, Daywalker, and I kill her." With that all of Inuyasha's protective instints kicked into over drive as he lunged at the man holding Tessaiga up ready to strike, but the man was to fast. He jumped to the side landing out of Inuyasha's stiking range. As he landed he moved Kagome's head to the side for easy access to her jugular and bit into her neck drawing blood.
"Die, suckhead." said the other man. Inuyasha turned to see the man pull an oddly shaped object from his coat and aim it at the man who was biting Kagome. The mans finger moved and the other man burst into flame and ashes leaving Kagome on the ground... bleeding.
