Naraku’s back!

~*~The Beginning of Summer Time~*~ (A/N: yes I boosted it to summer time)
Kagome, Inu Yasha, Sango, and Miroku were heading to the beach. Kagome and Inu Yasha agreed that they were going to get married before school started. Kagome smiled softly as they were walking down to the beach she was wearing a green bikini with a pink flower on her right side of her top. Sango had a pink and white strip bikini top.
Sango and Kagome rushed into the water laughing as Inu Yasha and Miroku joined them once they set everything down. They played in the ocean for a good hour or two they finally relaxed cause Naraku has not attacked them for six months and they thought it was great so they finally were having a good time.
After awhile they got out and went to eat their lunch they packed. “So you wanna stay here til the sunsets?” Inu Yasha asked. Kagome and Sango nodded “It will be romantic,” Kagome said. Sango agreed Inu Yasha smiled. “Alright we will stay til sunset,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome squealed in delight. Inu Yasha chuckled.
Once the sun started going down Kagome leaned against Inu Yasha as he wrapped his arms around her protectively. Sango and Miroku were snuggled up to each other Sango looked at Kagome like tell him already. Kagome nodded “Inu Yasha,” Kagome said softly. Inu Yasha looked at her “hmm? What’s up?” He asked. Kagome smiled she grabbed his hand and placed it on her stomach. “I’m pregnant,” She said. Inu Yasha’s eyes widen and a big smile crossed his face.
“Seriously I’m gonna be a father?” Inu Yasha asked. Kagome nodded and he kissed her deeply. “Congrats Inu,” Miroku said. They got up and gathered the stuff Inu Yasha wrapped his arm around Kagome’s waist as they walked to the car. They got in and Inu Yasha drove off he dropped Sango and Miroku at their apartment. As Inu Yasha and Kagome drove back home.
Kagome smiled as they walked in “Dad, Mom, I need to talk to you,” Inu Yasha said. Taishou and Izayoi walked in “What is it son?” Taishou asked. Sesshomaru followed shortly in. Kagome got a little nervous and Taishou and Sesshomaru smelt it and smiled softly. “Dad, mom I’m gonna be a father,” Inu Yasha said proudly. “Well congratulations son,” Taishou said. Izayoi got up and hugged Kagome smiling big. “I’m so proud I get to be a grandmother finally!” Izayoi said.
“Careful mother,” Inu Yasha joked. Izayoi pouted and giggled. Kagome yawned. “Inu I think I’m gonna go take a bath and call it a night,” Kagome said. Inu Yasha nodded and kissed Kagome goodnight “I’ll be in there a bit later get some rest you’ll need it with my pup inside you,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome just shook her head and headed down the hallway to their room. She slowly stripped her clothes one by one as she walked into the bathroom and started the shower.
After the shower she slowly got out of the bathroom and dried herself off and got into her pajamas she walked into the bedroom and saw Inu Yasha already in his pajamas “Inu Yasha I do want to graduate how are we gonna take care of a kid and still go to school?” Kagome asked. “My parents and I talked it over since you will be giving birth before our senior year of High school, Mom and dad will watch our pup while we go to school,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome nodded.
“What about getting our place?” Kagome asked. “It’s all set up don’t worry,” Inu Yasha said, “Dad is taking care of the expenses til we get on our feet Mom will come over and take our pup here and we will pick our pup up from school,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome smiled softly and snuggled up to Inu Yasha. As the morning rose on the engaged couple it was a bright sunny day. Kagome’s stomach growled “Pup is hungry,” Inu Yasha smirked.
Kagome looked at him and smiled “Than better feed your pup,” She smirked. Inu Yasha took Kagome and carried her to the kitchen she giggled. Taishou was cooking breakfast “Morning you two,” Izayoi said. “Morning,” They both said. Kagome sat down as they had breakfast served as they chatted and laughed. “So what is your plans for tonight?” Taishou asked. Kagome smiled and shrugged. “Going shopping gotta spoil my girl and our pup,” Inu Yasha said.
“You know you spoil me to much sometimes,” Kagome said. Inu Yasha cocked an eyebrow “You like it though,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome sighed “Sometimes I do but don’t do it all the time especially now that I am pregnant,” She said. Inu Yasha sighed and nodded “Alright let’s go we got a lot to do thanks dad see you later,” Inu Yasha said.
About four hours later Inu Yasha pulled up to a beautiful brick house. “Wow its beautiful why we here?” Kagome asked “Welcome to our new home,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome’s eyes widen “Really this is our house?” Kagome squealed. Inu Yasha nodded and she got out ran to the door where Sesshomaru opened up “Welcome,” Sesshomaru said. “SURPRISE!!!” They yelled.
Kagome squealed and hugged Inu Yasha he chuckled. “We made sure all suspense was paid for your house is yours officially,” Taishou said. Kagome hugged Taishou “Thank you Mr. Takashi!” She said. He chuckled and hugged Kagome back “Call me dad your gonna make me feel old,” Taishou said. Kagome nodded as they sat around and opened gifts.
“Alright let’s show you the rooms,” Izayoi said. She grabbed Kagome’s hand as they walked down the hallway it was wooden walls and white carpeting. They walked to the first room and opened the door “This is the baby room,” Izayoi said, “Me, Rin, and Ami did it for you.”
Kagome eyes widen as she saw the room painted white with yellow trimmings. Kagome’s got teary eyed and she saw the crib and changing table. Kagome hugged all three of them. “Thank you so much,” Kagome said. Inu Yasha walked in “It looks great thanks, Kags come on time for you to see the master room,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome took Inu Yasha’s hand as they walked into their master bedroom it was painted red and gold trimming the bed was one of the king size canopy bed.
