Shippau listened closely and didn't hear anything. "If the animals are quiet…we should be too."

"Yeah whatever."

As Inuyasha walked ahead a faint breeze fiddled with his hair.

"Stop! I sense Sesshomaru around!"

Miroku backed away from Inuyasha and Shippau stood still with a puzzled look.

"Inuyasha."

"What do you want, damn it?"

"Where's your human girl Inuyasha?" Sesshomaru looked down at his half-breed brother.

"Shut-up Sesshomaru!!!" Inuyasha drew out Tutsiega and lunged at Sesshomaru.

Sesshomaru swiftly glided out of the way without effort. He raised his claws into the air and they turned green as poison flowed through them. "Prepare to die Inuyasha."

Sesshomaru jumped at Inuyasha his hand stretched out before him. Inuyasha jumped out of the way and Sesshomaru's hand grazed his shoulder. Blood seeped from his body and washed over his robe. The poison began running through his veins.

"Damn you Sesshomaru." He held Tutsiega over his head and brought it down with tremendous force. "Kaze no Kizu!"

Inuyasha had unleashed the wind-scar. It rapidly moved in Sesshomaru's direction. Smoke emerged from the ground where the attack had been and Inuyasha couldn't see the result of his attack.

A surge went through his body and he looked up. Sesshomaru was flying through the air above him. "Now Koyaki!"

A figure suddenly appeared before Inuyasha chanting, the light forming at his fingertips. He drew his hands together and pointed them at Inuyasha his eyes glowing a brilliant red. "Forget it all Inuyasha!"

The light emerged from his fingertips, lurching at Inuyasha. Before Shippau and Miroku saw what was happening Inuyasha had been struck.

"INUYASHA!" Miroku ran up to Inuyasha who was now kneeling on his knees holding his heart.

Inuyasha strained to fight the waves of hatred and evil that was passing over him like heat waves in the desert. His eyes rolled in and out of his head. "Agh, ah…"

"Get away." Inuyasha whispered in a deep rasp voice. His eyes were beginning to turn a deep red.

Miroku stepped away just as Inuyasha stood up and looked at him. Sesshomaru and Koyaki were gone.

"Oh no. He's gone demon…"

"Wha?"

"Just run Shippau and get away. Inuyasha does not know himself anymore."

Inuyasha ran at Shippau and Miroku, drool dripping of his fangs a mass of blood in the spot of his heart.

He ran behind them, his hand outstretched.

<><><><>With Kagome<><><><>

Kagome's eyes opened in shock and her breathing became unregulated. She gripped her heart and sobbed. "What…what's happening to m-"

"Its Inuyasha…I can tell." She had fallen to her knees and now stood up trying to regulate her breathing. Kagome took off out of the building. She could sense Inuyasha; she could feel his heart beating.

"Inuyasha!"

She ran through the barrier and kept running, an immense pink glow surrounded her. "Inuyasha!"

She stepped on a twig and fell down, twisting her ankle. She curled up into a heap on the ground sobbing madly. "Inuyasha…Inuyasha."
