Inuyasha: Never Gone
Chapter 3
Inuyasha woke in the middle of the night, next to Kagome. He smiled when he saw her face. He really did love the girl."Inuyasha...I love you..." Kagome whispered as Inuyasha put the blanket back over her.
"I love you too, Kagome." Inuyasha kissed Kagome on the side of her head and went back to sleep.
Kagome sighed in her sleep. She started to dream of having a family with Inuyasha.
Kagome woke the next morning, next to a sleeping Inuyasha. She smiled at him.
'He looks so peacefull.' thought Kagome. 'Like he doesn't have a care in the world.'
Inuyasha woke to see Kagome smiling at him sweetly.
"Hi." Inuyasha said.
"Good morning." Kagome responded.
Inuyasha kisses Kagome. "You know, we haven't really mated yet."
"Um...then what did we do last night?"
"Well, we did what you said is making love. I would have to bite you in order for us to have mated."
"Oh...When do you want to mate then?"
"Well, it's not mating season yet. That's in a couple of days." Inuyasha answered as he kissed Kagome.
"I see."
Inuyasha kissed Kagome again and again. Kagome tried to get up but Inuyasha was not letting her up.
"Inuyasha, we have to get dressed and go back to the feudal era. I have to take a bath first, too."
"Can I take one with you?"
"Um...I might have to sneak you into the bath house."
"Okay. I can sneak." Inuyasha said with an almost evil grin.
"That's creepy. Don't do that."
"Sorry."
"It's okay." Kagome took Inuyasha by the hand after both of them got into some clothes and led him to the bath house. Kagome took Inuyasha into the bath house and ran the water to fill the tub. Inuyasha wrapped his arms around Kagome and kissed her neck.
"Inuyasha, I'm trying to get the bath going.""I know, but I can't wait. I want you right now."
"Okay, the bath is full." Kagome said, removing her clothes and getting in.
Inuyasha followed Kagome into the bath after taking off his clothes.
"Wow! You have an instant hot spring in your house!" Inuyasha exclaimed.
Kagome giggled. "No, Inuyasha. It's a bath."
Inuyasha kissed Kagome again and again. "God...I love you so much, Kagome..." He said as he made his way down to Kagome's neck, causing the miko to moan.
"Inuyasha..." Kagome moaned as the hanyou inserted his fingers inside of her, rubbing against her sweet spot.
Kagome could feel herself getting close to release. Inuyasha kept kissing Kagome's neck and caressing the perfect spot inside of the miko.
"Inuyasha!" Kagome felt her release as Inuyasha's fingers were squeezed by the walls of her pussy.
After actually bathing, Kagome and Inuyasha dressed in fresh clothes. Kagome asked her mom to make some food for them to take back, packed her bag with ramen, candy, paper, crayons, a few clothes; she was tired of wearing her school fuku all the time, especially since she didn't ever go to school anymore.
"Ready to go?" Inuyasha asked.
"I think so. If I forgot something it's probably not that important anyway." Kagome answered.
"Okay. Let's go."
"Bye, mama! I'll see you next time I come back."
"Good bye, dear." Mama Higurashi said to her daughter as Kagome walked to the well.
Kagome hopped over the side and jumped down. She passed through the time slip and was greeted by Inuyasha catching her.
"Need help?" the hanyou asked."Yes, please."
Inuyasha helped Kagome out of the well along with her bag.
"Kagome!" came a small voice as a little kitsune came running toward the miko.
"Shippo!" Kagome hugged the little fox as he jumpped into her arms.
"What are you doing here? I thought you went with Sango and Kohaku." Inuyasha said.
"I did. We're here visiting. Sango thought that it would be a good idea if we came to the village for a visit. Plus, she said something about needing some herbs only found around here."
"Sango's here too?" Kagome tossed her bag to Inuyasha and started running to the village. When she spotted the taijiya, she shouted. "Sango!!"
"Kagome!" Sango shouted as she heard the miko's voice.
Kagome hugged Sango. "Oh, I've missed you."
"I've missed you too."
"How's Kohaku?""He's doing fine. He remembers everything but we've pretty much gotten him over the fact that he killed our whole village. We're trying to start over as best as possible. That's part of the reason I've come here. We need some herbs that can only grow around here."
"That's what Shippo told me."
"Oh, you found Shippo?""More like he found me. Inuyasha should be here with him and my things shortly."
Sure enough, the moment Kagome spoke of the hanyou and the kitsune, the two showed up, Inuyasha carrying Kagome's bag.
"Have you seen or heard anything from Miroku at all?" Kagome asked.
Sango shook her head. "No. I don't know if I want to know what that letcherous monk has been up to. He might have settled down and expecting a child by now."
Kagome could see that Sango was slightly sad.
"Who knows what he's doing?" Kagome said, then whispered to Sango. "Maybe we should go visit him."