It had a gold curtain around the posts and the sheets were red satin pillows cases where gold “Wow the room looks fanatics!” Kagome said. The carpet was white and gold she smiled softly as they walked into the master bathroom marble sinks the tub was huge for about three people to fit in and a shower head “Wow oh my its big!” Kagome said. Inu Yasha smiled the walls where same color as bedroom with wooden floors.
Kagome yawned “Alright everyone my fiancee needs her and the pups rest we will call you in the morning,” Inu Yasha said. As they walked everyone out and waved good bye. Inu Yasha picked Kagome up and took her to their room. He laid Kagome down after pulling the sheets back. “Sleep well my love,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome nodded and kissed Inu Yasha good night and fell asleep instantly.
Inu Yasha got in and fell asleep holding Kagome close to him. As morning rose the next day it wasn’t as beautiful as they wished it was it was dark and cloudily a storm was heading there way. Kagome woke up feeling ill “You okay?” Inu Yasha asked. Kagome shook her head no “I don’t feel well I think I’m gonna stay home today if that’s okay with you I know we were suppose to eat,” Kagome said she was cut off soon. “It’s alright Kags my parents will understand us not showing cause of your health,” Inu Yasha said.
Kagome nodded “But I do feel bad about not showing.” Kagome started coughing up a storm. Inu Yasha got up and got a glass of water and brought it to Kagome. “You stay in bed rest and I will be with you all day or if I have to leave I will make sure Sango will be here to help take care of you,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome nodded and took the drink of water and fell asleep. Inu Yasha called Sango “Hey Sango Kagome is ill so if you could come over and be around here if I leave,” Inu Yasha said. Sango agreed and hung up.
Sango was over in a couple of hours. Inu Yasha was sitting in the living room watching TV a pregnant Kagome was laying on the couch with a blanket and a cloth on her forehead “how you feeling Kagome?” Sango asked. Kagome coughed, “Sick.” Sango frowned a bit “Sorry hun,” Sango said. Inu Yasha turned the channel “I’ll be going out soon to run a errand with my father Sango will stay here keep you company and make sure she don’t get up!” Inu Yasha said. Kagome sighed softly.
“I will,” Sango said. Inu Yasha got up kissed Kagome on the forehead and took off. Kagome slowly sat up “I wish he didn’t treat me like a baby,” Kagome said.
~*~3 months later~*~
Kagome held her big stomach “Your pups are hurting me!” Kagome whined. Kagome only had three more months to go since she was delivering hanyou babies. Inu Yasha chuckled and rubbed Kagome’s stomach “Now pups behave for your mother,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome grunted “This is your fault!” Kagome said. Kagome glared at him. “My fault my fault!?! how is it my fault?” Inu Yasha asked. Kagome gave him a look “YOU GOT ME PREGNANT!!” Kagome screamed.
Inu Yasha winced at the scream “You were so happy about it earlier!” Inu Yasha said. Kagome groaned “That was before your pups decided to play soccer in my stomach,” Kagome said. Inu Yasha chuckled and helped her up from the chair she was sitting on and watched her wobble to the bathroom. “Your very cute you know that right?” Inu Yasha called out. “I know,” Kagome said.
After awhile “Inu Yasha I want ice cream and pickles,” Kagome said. Inu Yasha nodded “I’ll be right back I got to go to the store,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome nodded and kissed Inu Yasha. Inu Yasha took off to the store while Kagome was in the kitchen getting a glass of milk she heard a thud. “Inu Yasha did you forget something?” She called out no answer.
She looked around the kitchen locking the kitchen door that went to the basement she than walked out to the living room looked around locked the front door she called Inu Yasha. “Honey did you make that thud?” Kagome asked. When she heard Inu Yasha say no she heard it again. “Inu come home quickly I think someone’s inside the house,” Kagome said scared.
Inu Yasha heard the fear in his mate’s voice and didn’t like it. “Calm down I’ll be home as soon as possible,” Inu Yasha said and hung up. Kagome grabbed a bat and started to walk around looking in every room she soon sighed in relief when she saw nothing. “Thought I forgot half breeds bitch!” The voice said. Kagome’s eyes widen and she turned around to see Naraku she screamed bloodily murder. Naraku chuckled and grabbed Kagome.
She fought against him as much as he could “Now, now Kagome don’t want to upset your pups,” Naraku said. Kagome backed against the wall. “STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY FROM ME!!!” She screamed. Naraku chuckled again he than moved his hand and grabbed her throat and started to choke her “Your mine Half Breed’s bitch,” Naraku said. Soon the door opened “Kagome!?” Sesshomaru called out.
Naraku cursed and let Kagome go. She started coughing for air “Sesshomaru!” She managed to get out in coughs and Naraku disappeared. Sesshomaru could smell Naraku was in the air “Where is the bastard Kagome?” He asked when he got to Kagome. “He disappeared right when you arrived,” Kagome said. Sesshomaru kneeled down to Kagome “Can you stand?” Sesshomaru asked.
Kagome tried to she cried out in pain from what Naraku has done and ended up passing out in Sesshomaru’s arms. “Shit not good,” Sesshomaru said. He picked Kagome up carefully and took her out of the house Inu Yasha just pulled up. “KAGOME!!!” Inu Yasha yelled. “We need to get her to the hospital quickly Naraku attacked her,” Sesshomaru said. Inu Yasha growled he was furious now he took Kagome from Sesshomaru and they headed to the hospital.
