Kagome turned to meet Sango's gaze and gave her an apologetic look. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you. We were worried that if Naraku found out, he could use it against us. We've been mated for about three months but we admitted our feelings about six months ago."

"Well... remember when I got kidnapped and Kagura tried to have that infant find the darkness in my heart?"
