Yet you watch over me

You say you will kill me

Yet you let me live

Why?

Do you fear me

A halfling runt

With no place to call his own

What cause do you have

To fear such a thing

I would ask if you care

But I know such thoughts

Are laughable

Why would one such as you

Care for someone as 'worthless' as me

Yet I wonder why you walk

In the lines of contradictions

Acting heartless

Yet showing your care

In the actions you didn't take

When I wonder

Will I be able to call you brother

Without hatred

When will you say so too

Without hate in your words

When will we be

What our blood says we are
