So full of mistrust

Yet trust earned is hard to lose

Protector and friend

Soul scarred and broken

Neither one nor the other

The lonely hanyou

Kagome

The powerful soul

Of a thousand dead miko

Bound and led by fate

A falling angel

Shining light in the darkness

Falling through lost time

Sango

So much has been lost

So much more yet to be lost

Is anything gained?

Warrior, killer

An eternal survivor

Left behind by Death

Miroku

Dragged forwards by time

To a futureless abyss

Hand-in-hand with Death

A hole devouring

A life, a hope, a future

`till a crater grave

Kagura

The cool summer breeze

The cold winter winds, the gale

All denied and caged

Heavy chains of blood

Bound one who should have be free

Free to fly in death