Kagome went straight to the ER. Inu Yasha frantically waiting everyone came right away when they heard the news. “That damn Naraku I can’t believe he’s back,” Miroku said. Inu Yasha was pissed “It’s all my fault I let my guard down and now Kagome is in ER,” Inu Yasha said. He cursed. His dad put his hand on his shoulder “Calm down we will get rid of Naraku once and for all,” Taishou said. Inu Yasha nodded.
They waited for two hours which seemed like eight to Inu Yasha. “Kagome is going to be fine she has a couple scrapes and bruises looks like she fought who ever did this the babies are fine she’s fine she’s resting she is being admitted to a room for the night and you can take her home tomorrow morning,” The doctor said. They sighed in relief. “What room she is?” Inu Yasha asked. “She is in room number 210 you may go see her,” The doctor said.
Inu Yasha and the others went to Kagome’s room. Inu Yasha grabbed Kagome’s hand. “Kagome?” He asked. Kagome slowly opened her eyes. “I - Inu Yasha,” Kagome managed to get out. “It’s alright now I’m here I am so sorry I should not have left you alone,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome smiled softly killed him a little more. “Please don’t be you didn’t know I didn’t know at least now we know he’s still out there,” Kagome said.
About four hours later Taishou and Sesshomaru came up with an idea and decided that Kagome and Inu Yasha move back home til pups are born and Naraku is gone for good. Kagome had fallen asleep on them. “I’m staying the night with her,” Inu Yasha said. They nodded.
“Son I think you and Kagome should come back home til Naraku is finally gone for your safety her safety and the pups,” Taishou said. Inu Yasha nodded in agreement. “Will you and the others bring our clothes back home we will leave everything else there but the clothes,” Inu Yasha said.
Taishou nodded and they left as Inu Yasha watched his love, his mate sleep the night away. Inu Yasha vowed never to leave her side not even for a minute especially with their unborn pups still in her. Kagome woke up the next morning she looked at Inu Yasha who was sleeping soundly his hand never letting go of hers. Kagome reached over and kissed Inu Yasha.
He slowly opened his eyes. “Good morning,” Kagome said. Inu Yasha smiled “Morning love,” Inu Yasha said. After a few hours Kagome was released Taishou and Sesshomaru came to pick them up. They got in and went back to his parents house. Kagome went to rest as for Inu Yasha went into the living room and talked with his dad and brother.
~*~One month later~*~
Kagome was getting bigger now considering she was on her fifth month now. She never admitted to Inu Yasha or the others she is scared shit-less for Inu Yasha and her unborn pups. She was being distant between Inu Yasha and Inu Yasha was not liking it at all. “Kags tell me what’s wrong why are you starting to get distant from me?” Inu Yasha asked. Kagome looked at him like he was funny. “I’m not being distant Inu I’m just in pain cause of our pups kicking me,” Kagome said. Inu Yasha gave a low growl “Don’t lie to me Kagome tell me the truth!” Inu Yasha demanded.
Kagome glared “IT’S NOTHING INU YASHA STOP WORRYING!” She yelled. Kagome slowly got up and left the room leaving a shocked Inu Yasha standing there. Kagome walked fast through the hallway and right into the living room Taishou and Sesshomaru smelt the salty tears. Kagome quickly left through the front door. “KAGOME!” Inu Yasha called out and went after her.
“Son what did you do?” Taishou asked. Stopping Inu Yasha in his tracks. “Nothing! All I asked her was one stupid fucking question why she was being distant!” Inu Yasha shouted. “You baka!” Sesshomaru said. Inu Yasha growled “You are one to talk Rin won’t speak to you since you knocked her up she wont even come near you!” Inu Yasha yelled. Sesshomaru gave him a look.
Kagome was four blocks away from the house she started heading to the park. She was crying she started wincing in pain. Inu Yasha had taken off to find Kagome. She got to the park she sat on the swings wincing again. “Inu Yasha you baka I can’t tell you I don’t want to worry you,” Kagome said softly.
The clouds were dark and it started to rain on Kagome. Inu Yasha cursed when it started to down pour he ran faster he went to the park to find Kagome soaked head to toe from the rain still sitting on the swing “KAGOME!” Inu Yasha said. Kagome looked up and was about to run but she winced again and went to her knees. Inu Yasha ran to her and carefully picked her up.
“I’m sorry Inu Yasha forgive me please I didn’t want to admit to you that I was scared and didn’t feel totally safe,” Kagome cried and winced again. Inu Yasha hugged her “You baka that’s why you were distant you know I would never leave you your side,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome hugged him tight as she winced again her hair clung to her body along with her wet clothes. “Let’s go home,” Inu Yasha said.
Inu Yasha took off in a sprint to get Kagome home. When they arrived home Izayoi and Taishou ran to them helping them get dried off “Sesshomaru draw a warm bath for both of them now!” Taishou said. Sesshomaru did so. Kagome cried out in pain. “Kagome what’s wrong?” Izayoi asked. “The pups are restless and it’s hurting,” Kagome said.
“A nice bath will calm them down,” Taishou said. Inu Yasha and Kagome got into the tub and Inu Yasha pulled Kagome close to him as they relaxed “There is nothing to be scared about I will take care of you and the pups I will not let anything happen to you,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome nodded and relaxed in his arms “I’m sorry I was just thinking stupid,” Kagome said.
