I do not own inu-yasha or any of the characters of inu-yasha. I have my own OC characters in the story . it took me and my sister oxcab 5 years to do draw out and finally write out. Hahahah funny huh so I hope you enjoy.

TIME STREAM

Shippo sat beside the fire pit slowly turning his little toy top his big blue eyes staring at a knot in the wood flooring seeing yet not really seeing as his mined drifted into the past.

Kaede: is they're something bothering you Shippo-Chan

Shippo:huh…oh nothing just thinking

Kaede: you're never this quite even when you are thinking

As she poked the fire with her cooking poker while using her left hand to lightly hit the small of her back old age getting the better of her.

Shippo: obaasan (grandma) Kaede

As he took a sit beside her rolling the top from one hand to the other

Kaede: you know Shippo-Chan you can tell me anything that's on your mined

Placing a grandmotherly hand on his head and ruffling his fiery red hair

Shippo: the Thunder Brothers I always wondered way they killed my father… he would never over step anther demon even with the Shikon shards…h-he was a good man why did they do that to him

Tears ran down his cheeks as Kaede pulled him into her arms, rocking him and cooing to him softly. In the background Inuyasha mocked them snobbishly moving his hand like a mouth up and down as he laid on his side with his back to them.

Inuyasha: quit your wining brat he died fighting didn't he

Kaede: didn't your mother do the same for you Inuyasha

Inuyasha: feh blah, blah, blah shut up you old hag

Kaede: come Shippo-Chan I want to show you something

They walked over to a small corner cubby on the other side of the hut her knees popped and cracked as she bend down to pull out an old scroll

Kaede: this scroll holds a spell that will help us see what really happened to your father

Unrolling the scroll and bring it close then pulling it back a little narrowing her eye

Kaede: the words are a little faded but I think I can manage

Placing the scroll on the floor holding it down with her right while lifting her left hand moving it in small circles as she said the words.

Inyasha: I'm go-ing

Light began to form under him as Kaede mumbled the words she was reading from the scroll.

Kaede: Toki e Kako Toki e Kako Toki e Kako (time to past time to past time to past) Toru Watashi Senaka Toru Watashi Senaka Toru Watashi Senaka (take me back, take me back, take me back) or is it zenpoo e shiawase (forward to future)

Just as she repeated the words the light got brighter and brighter under Inu-yasha as he slowly started sinking into the ground like if it was quick sand. He tried moving his arm but it was already deep in the floor. He kept pulling and tugging but he started sinking quicker and quicker until him and his sword was completely gone.

Kaede: oh I'm guessing it didn't work

Inuyasha: yooouuuuu!!!! Old hag!!!!

His voice quickly faded as the light closed up on him. Inu-yasha was in a swirling vortex of blue and white.

Inuyasha: now I know how kagome's toilet feels (is it a toilet? well that thing that spins) [echo].

Inu-yasha started falling faster and faster until he saw an end or the vortex. Inuyasha fell through the hole at the end of the vortex. He fell and hit the ground as hard as if Kagome sat him. He looked up at the vortex closing and he saw a flash of red leap into the vortex.

Inuyasha: stupid old hag doesn't know what the hell she's doing.

Inuyasha heard a scream from over the bushes. Inuyasha looked over the bushes out of curiosity and saw a beautiful young lady holding a child. The sword started pulsing, he looked at the sword and he had a feeling that he had to help this girl. He looked back over the bushes to see what she was screaming for. He saw the villagers holding their farming tools walking toward her.

Inuyasha: why the hell does this look so familiar.

With out asking or thinking about questions he jumped over the bushes and unsheathe his sword and then slashed a near by tree. He landed in front of the villagers and gave them a smirk.

Inuyasha: so you think you could scare a poor girl then you're going to have to go through me.

Villager 1: she's a demon lover

Villager 2: and the damn half-breed she has.

Inuyasha turned around as quick as he could. He saw the girl holding her child, he had white hair and dog like ears. The girl looked up at him she had pin straight black hair her soft kind brown eyes and the blue and pink kimono she wore.

Inuyasha: m..mo…mother