Sango started to blush. "I don't want to bother him."
"Bother him? Nonsense. I'm sure he would love to see us. You especially."
"What are we doing now?" Inuyasha asked.
"We're going to go see Miroku." Kagome said.
"What? When?"
"Right now."
"What?" Sango asked, shocked.
"We can leave as soon as we eat and everything, but we should leave as soon as possible."
"We just arrived here today. We had a long journey, Kagome. We would at least like to rest." Sango said.
"Yeah, we just got back ourselves." Inuyasha said.
"Okay. We'll stay here a couple of days. How does that sound?" Kagome asked.
"That's fine. Thank you, Kagome." Sango replied.
"Okay." Kagome took her things from Inuyasha and took them into the hut.
"Kagome, ye are back." Came Kaede's voice from the middle of the room.
"Yeah. Inuyasha came to my time and talked me into coming back...and a few other things."
"Oh, I see."
Inuyasha walked into the hut and sat down. "Keh, it wasn't hard to make you come back."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Kagome said with her hands on her hips.
"Nothing. I just made you a candle light dinner and from there it was all easy as cake."
"Why you." Kagome mock glared at Inuyasha.
Inuyasha grined at Kagome.
"My, there has been a change between the two of you." Kaede stated. "Inuyasha, you seem to have become calmer and more attentive to Kagome. Kagome, you seem to have become more tolerant of Inuyasha." Kaede commented.
"Hello?" Came a very familiar voice of a certain monk.
Inuyasha got up and went outside. "Hey, it's Miroku. What's up?"
"Hello, Inuyasha. Lady Kagome, how are you?"
"I'm good. How are you?""Sadly, I missed everyone. I decided to make a journey back to this village to see Kaede but I see that everyone is back. Well, mostly everyone." Miroku said sadly.
"Miroku?"
Miroku turned around at the sound of a familiar voice. "Sango...I thought I'd never see you again."
Sango blinked.
Miroku hugged the demon slayer.
Sango blinked again.
Miroku grabbed Sango's butt.
Sango smacked Miroku across the face.
"Ah...back to normal." Miroku said in a dazed like voice.
Sango sighed. "And to think I missed you.""You missed me? Oh dear, sweet Sango. Please, bare my child."Sango glared at the monk. "You're not going to die anymore, remember."
"Yes, I know. I just want such a lovely woman like yourself to bare my child. Please Sango, do me the honor of marrying me."Sango stood speachless and shocked.
"Did he just ask her to marry him?" Kagome asked.
"Sounded like it." Inuyasha said.
Everyone was surprised. They all watched Sango and Miroku stare at each other, waiting for Sango's answer.
"Please, think about my dear Sango. For if you say yes, you will make me a happy man."
Sango still stook in shock, still speachless.
"Everyone, come back inside. Supper is ready." Kaede said.
Kagome entered the hut first, closely followed by Inuyasha. Shippo was next, followed by Kirara, Sango, and Miroku. Kohaku was already inside, sitting near the fire, watching the flames. Kaede dished out the stew, gave everyone bowls. Sango took a bowl to her brother and sat near him.
"Alas, my love has been denied by the very woman that I love." Miroku stated.
"Don't worry, Miroku. Sango will say yes. I know she loves you." Kagome said.
"You know this?"
"Of course. She's my best friend after all. She never really told me that she loves you, but I can tell. She looks at you the way that you look at her...or the way Inuyasha used to look at me when he thought I wasn't looking."
"Hey, you saw me looking at you like that?" Inuyasha said.
"You better believe it." Kagome gave Inuyasha a quick kiss before going back to her stew.
After supper, everyone got ready to sleep. Everyone layed on mats, including Inuyasha, but he slept next to Kagome. Sango slept next to Kohaku, just in case anything happened to him. Kirara and Shippo slept next to each other, leaning on one another, near a wall, with a small blanket to cover Shippo. Miroku, sadly, slept by himself.
Miroku couldn't really sleep. He was thinking about how much he cared for Sango. He watched the taijiya as she slept. Miroku looked over at Inuyasha and Kagome and saw how happy they were now that they were finally together. He watched as the new couple cuddled in their sleep. Kagome's head resting on Inuyasha's chest, the protective hold the hanyou had on the miko. Oh, how Miroku longed to hold Sango like that.
Sango awoke, got up, and walked over to Miroku. Miroku looked up at her.
"Sango?"Sango layed down next to the monk and looked into his eyes.
"I'll marry you." Sango said.
"You...you will?" Miroku asked.
Sango nodded.
Miroku smiled so big that it looked as if his face would split in two. Then the monk kissed the taijiya very passionately.
"You have made me the happiest man alive."Sango smiled.
"I love you, Sango.""I...love you too, Miroku..."
And with that, the once cursed monk and the taijiya fell asleep.