After they got out of the bathtub they got dressed in their pajamas. Kagome winced again and cried out in pain “Inu I - I think they are coming,” Kagome said in pain. “W - What?!?! now they are not suppose to come til next month!” Inu Yasha panicked. Kagome screamed in pain. Taishou, Izayoi ran quickly to Kagome’s scream “What’s wrong!?!” Izayoi asked. Inu Yasha looked at his parents “She’s in labor!” Inu Yasha shouted. Kagome cried out in pain and doubled over. Taishou cursed.
“We are getting you to the hospital right now,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome gripped his hand tightly “Inu we wont make it to the hospital in time they are coming now!” She screamed. “Lay her down on the bed Izayoi get hot clothes ready and cold water! SESSHOMARU call the family doctor now!” Taishou ordered. Kagome was placed on the bed carefully.
Kagome breathing heavily wincing. “Inu Yasha please tell me the pups are gonna be fine,” Kagome said. Inu Yasha didn’t know for sure himself. He held Kagome’s hand. “It will be okay Kagome everything will be fine,” Inu Yasha said. Sango and Miroku arrived hearing the news by Izayoi. Sango rushed in to help. “Okay Kagome your going to have to deliver soon,” Taishou said.
With four hours of screaming in pain. Kagome was having troubles breathing “She needs oxygen fast,” The doctor ordered. The paramedics put a mask around Kagome and started to get air for Kagome. “Everyone needs to get out now!” Doctor shouted. “What’s happening to Kagome?!” Inu Yasha ordered. Kagome couldn’t do it anymore she was getting too weak. She pushed out her first kid which was a boy than it took a couple more times as she was struggling she delivered a baby girl and another baby boy.
The paramedics quickly cleaned the babies up as one pup was very weak like it’s mother. They brought a stretcher in and took Kagome and the babies to the hospital. “What’s wrong with them!?” Inu Yasha shouted. “Kagome is barely hanging on and one of your pups is very weak we gotta go operate so they can survive,” The doctor said. Inu Yasha was frantic when he heard that.
At the hospital everyone again was sitting in ER it was five hours til the doctor came out. “Your son, and daughter are fine and are in the nursery for your other baby boy and mate they are in ICU they pull through both are just very weak,” The doctor said. Inu Yasha rushed to see his mate and son. Taishou thanked the doctor.
Kagome looked so pale so fragile she was hooked up to a lot of machines it scared the shit out of Inu Yasha. Kagome was resting Inu Yasha stayed by her side he than went to see his newborn pups with his mom and dad and he smiled “Wow I can’t believe how beautiful they look,” Inu Yasha said. Izayoi hugged her son “I’m proud of you,” Taishou said.
They than went to see his other son who was in the nursery ICU and his heart dropped like crazy he was scared and worried for his pup he could smell how weak his son was. “Is he gonna survive?” Inu Yasha asked “Doctors are doing everything in their power,” Taishou said.
Inu Yasha looked really sad his golden eyes full of sorrow he walked back to Kagome’s room and sat down watching his loved one sleep knowing one of his pups might not make it but his other pups are healthy he was happy about his other 2 pups at least he knew they were okay.
Five days later Kagome was taken out of ICU finally she was doing better she got to see her babies the little pup was still struggling to live but he was doing a little better than before. Kagome sat up and ate some hospital food. Inu Yasha walked in with some flowers “Hi,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome looked up and smiled, “Hi.”
Their two young ones laying in there own little bed beside Kagome. “I named them I want you to name our little one in ICU though,” Kagome said. Inu Yasha smiled and kissed Kagome “So what’s their names?” Inu Yasha asked. “Hinata and Taro,” Kagome said. Inu Yasha nodded “Perfect names for our little ones how about Sanosuke for our son in ICU,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome smiled softly “Survivor and fighter perfect for our little one,” Kagome said.
“Hello!” Izayoi said. Kagome smiled “Hi Mom Hi Dad,” Inu Yasha said. “I would like you to meet Taro, Hinata, and Sanosuke is in ICU,” Kagome said. Izayoi smiled and Taishou smiled as well. “Grandparents I feel old now,” Taishou chuckled.
Kagome smiled as she saw the gifts come in. “Inu Yasha tell me what happened a few days ago?” Kagome asked. Inu Yasha frowned he didn’t want to relive that day it was torture to him....
~*~*~Flashback~*~*~*~
Kagome was getting very weak and losing her battle to survive. Inu Yasha never left her side and prayed to Kami that she would survive it was a full moon which made him seem even more helpless. Soon he heard the heart monitor went flat “NO!!! KAGOME DON’T GIVE UP!!!!!!!” Inu Yasha yelled. The doctors and nurses rushed in and kicked Inu Yasha out as they did CPR and everything in their power to save her they finally got a steady heart beat.
~*~*END OF FLASHBACK~*~*
Kagome frowned “I’m sorry Inu Yasha for being weak,” Kagome said. Inu Yasha grabbed her hand “Don’t you apologize it wasn’t your fault okay and don’t blame yourself anymore got that,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome nodded. She laid her head on his hand “I love you,” Kagome said. Soon Rin, Sesshomaru, Sango, Miroku, and Ami walked in. “Hey guys,” Kagome smiled.
“So these two are my niece and nephew and can I see my other nephew or do I have to wait?” Sesshomaru asked. “If I didn’t know better I think your heart is changing there,” Inu Yasha teased. Sesshomaru growled “No I just don’t want my niece and nephews turn out to be weak like you,” Sesshomaru said. Inu Yasha growled back Kagome giggled.
Inu Yasha smiled when he heard Kagome giggle for the first time in a long time it was music to his ears. Kagome looked at him “When can we go home?” Kagome asked. “Bout four more days and your son has to stay til he is fully recovered,” Taishou said.
