Becky walked down the dirt path feeling depressed and lonely.Not only had she been exiled from her village but her family had left her alone as well. Time in the feudal era wasn't easy.

It's not that she was repugnant or anything, she had cute cat ears and she didn't dress weird or anything... (as normal as anyone would dress it that era at least.)

She just had really, really bad luck.

Becky heard soft rustling coming from the bushes and she turned just in time to get rammed into by Kagome.

"Kagome, wait!" a boy's voice called just as Becky toppled over a cliff.

Becky screamed and closed her eyes as she knew she was going to inevitably fall.

She was a half-demon, not a god after all.

Suddenly, the scream died at her lips.

A rough, (but soft...) hand grabbed hers and she balanced at the edge of the cliff, her chest heaving.

He smiled at her and she could almost feel steam coming out of her ears. (he's hot....)

She shook her head quickly and, with the boy's help, she got back on safe ground.

Except she fell (on top...) of him.

Kagome stood up and looked around for the girl she had knocked over.

The girl was on top of Inuyasha. (she couldn't really make him sit... that would just make it worse...)

"Inuyasha?" Kagome called, with a you-are-so-dead-if-you-don't-come-over-here-right-now look.

He stood up and left Becky to sit on the hard dirt. (This was sooo much more fun than spending time in the village...)

"SIT, SIT, SIT, SIT, SIT, SIIIIIITTTTTTT!!!!!!!!" Kagome yelled shrilly. Her screams were followed by Inuyasha's muffled 'ow's
in between.

After Inuyasha was mobile again, Becky had to ask... "Are you two... 'together' or something?"

"WHAT??!!!!!" they both yelled, half surprised and half angry at the question...

Becky sat there innocently as they both explained quickly that they would never, EVER go out or anything...

Becky laughed. "Okay, okay, I get it..." (They were soooo red at the moment...)

After another LONG silence, Inuyasha stood up and sat next to Becky, (who hadn't moved since she had fallen...) and tugged at her ears quickly.

Kagome looked stunned.

"Umm... what are you doing?" Becky asked quietly. (It was really nice to be touched by a guy...)

"Sorry..." he said quickly, "it's just that your ears are soooo CUTE!"

Kagome choked quickly, trying to get InuYasha away from the girl.

"You okay?" he asked, not even looking at Kagome.

"Yeah, I'm-"

"I mean, did you hurt yourself at all on the cliff?"

Inuyasha had never ignored Kagome like that before...

'Could he... like her?' she thought desperately, looking at the ground.

His hand was on Becky's...

He was smelling her hair...

He was... TOO CLOSE TO THE GIRL

Kagome almost screamed. It wasn't right. She had known Inuyasha for, like, two years and this girl knows him for, like, an hour and they're already almost getting to second base...

Becky suddenly went red when Inuyasha put his arm on her shoulder. She had never been held by a boy like this before...

It was... nice. That's really all that she could think of.

The both of them could feel a blast of cold air though and they looked to see Kagome breathing down their necks, watching them get close...

Inuyasha pushed Becky away and they both explained that Becky had a bug on her shoulder.

Inuyasha slapped Becky's back and whispered in her ear, 'meet me at the old well tonight'.

He then stood up and led Kagome to where they were staying in the forest, with Becky tailing behind.

'Why does he want me to meet him there? Why did he hold me like that?' Becky thought slowly.

'I don't even know him and he's making me feel so... whole already...'
