Shippo sits on the edge of bone eater's well and waits for Kagome. After a few minutes of waiting Kagome appears at the side of Shippo "Hey!" Kagome says cheerfully. shippo falls off of the ledge onto the grass. "AHH! Don't do that!" Shippo says petrified. "Sorry." Kagome says innocently. "Let's go back to the village Kagome! Everyone's waiting to see you!"
They walk back to the village and Miroku & Sango greet Kagome joyfully "Wow! Kagome you really have changed!" Says Miroku. Kagome's hair is now longer and she looks more grown up. with Miroku saying this Kagome smiles and blushes a little.
After talking for a few minutes with Miroku & Sango. Kagome looks around eagerly "W-where's Inuyasha?" She asks. "Don't know..haven't seen him all day." Sango tells her. * I guess he must not have missed me..or wanted to see me as much as I thought he would ..* "He's up on the hill" Kieade says interupting the conversation. "He goes there to think a lot. Kagome child ye should go see if he's okay." She tells Kagome. "Me? B-but" Kieade gives her a sturn look "okay..I'll go.." Kagome says finally agreeing.
Kagome walks up on the hill and sees Inuyasha stareing up at the night sky. "Umm.." Kagome says in a medium toned voice to get his attention. Inuyasha turns around quickly. "K-Kagome?" He says shocked. "yeah?" She replies. Inuyasha looks at Kagome stunned he missed her so much and at that moment he wanted nothing more then to hold her tightly in his arms and tell her how much he missed her but he held himself back..he wasn't ready to let Kagome see his soft side.Kagome walks over by Inuyasha and sits down next to him. They sit in silence. "Kagome?" Inuyasha says breaking the silence. She looks at him staring deep into his golden eyes.
"Why-why did you leave without saying anything?" Kagome turns away from Inuyasha "It's something you wouldn't understand..." She gets up and walks away leaving Inuyasha confused. *How wouldn't I understand?* Kagome walks into the forest and sits against the well thinking to herself. *Why did he ask me that...it's not like he'd care if I told him the truth..*
Then she suddenly hears a noise form behind her. Something or someone grabs her and pins her to the same tree that Inuyasha was pinned to when Kagome first saw him. "INUYASHA!" Kagome screams. Back by the village Inuyasha's dog-like ears twitch his name echos from treetop to treetop. "Kagome.." He says and runs back to Kieade's hut "Somethings attacking Kagome." Miroku, Sango, and Inuyasha run into the forest.
They see Kagome pinned up against the tree with a bow and arrow pointed at her heart. "Let her go!" Inuyasha screams. He lifts the teutsiusaga as the figure turns around. "K-Kikyo..?"
