Naraku's castle hasn't changed much, his miasma still filled the air with all of its deadly poisons, there were human guards but there flesh had rotten away. Just there bones were left, but they were still covered in fresh blood somehow.

Kagura quickly jumped off her feather, she placed it back in her hair. “The air here hasn't really changed much, it still reeks of dead corpses. How could anyone take such a smell…” Kagura tried not to inhale too much of the air, she sighed and then rested her back against the wall.

“I am home...back into hell” Kagura tried to hide the anger in her facial features but she couldn't contain it. Kagura opened her eyes in shock once again, she had pulsed. “Naraku wants to see you Kagura”

He was sitting down in the left corner of a dark room, for once, he was completely alone. He only looked up at Kagura with an evil grin. “Kagura…it seems that you once again have failed me. You were even given more power and you STILL couldn't defeat Kikyo. “

Kagura looked away from Naraku not wanting to reply to him, she hissed at him and began to turn to walk away. Naraku grew furious with her and pulled out the only thing that could silence her for good. He began squeezing tight on her heart causing Kagura to cry out in pain.

“It's okay Kagura….Naraku is gone. “ Kohaku spoke in a shaky voice, he wandered if he should even be in here with her. He smiled a little and rubbed his hand against her cheek.

Kagura looked up at Kohaku a little shocked, she closed her eyes and she felt as if she was falling. Kohaku did his best to catch her and walk out of Naraku's chambers with her. He didn't think twice about what he was doing. What would happen if Naraku caught him? What would he do to him? Those thoughts didn't even enter his mind, the only thing he could of was freeing Kagura. The only person that would stick up for him and rescue him from Naraku so shouldn't he do the same for her? I mean she is the only reason that he is still alive right. He had looked up to Kagura like a sister he never had, he didn't have any family or friends but she was the light his darkness.

Sango was looking up at the starry night sky, she shivered a little and she couldn't help but cry. She couldn't help herself, she was thinking about him again. She was thinking about her brother Kohaku, she loved him dearly and she wished she could have saved him. She wondered if everything would be different if he still hadn't been under Naraku's control, would she still be with InuYasha and the others. Would Kohaku be able to live in peace with the bloodstains he still had on his heart? Could he live with the fact that he had been a murder for so long, and what would happen if she never told him? Would he forgive her when he found out about his past? The thought that haunted her mind the most was even her brother still alive. It has been a whole year since they last encountered him at all.

“Naraku could have gotten rid of him by now...I mean he is only human. No, I cannot think that way. My brother is still

alive and I won't believe anything else but how could I not wonder….”

“Sango….don't cry”

“Who is there!!!” Sango couldn't help but hide the sadness in her voice. She would teach whoever the intruder was a lesson.

“Sango don't cry, I told you that we would find Kohaku right and we will” InuYasha walked out of the shadows, he smiled at her and took a seat down next to her.

InuYasha's voice was so reassuring, she believed his every word he said and she took it in. She managed to smile halfly at him but InuYasha could tell that that something was still troubling her.

“Sango….” InuYasha really didn't know what to say next, he wasn't use to these kinds of conversations. He tried to search his mind to think what he might say to maybe at least ease her pain.

“InuYasha, when you told me that you would help me find Kohaku no matter what. I believed in you and I still do but Naraku could of…”

InuYasha looked at her angrily and he stood up. He growled at her and his ears started to twitch.

“Don't even think that, your brother is still alive. I am sure of it, Naraku wouldn't get rid of him so soon and if you start to lose hope on your brother then your telling me you have gave up on Naraku. You don't care about what happened to your family and the pain that Naraku caused!!!!”

Sango looked up at him shocked, she never seen InuYasha talk to anyone like this but it made her happy. She couldn't help but blush, this time she managed to give InuYasha a smile that came sincerely.

“Thank you once again InuYasha, your right I can't give up on my brother. I have to still have hope for him even though he probably doesn't remember me but if I at least try he will right?”

InuYasha smiled at her and then he covered her with one of the blankets Kagome had brought. He turned to walk away but he left with a smile.
