Hidden Chapter

Revision from last Kag chapter

"It wasn't you. It was Koyaki," Kagome said. "I'll help you break that curse some day. I hope Inuyasha is on his way here."

After a hot dinner Kagome fell asleep on the couch. She dreamed of going back home to her warm bed. Her parents were not worried about her. She often takes long trips to feudal Japan. Once she stayed a month.

She tossed and turned through the night. Her thoughts, if opened, would only reveal Inuyasha. Never had she wanted to see him this badly. She wanted to run into his arms and hold him tight, never to let him leave her again.

The sun was raising, the birds were chirping, animals scurried about, and Koyaki was walking towards Kagome. He looked at her devilishly. He wondered what was keeping Inuyasha so long.

"Get up girl."

Kagome turned again and opened her eyes. There joyous look gone and replaced by a look of sincere hope. She turned her head and stared into Koyaki's eyes. They were full of evil and hatred towards her and everything living.

"I'm up…" sanding up and trying to unruffled her school dress, she threw a glance around the room. Inuyasha were are you…

Koyaki took her hand and grasped it tightly. "Follow me girl." He pulled her out of the room and led her outside.

The sun speckled light through the trees and wind blew flower petals through the air. Wild flowers were scattered across the ground and invested with butterflies, bees, and ladybugs. A small fountain stood in the center of all this. Engravings of stars and moons scattered across it.

"Walk up to the fountain and look in girl."

Kagome obeyed. She sat on the edge of the fountain and glanced into the cool clear water. Nothing happened. She kept looking into it, is this a joke, she thought.

The water suddenly began to cloud up. Purple mist began forming in the water. Kagome still stared at it motionless.

A small figure was running. She could see it in the water. Its face became clearer. It was Inuyasha. He was running though a village. She squinted trying to see more. He was running through a village full of cats and cat people.

She stared at it. Her eyes were transfixed on Inuyasha. Soon another man joined him. It looked like a grown up Shippou. Then Miroku joined in the running. What was this? Another figure was approaching them. It was becoming clearer…a cat demon. Suddenly the water returned to normal.

"What was that? What is this fountain?"

"Why should I tell you…"?

A fierce wind blew and Kagome's hair flew in her eyes. It was dark. She couldn't see. Then the wind died as quickly as it had come alive. Kagome looked back at Koyaki, only to see Hiaten.

He stared at her. His hands were shaking slowly. "What did I do to you Kagome?"

"Nothing, it was Koyaki not you…"

"I am Koyaki, even if I can not control it."

"No. Don't worry. Inuyasha will be here soon."

Hiaten walked past Kagome and looked into the fountain. Once again the water misted; only blue this time.

Kagome looked into it. Hiaten stood there. Then a black mist engulfed him and he was Koyaki. She kept looking into the water. Koyaki had Kagome in chains behind him. Inuyasha was running towards him. Then Koyaki shot something at Inuyasha and he became demon Inuyasha. He started trying to kill Kagome. Then the mist returned.

"I know his plan. He kidnapped you to make Inuyasha come here so he could carry out Father's order." Hiaten said shaking his head slowly.

Kagome looked at him horrified. She had to do something, to escape. Suddenly she bolted away from Hiaten. She ran as fast as she did the night Inuyasha pursued her. Hiaten was becoming a distant blot. Suddenly she hit something. It felt as if she had it solid metal. She bounced back and landed on the grass. Her nose was bleeding uncontrollably.

Hiaten soon ran up beside her. He picked her up and handed her a piece of cloth for her nose. "I'm sorry. I don't know how to break the barrier. I've tried…"