~*~*~*Month Later~*~*~*
Kagome and Inu Yasha were very tried the pups kept them up most of the time they didn’t have time for themselves and the wedding was coming up very soon. Kagome and Inu Yasha were sleeping soundly in their bed. After awhile they went to the hospital to pick up Sanosuke they finally got to take their son home. As they drove home Kagome smiled and hummed to the music playing. Inu Yasha parked his car when they got home “Welcome home son,” Inu Yasha said.

Sango and Miroku were snuggled up to each other Sango looked at Kagome like tell him already. Kagome nodded “Inu Yasha,” Kagome said softly. Inu Yasha looked at her “hmm? What’s up?” He asked. Kagome smiled she grabbed his hand and placed it on her stomach. “I’m pregnant,” She said. Inu Yasha’s eyes widen and a big smile crossed his face.
“Seriously I’m gonna be a father?” Inu Yasha asked. Kagome nodded and he kissed her deeply. “Congrats Inu,” Miroku said. They got up and gathered the stuff Inu Yasha wrapped his arm around Kagome’s waist as they walked to the car. They got in and Inu Yasha drove off he dropped Sango and Miroku at their apartment. As Inu Yasha and Kagome drove back home.
Kagome smiled as they walked in “Dad, Mom, I need to talk to you,” Inu Yasha said. Taishou and Izayoi walked in “What is it son?” Taishou asked. Sesshomaru followed shortly in. Kagome got a little nervous and Taishou and Sesshomaru smelt it and smiled softly. “Dad, mom I’m gonna be a father,” Inu Yasha said proudly. “Well congratulations son,” Taishou said. Izayoi got up and hugged Kagome smiling big. “I’m so proud I get to be a grandmother finally!” Izayoi said.
“Careful mother,” Inu Yasha joked. Izayoi pouted and giggled. Kagome yawned. “Inu I think I’m gonna go take a bath and call it a night,” Kagome said. Inu Yasha nodded and kissed Kagome goodnight “I’ll be in there a bit later get some rest you’ll need it with my pup inside you,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome just shook her head and headed down the hallway to their room. She slowly stripped her clothes one by one as she walked into the bathroom and started the shower.
After the shower she slowly got out of the bathroom and dried herself off and got into her pajamas she walked into the bedroom and saw Inu Yasha already in his pajamas “Inu Yasha I do want to graduate how are we gonna take care of a kid and still go to school?” Kagome asked. “My parents and I talked it over since you will be giving birth before our senior year of High school, Mom and dad will watch our pup while we go to school,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome nodded.
“What about getting our place?” Kagome asked. “It’s all set up don’t worry,” Inu Yasha said, “Dad is taking care of the expenses til we get on our feet Mom will come over and take our pup here and we will pick our pup up from school,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome smiled softly and snuggled up to Inu Yasha. As the morning rose on the engaged couple it was a bright sunny day. Kagome’s stomach growled “Pup is hungry,” Inu Yasha smirked.
Kagome looked at him and smiled “Than better feed your pup,” She smirked. Inu Yasha took Kagome and carried her to the kitchen she giggled. Taishou was cooking breakfast “Morning you two,” Izayoi said. “Morning,” They both said. Kagome sat down as they had breakfast served as they chatted and laughed. “So what is your plans for tonight?” Taishou asked. Kagome smiled and shrugged. “Going shopping gotta spoil my girl and our pup,” Inu Yasha said.
“You know you spoil me to much sometimes,” Kagome said. Inu Yasha cocked an eyebrow “You like it though,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome sighed “Sometimes I do but don’t do it all the time especially now that I am pregnant,” She said. Inu Yasha sighed and nodded “Alright let’s go we got a lot to do thanks dad see you later,” Inu Yasha said.
About four hours later Inu Yasha pulled up to a beautiful brick house. “Wow its beautiful why we here?” Kagome asked “Welcome to our new home,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome’s eyes widen “Really this is our house?” Kagome squealed. Inu Yasha nodded and she got out ran to the door where Sesshomaru opened up “Welcome,” Sesshomaru said. “SURPRISE!!!” They yelled.
Kagome squealed and hugged Inu Yasha he chuckled. “We made sure all suspense was paid for your house is yours officially,” Taishou said. Kagome hugged Taishou “Thank you Mr. Takashi!” She said. He chuckled and hugged Kagome back “Call me dad your gonna make me feel old,” Taishou said. Kagome nodded as they sat around and opened gifts.
“Alright let’s show you the rooms,” Izayoi said. She grabbed Kagome’s hand as they walked down the hallway it was wooden walls and white carpeting. They walked to the first room and opened the door “This is the baby room,” Izayoi said, “Me, Rin, and Ami did it for you.”
Kagome eyes widen as she saw the room painted white with yellow trimmings. Kagome’s got teary eyed and she saw the crib and changing table. Kagome hugged all three of them. “Thank you so much,” Kagome said. Inu Yasha walked in “It looks great thanks, Kags come on time for you to see the master room,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome took Inu Yasha’s hand as they walked into their master bedroom it was painted red and gold trimming the bed was one of the king size canopy bed.
It had a gold curtain around the posts and the sheets were red satin pillows cases where gold “Wow the room looks fanatics!” Kagome said. The carpet was white and gold she smiled softly as they walked into the master bathroom marble sinks the tub was huge for about three people to fit in and a shower head “Wow oh my its big!” Kagome said. Inu Yasha smiled the walls where same color as bedroom with wooden floors.
