Inuyasha's Romantic Moments- Valentines Day

 

 

 

It was approaching the end of winter in Japan of both eras. In the Sengoku Jidai, Kagome and Inuyasha were sitting outside of Kaede's hut, the monk, the demon slayer and the kitsune sleeping indoors.

 

“I think the whole thing is stupid”

 

Kagome sighed, she didn't know why she was so upset by Inuyasha's reaction. She has known the hanyou for nearly a year now, so why would he appreciate the valentine's tradition.

 

“I don't see how it's stupid, Inuyasha. It a romantic event and gives woman an excuse to confess their feelings to the people they care and love. And I don't see you complaining about the chocolates Inuyasha.

 

Inuyasha never said anything immediately after the miko, since he was stuffing the last of the homemade chocolates in his mouth. After swallowing the helpless candy, he spoke.

 

“I just don't see why people need an excuse to confess there feelings for others. If you love someone and want them to know it, then just say it. There's no need to wait a whole year for that one day. Although the chocolates are good, I should have ate Miroku's and Shippo's too.”

 

Inuyasha turned to Kagome to see that she was just staring at him with an awe filled expression.

 

“What, you don't think I can eat that much chocolate, wench?” Inuyasha joked but Kagome's expression never changed.

 

“Inuyasha”, the futuristic miko finally spoke, “That has to be the most romantic thing you have ever said” She then jumped up and gave the hanyou a quick hug and entered the hut after announcing to Inuyasha she was going to sleep.

 

Inuyasha sat there stunned and blushing for a moment from Kagome's hug. His expression soon changed into confusion though.

 

“How is eating loads of chocolate romantic?”
