Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha or any of its characters! This is an update from my *teaser* chapter from Feb. 17 2003! Yes, 2003. My computer broke and I didn't get it back til now. Anyway this one is going to fill in the gaps as well as be the continuation of the proluge. Lemon in next chapter
Proluge from 2003
After Inuyasha found Kagome beside the well, bleeding, he went to Kaede's hut and found Sango and Miroku having a little fun. He asked panicking, "Where's Kaede and Shippou?" They told him Kaede was at the river collecting herbs. He went there and found Kaede and asked her what was wrong with Kagome. She hesitated but then told him she was pregnant. *(That was the summary of the proluge, 'Inuyasha's in Trouble')*

As Inuyasha layed Kagome beside Kaede, he asked Kaede, "What's wrong with her? Is she going to be alright?" Kaede noticed that Kagome was bleeding. She said, "I'll have to watch her through the night to see, but from what I can tell, I think she was attacked. No! Thy eyes played a trick on the. I can't tell for sure, but I think she's .... pregnant. Inuyasha was confused. He mumbled to himself and looked at the trees, but then Shippou walked up. "Kaede, I brought the herbs..... " He was cut off as he saw Kagome lying there. He ran up to her, but Inuyasha blocked him off. "No..." He didn't understand, and he looked at Inuyasha with the saddest eyes, but he then ran off into the forest to release his childlike feelings.
(Two hours later)...Inuyasha, Kaede, and Shippou all helped to transport Kagome to her hut. It is 2:00 AM. Everyone is asleep except Inuyasha and Kaede. They are talking secretly in the room next to everyone else. "Inuyasha, I looked at Kagome through now from 5:00 this evening. I thought at first that she was attacked, and she was, but then I noticed something on her neck..... two fang bites. You of all demons should know that if a dog demon should leave his bite mark then....." Inuyasha finished her sentence, "Then the following night, he should come back for his mate." Inuyasha had a face of concern, "and tonight is that following night. But who's is it? Its not mine....oh no. It can't be.... can it, not my brother?" Nay child not yours, but your brothers." I'll kill him...." He started raising his voice and Miroku woke and came inside. "What is going on. Oh, Kaede, did you find out what was wrong?" Inuyasha gave him an evil look and said "My brother is dead meat." Just as he said that, Kagome awoke. She was pale and looked sickly for she had lost quite a lot of blood. "Inuyasha....." She said. "Are you there?" Inuyasha picked her up and walked out taking her to the river, speeding past the trees looking for his brother just in case. He layed her down and she said, "Inuyasha, he's coming back..." Inuyasha quickly answered back, "Who, who's coming back?" Kagome said weakly, "Him...." and pointed to someone in a tree up above them. It was him, Sesshomaru. He said in a husky vioce, "I have come for my mate Inuyasha." Inuyasha said in a fury, "You! You evil bastard! You took my mate out from under my nose!" Kagome still confused answered quickly, "Mate.....?"