Kagome yawned “Alright everyone my fiancee needs her and the pups rest we will call you in the morning,” Inu Yasha said. As they walked everyone out and waved good bye. Inu Yasha picked Kagome up and took her to their room. He laid Kagome down after pulling the sheets back. “Sleep well my love,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome nodded and kissed Inu Yasha good night and fell asleep instantly.
Inu Yasha got in and fell asleep holding Kagome close to him. As morning rose the next day it wasn’t as beautiful as they wished it was it was dark and cloudily a storm was heading there way. Kagome woke up feeling ill “You okay?” Inu Yasha asked. Kagome shook her head no “I don’t feel well I think I’m gonna stay home today if that’s okay with you I know we were suppose to eat,” Kagome said she was cut off soon. “It’s alright Kags my parents will understand us not showing cause of your health,” Inu Yasha said.
Kagome nodded “But I do feel bad about not showing.” Kagome started coughing up a storm. Inu Yasha got up and got a glass of water and brought it to Kagome. “You stay in bed rest and I will be with you all day or if I have to leave I will make sure Sango will be here to help take care of you,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome nodded and took the drink of water and fell asleep. Inu Yasha called Sango “Hey Sango Kagome is ill so if you could come over and be around here if I leave,” Inu Yasha said. Sango agreed and hung up.
Sango was over in a couple of hours. Inu Yasha was sitting in the living room watching TV a pregnant Kagome was laying on the couch with a blanket and a cloth on her forehead “how you feeling Kagome?” Sango asked. Kagome coughed, “Sick.” Sango frowned a bit “Sorry hun,” Sango said. Inu Yasha turned the channel “I’ll be going out soon to run a errand with my father Sango will stay here keep you company and make sure she don’t get up!” Inu Yasha said. Kagome sighed softly.
“I will,” Sango said. Inu Yasha got up kissed Kagome on the forehead and took off. Kagome slowly sat up “I wish he didn’t treat me like a baby,” Kagome said.
~*~3 months later~*~
Kagome held her big stomach “Your pups are hurting me!” Kagome whined. Kagome only had three more months to go since she was delivering hanyou babies. Inu Yasha chuckled and rubbed Kagome’s stomach “Now pups behave for your mother,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome grunted “This is your fault!” Kagome said. Kagome glared at him. “My fault my fault!?! how is it my fault?” Inu Yasha asked. Kagome gave him a look “YOU GOT ME PREGNANT!!” Kagome screamed.
Inu Yasha winced at the scream “You were so happy about it earlier!” Inu Yasha said. Kagome groaned “That was before your pups decided to play soccer in my stomach,” Kagome said. Inu Yasha chuckled and helped her up from the chair she was sitting on and watched her wobble to the bathroom. “Your very cute you know that right?” Inu Yasha called out. “I know,” Kagome said.
After awhile “Inu Yasha I want ice cream and pickles,” Kagome said. Inu Yasha nodded “I’ll be right back I got to go to the store,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome nodded and kissed Inu Yasha. Inu Yasha took off to the store while Kagome was in the kitchen getting a glass of milk she heard a thud. “Inu Yasha did you forget something?” She called out no answer.
She looked around the kitchen locking the kitchen door that went to the basement she than walked out to the living room looked around locked the front door she called Inu Yasha. “Honey did you make that thud?” Kagome asked. When she heard Inu Yasha say no she heard it again. “Inu come home quickly I think someone’s inside the house,” Kagome said scared.
Inu Yasha heard the fear in his mate’s voice and didn’t like it. “Calm down I’ll be home as soon as possible,” Inu Yasha said and hung up. Kagome grabbed a bat and started to walk around looking in every room she soon sighed in relief when she saw nothing. “Thought I forgot half breeds bitch!” The voice said. Kagome’s eyes widen and she turned around to see Naraku she screamed bloodily murder. Naraku chuckled and grabbed Kagome.
She fought against him as much as he could “Now, now Kagome don’t want to upset your pups,” Naraku said. Kagome backed against the wall. “STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY FROM ME!!!” She screamed. Naraku chuckled again he than moved his hand and grabbed her throat and started to choke her “Your mine Half Breed’s bitch,” Naraku said. Soon the door opened “Kagome!?” Sesshomaru called out.
Naraku cursed and let Kagome go. She started coughing for air “Sesshomaru!” She managed to get out in coughs and Naraku disappeared. Sesshomaru could smell Naraku was in the air “Where is the bastard Kagome?” He asked when he got to Kagome. “He disappeared right when you arrived,” Kagome said. Sesshomaru kneeled down to Kagome “Can you stand?” Sesshomaru asked.
Kagome tried to she cried out in pain from what Naraku has done and ended up passing out in Sesshomaru’s arms. “Shit not good,” Sesshomaru said. He picked Kagome up carefully and took her out of the house Inu Yasha just pulled up. “KAGOME!!!” Inu Yasha yelled. “We need to get her to the hospital quickly Naraku attacked her,” Sesshomaru said. Inu Yasha growled he was furious now he took Kagome from Sesshomaru and they headed to the hospital.
Kagome went straight to the ER. Inu Yasha frantically waiting everyone came right away when they heard the news. “That damn Naraku I can’t believe he’s back,” Miroku said. Inu Yasha was pissed “It’s all my fault I let my guard down and now Kagome is in ER,” Inu Yasha said. He cursed. His dad put his hand on his shoulder “Calm down we will get rid of Naraku once and for all,” Taishou said. Inu Yasha nodded.
