Inuyasha Marching Band Chapter 6: The New Couples

After the first victory, one of the football players decided to throw a party the next day at six p.m. Inviting the band members, football players, and cheerleaders. (A/N: Bitches)

"Kelliann, if you don't come over here now, you will not get a ride," threatened Sango through the phone, "Kagome, Jenny, Dal, Jessica, and Heather are already here. All we're missing is you so hurry up."

"I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm sorry, I took a nap, and over slept so now I'm late. I'll be over in five minutes."

"Good, I'll try and convince tou-san to wait a little longer. Bye," answered the trumpet player, anger leaking out of her voice.

"Tou-san can we please wait a little longer," begged Sango.

"No."

"Please -puppy dog face-,"

"Fine."

"Yes," came the victorious voice.

Five minutes later…-ding dong-

Kagome walked over, and opened the door.

"Finally, Sango, we can leave now."

"Good, tou-san we can leave now."

"Ok, replied Kaiosuke as he walked out of the kitchen, keys in hand," everyone to the car," and they left.

Kagome and the other six girls walked up to the door and knocked. The obstacle opened revealing an ape demon, Joe Hartzel.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't Kagome, Sango, Jenny, Kelliann, Dal, Heather, and Jessica. Please come in feel free to wander around like home."

"Joe, you don't have to be so polite," spoke Jenny.

"It's my job as a hos- oh, I have to get the door," answered Joe.

"Hey, look Sesshoumaru's here too," exclaimed Kagome suddenly.

"Kagome, you have the hots for him don't you," teased Sango.

Kagome's face must have turned at least twenty shades of red before she answered, "A little."

"Ohhh, she likes him," mocked Kell even more.

"I wonder If Sesshoumaru likes you?" questioned Jenny quietly.

"Probably not, he's so cold and distant, but…," blurted Kagome.

"But what?" asked Sango?

Kagome didn't answer; she was thinking back to the bus ride and the night when they kissed. Then Kell suddenly unexpectedly informed the group that the rest of the guy team are also here, and suggested to sit down. The girls agreed absently, and settled on a couch in the living room. Then a little fight in the second living room between Smershiak and Anna caught Kagome's observant eyes, and told the others to watch, knowing something big will happen.

"You traitor, you're with Bob, and at the same time you're with me," accused Shawn.

"No I-"

"You're not my girlfriend anymore."

"But-," cried Anna blood boiling.

"Break up."

"Fine," growled Anna and stomped to the backyard.

"Wow, that's harsh. I think Shawn's being a little too sensitive over that," complemented Kell.

"I think I better go and comfort Anna," announced Kagome as she made her way to the backyard.

She got to the door expecting to see a crying Anna on the steps, but instead she saw Emrys already comforting her, "I better stay and watch a little longer," thought Kagome.

"Why are you sad," inquired the second chair flute player.

"Shawn -cry- broke up with me -hiccup- because he though -sob- I was two-timing him. He -hiccup- didn't even let me explain so I agreed with him out of anger," choked the heartbroken girl new tears start to spill, "there's no going back now."

Emrys said nothing after the short tale. He just stood up, taking the piccolo player with him, and hugged her tightly, forcing the girl into his comforting arms. Anna was too heartbroken to struggle so she just hugged him back, absorbing the warmth offered.

"You know, I can always take Shawn's place and give you my warmth, comfort, love, everything if you let me," whispered Emrys romantically, head on the girl's shoulder.

Anna thought about this for a moment; then she said in a piano like voice, "Yes, I let you."

When the tenth grader heard this, he was over joyed. He bought his head up, facing his new girlfriend, and gazed into her green eyes; then kissed her forehead, and resumed his previous position for about five more minutes. When Anna suddenly suggested leaving, the leamer demon took the suggestion, and the two took off for Anna's house.

"The news of a new couple will spread by tomorrow," predicted Kagome when she got back to her friends.

"Whatever she's talking about, I have no idea," muttered Sango as the other girls agree.

"Hey, look, Sesshoumaru's being kind of weird," said Dal.

"He's always weird. Just let him be and watch The Matrix," Kagome remarked.

"Alright," answered Dal.