They waited for two hours which seemed like eight to Inu Yasha. “Kagome is going to be fine she has a couple scrapes and bruises looks like she fought who ever did this the babies are fine she’s fine she’s resting she is being admitted to a room for the night and you can take her home tomorrow morning,” The doctor said. They sighed in relief. “What room she is?” Inu Yasha asked. “She is in room number 210 you may go see her,” The doctor said.
Inu Yasha and the others went to Kagome’s room. Inu Yasha grabbed Kagome’s hand. “Kagome?” He asked. Kagome slowly opened her eyes. “I - Inu Yasha,” Kagome managed to get out. “It’s alright now I’m here I am so sorry I should not have left you alone,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome smiled softly killed him a little more. “Please don’t be you didn’t know I didn’t know at least now we know he’s still out there,” Kagome said.
About four hours later Taishou and Sesshomaru came up with an idea and decided that Kagome and Inu Yasha move back home til pups are born and Naraku is gone for good. Kagome had fallen asleep on them. “I’m staying the night with her,” Inu Yasha said. They nodded.
“Son I think you and Kagome should come back home til Naraku is finally gone for your safety her safety and the pups,” Taishou said. Inu Yasha nodded in agreement. “Will you and the others bring our clothes back home we will leave everything else there but the clothes,” Inu Yasha said.
Taishou nodded and they left as Inu Yasha watched his love, his mate sleep the night away. Inu Yasha vowed never to leave her side not even for a minute especially with their unborn pups still in her. Kagome woke up the next morning she looked at Inu Yasha who was sleeping soundly his hand never letting go of hers. Kagome reached over and kissed Inu Yasha.
He slowly opened his eyes. “Good morning,” Kagome said. Inu Yasha smiled “Morning love,” Inu Yasha said. After a few hours Kagome was released Taishou and Sesshomaru came to pick them up. They got in and went back to his parents house. Kagome went to rest as for Inu Yasha went into the living room and talked with his dad and brother.
~*~One month later~*~
Kagome was getting bigger now considering she was on her fifth month now. She never admitted to Inu Yasha or the others she is scared shit-less for Inu Yasha and her unborn pups. She was being distant between Inu Yasha and Inu Yasha was not liking it at all. “Kags tell me what’s wrong why are you starting to get distant from me?” Inu Yasha asked. Kagome looked at him like he was funny. “I’m not being distant Inu I’m just in pain cause of our pups kicking me,” Kagome said. Inu Yasha gave a low growl “Don’t lie to me Kagome tell me the truth!” Inu Yasha demanded.
Kagome glared “IT’S NOTHING INU YASHA STOP WORRYING!” She yelled. Kagome slowly got up and left the room leaving a shocked Inu Yasha standing there. Kagome walked fast through the hallway and right into the living room Taishou and Sesshomaru smelt the salty tears. Kagome quickly left through the front door. “KAGOME!” Inu Yasha called out and went after her.
“Son what did you do?” Taishou asked. Stopping Inu Yasha in his tracks. “Nothing! All I asked her was one stupid fucking question why she was being distant!” Inu Yasha shouted. “You baka!” Sesshomaru said. Inu Yasha growled “You are one to talk Rin won’t speak to you since you knocked her up she wont even come near you!” Inu Yasha yelled. Sesshomaru gave him a look.
Kagome was four blocks away from the house she started heading to the park. She was crying she started wincing in pain. Inu Yasha had taken off to find Kagome. She got to the park she sat on the swings wincing again. “Inu Yasha you baka I can’t tell you I don’t want to worry you,” Kagome said softly.
The clouds were dark and it started to rain on Kagome. Inu Yasha cursed when it started to down pour he ran faster he went to the park to find Kagome soaked head to toe from the rain still sitting on the swing “KAGOME!” Inu Yasha said. Kagome looked up and was about to run but she winced again and went to her knees. Inu Yasha ran to her and carefully picked her up.
“I’m sorry Inu Yasha forgive me please I didn’t want to admit to you that I was scared and didn’t feel totally safe,” Kagome cried and winced again. Inu Yasha hugged her “You baka that’s why you were distant you know I would never leave you your side,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome hugged him tight as she winced again her hair clung to her body along with her wet clothes. “Let’s go home,” Inu Yasha said.
Inu Yasha took off in a sprint to get Kagome home. When they arrived home Izayoi and Taishou ran to them helping them get dried off “Sesshomaru draw a warm bath for both of them now!” Taishou said. Sesshomaru did so. Kagome cried out in pain. “Kagome what’s wrong?” Izayoi asked. “The pups are restless and it’s hurting,” Kagome said.
“A nice bath will calm them down,” Taishou said. Inu Yasha and Kagome got into the tub and Inu Yasha pulled Kagome close to him as they relaxed “There is nothing to be scared about I will take care of you and the pups I will not let anything happen to you,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome nodded and relaxed in his arms “I’m sorry I was just thinking stupid,” Kagome said.
After they got out of the bathtub they got dressed in their pajamas. Kagome winced again and cried out in pain “Inu I - I think they are coming,” Kagome said in pain. “W - What?!?! now they are not suppose to come til next month!” Inu Yasha panicked. Kagome screamed in pain. Taishou, Izayoi ran quickly to Kagome’s scream “What’s wrong!?!” Izayoi asked. Inu Yasha looked at his parents “She’s in labor!” Inu Yasha shouted. Kagome cried out in pain and doubled over. Taishou cursed.
“We are getting you to the hospital right now,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome gripped his hand tightly “Inu we wont make it to the hospital in time they are coming now!” She screamed. “Lay her down on the bed Izayoi get hot clothes ready and cold water! SESSHOMARU call the family doctor now!” Taishou ordered. Kagome was placed on the bed carefully.
Kagome breathing heavily wincing. “Inu Yasha please tell me the pups are gonna be fine,” Kagome said. Inu Yasha didn’t know for sure himself. He held Kagome’s hand. “It will be okay Kagome everything will be fine,” Inu Yasha said. Sango and Miroku arrived hearing the news by Izayoi. Sango rushed in to help. “Okay Kagome your going to have to deliver soon,” Taishou said.
With four hours of screaming in pain. Kagome was having troubles breathing “She needs oxygen fast,” The doctor ordered. The paramedics put a mask around Kagome and started to get air for Kagome. “Everyone needs to get out now!” Doctor shouted. “What’s happening to Kagome?!” Inu Yasha ordered. Kagome couldn’t do it anymore she was getting too weak. She pushed out her first kid which was a boy than it took a couple more times as she was struggling she delivered a baby girl and another baby boy.
The paramedics quickly cleaned the babies up as one pup was very weak like it’s mother. They brought a stretcher in and took Kagome and the babies to the hospital. “What’s wrong with them!?” Inu Yasha shouted. “Kagome is barely hanging on and one of your pups is very weak we gotta go operate so they can survive,” The doctor said. Inu Yasha was frantic when he heard that.
At the hospital everyone again was sitting in ER it was five hours til the doctor came out. “Your son, and daughter are fine and are in the nursery for your other baby boy and mate they are in ICU they pull through both are just very weak,” The doctor said. Inu Yasha rushed to see his mate and son. Taishou thanked the doctor.
Kagome looked so pale so fragile she was hooked up to a lot of machines it scared the shit out of Inu Yasha. Kagome was resting Inu Yasha stayed by her side he than went to see his newborn pups with his mom and dad and he smiled “Wow I can’t believe how beautiful they look,” Inu Yasha said. Izayoi hugged her son “I’m proud of you,” Taishou said.
They than went to see his other son who was in the nursery ICU and his heart dropped like crazy he was scared and worried for his pup he could smell how weak his son was. “Is he gonna survive?” Inu Yasha asked “Doctors are doing everything in their power,” Taishou said.
Inu Yasha looked really sad his golden eyes full of sorrow he walked back to Kagome’s room and sat down watching his loved one sleep knowing one of his pups might not make it but his other pups are healthy he was happy about his other 2 pups at least he knew they were okay.
Five days later Kagome was taken out of ICU finally she was doing better she got to see her babies the little pup was still struggling to live but he was doing a little better than before. Kagome sat up and ate some hospital food. Inu Yasha walked in with some flowers “Hi,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome looked up and smiled, “Hi.”
Their two young ones laying in there own little bed beside Kagome. “I named them I want you to name our little one in ICU though,” Kagome said. Inu Yasha smiled and kissed Kagome “So what’s their names?” Inu Yasha asked. “Hinata and Taro,” Kagome said. Inu Yasha nodded “Perfect names for our little ones how about Sanosuke for our son in ICU,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome smiled softly “Survivor and fighter perfect for our little one,” Kagome said.
“Hello!” Izayoi said. Kagome smiled “Hi Mom Hi Dad,” Inu Yasha said. “I would like you to meet Taro, Hinata, and Sanosuke is in ICU,” Kagome said. Izayoi smiled and Taishou smiled as well. “Grandparents I feel old now,” Taishou chuckled.
Kagome smiled as she saw the gifts come in. “Inu Yasha tell me what happened a few days ago?” Kagome asked. Inu Yasha frowned he didn’t want to relive that day it was torture to him....
~*~*~Flashback~*~*~*~
Kagome was getting very weak and losing her battle to survive. Inu Yasha never left her side and prayed to Kami that she would survive it was a full moon which made him seem even more helpless. Soon he heard the heart monitor went flat “NO!!! KAGOME DON’T GIVE UP!!!!!!!” Inu Yasha yelled. The doctors and nurses rushed in and kicked Inu Yasha out as they did CPR and everything in their power to save her they finally got a steady heart beat.
~*~*END OF FLASHBACK~*~*
Kagome frowned “I’m sorry Inu Yasha for being weak,” Kagome said. Inu Yasha grabbed her hand “Don’t you apologize it wasn’t your fault okay and don’t blame yourself anymore got that,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome nodded. She laid her head on his hand “I love you,” Kagome said. Soon Rin, Sesshomaru, Sango, Miroku, and Ami walked in. “Hey guys,” Kagome smiled.
“So these two are my niece and nephew and can I see my other nephew or do I have to wait?” Sesshomaru asked. “If I didn’t know better I think your heart is changing there,” Inu Yasha teased. Sesshomaru growled “No I just don’t want my niece and nephews turn out to be weak like you,” Sesshomaru said. Inu Yasha growled back Kagome giggled.
Inu Yasha smiled when he heard Kagome giggle for the first time in a long time it was music to his ears. Kagome looked at him “When can we go home?” Kagome asked. “Bout four more days and your son has to stay til he is fully recovered,” Taishou said.
~*~*~*Month Later~*~*~*
Kagome and Inu Yasha were very tried the pups kept them up most of the time they didn’t have time for themselves and the wedding was coming up very soon. Kagome and Inu Yasha were sleeping soundly in their bed. After awhile they went to the hospital to pick up Sanosuke they finally got to take their son home. As they drove home Kagome smiled and hummed to the music playing. Inu Yasha parked his car when they got home “Welcome home son,” Inu Yasha said.
